Message from the Lt. Governor!

Hey Redbulls! I hope that everyone’s summer is going great so far. I’m writing this newsletter from the back of a train going from Paris to London. I’m in Europe but I’m still thinking about how much I miss you guys :’) Anyways, in this edition I have chosen to highlight certain events from clubs whose events page I have access to. I hope you check them out on the “EVENTS” page located on page 6. I really encourage you guys to get your hours up during in the summer to reach our “GOALS” located on page 7. I hope to see you this summer! Have a great break and safe travels to those going on vacation.

Service ServiceRecap Recap Service Recap 14th 14th Annual RB Historical Society Pancake Breakfast May 27, 2018 : Memorial Day Key Club Members and Kiwanis worked to serve pancakes, sausages, yogurt and drinks. Many members also helped to set up tables and were on trash duty. I look forward to this event every year because it’s a good chance for DNKC, MCKC, and the Los Rancheros Kiwanis to talk and serve Together! It’s also one of the few events That you can really see the impact your Service makes on the community! -Yolanda Mai, LTG

Creekside Elementary Read-In This past month, many members volunteered at the Creekside Elementary School Read-in. At this event they were able to read to young kids and were able to share with them the gift of reading a story. This makes a great impact on the younger generation and instills in them a greater love for knowledge and will hopefully inspire them to volunteer in the same way when they grow up. The two both had a fun time volunteering and reading! -Nicole Duston, WVKC
