A Message From Your LTG Happy Fall Redbulls! Thank you all for coming out to RTC in support of our division, and I hope you all had a good, spirit-filled time! With RTC checked off the list, it is now time to start getting excited for FALL RALLY!!! I can't wait to see you all at the October DCM where we will be preparing for the big Fall Rally spirit session, and I'm so excited to hang out with you all at Six Flags! But before we can do that, we need to make sure that we continue to stay motivated and committed. I know this is a hard season for a lot of you, as it definitely is for me, but make sure that you continue to support your fellow Key Clubbers as we progress through the school year, and we can all get through this together. Also don't forget to keep going strong with service hours, because that's what we're all about!
Stay spirited, Redbulls!

In this month's edition of The Redbull Reader, you'll find out about this past month's events, see how many points your club has earned so far, and learn about upcoming division events! Also, chekc out the contact page at the end for websites and emails for our division's clubs and the DLT! Hope you enjoy! And don't forget to carve a jack-o-lantern while you're at it!

Read about how CCA and Del Norte K at the Kiwanis Annua
Today, I was overwhelmed with a sense of community as I volunteered at the Los Rancheros Kiwanis’s 50th annual pancake breakfast. I recall waking up that day, slightly annoyed that I had to get up at 7:00am on a Saturday morning, but I am so glad I went. During the pancake breakfast, we helped hand out coffee and drinks to the guests, helped the guests get their food, and helped ensure that the pancake breakfast was running smoothly. As an added bonus, we also got to enjoy some delicious pancakes and sausages. It made my heart warm when I saw Kiwanis member’s and their families start to line up for pancakes. They told me their stories from when they were in Key Club and made sure that we knew that our help was appreciated. I recall one man telling me how he had been a Kiwanis member since 1969. He had also attended every single pancake breakfast since Kiwanis started holding them. That means 50 pancake breakfasts! Everyone was extremely welcoming, polite, and kind. This was my first year volunteering at the pancake breakfast and I can’t wait to be back next year.

Key Clubbers spent a Saturday morning al Pancake Breakfast!
On September 1st, I went to the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Rancho Bernardo High School. I first served coffee to people eating, and then I passed out utensils and milk. I signed up for this event because my friend told me about it. My favorite part about the event was hanging out with friends and meeting new people, like Macy and Nick, who are also in Del Norte Key Club. Interestingly, even though I was in charge of passing out milk, everyone asked me where the coffee and orange juice was.
