message from your DIVISION NEWS EDITOR What’s up, Red Bulls! Happy November! In honor of Thanksgiving and the school break at the end of this month, I decided to make this edition of the RED BULLETIN Thanksgiving themed. We are just one month away from the holiday season; how exciting! Personally, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because I get to spend time with all of my relatives and recognize everything I’m thankful, with good food of course. I hope you all take this time to tell your friends and family how thankful you are to have them in your lives. I hope you like this edition of the newsletter! Like always, it’s an honor to showcase our amazing division with each issue. ANGIE VO D37S DNE @angiehvo

message from your LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR What’s Stompin’ Red Bulls! Happy turkey month! I hope everyone has been doing well with online school. The holiday season is almost here and I couldn’t be more excited! I hope my seniors are almost done with college applications so we can all relax for the rest of Senior year! Last month, we worked really hard in fundraising for PTP and I believe we can keep up the amazing work. You all continue to amaze me everyday and I’m so proud to be serving as your Lieutenant Governor. As always, please free feel to reach out to me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns! SERVICE recap Story Any Time, Westview

“For this event, I chose four books to read and record for the New Alternatives for Children (NAC) organization. The books I read were "Good Night, Sleep Tight, Little Bunnies", "Chrysanthemum", "How a Seed Grows", and "Fluffy and Baron". They are great children's books with wonderful illustrations. For each book, I recorded a

video where I read aloud the story and explained a little about why I like the book. This service project promotes literacy among children, and I'm glad that I could contribute to their virtual library. This project is a great way to share stories with children and bring positivity in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.” - Erin Chin, Westview “[Our teachers] never outright say Thank You Cards, Cathedral how much more work they are putting in just to teach their normal classes right now. Putting in the effort to write my letters for our service project really made me think about how much effort we receive every time the bell rings for class. Getting to visit all of my current and past teachers and seeing the smiles on their faces when delivering my letters made me really happy.” - Hannah Wong, Cathedral

SERVICE recap “Last September, RBHS Key Club Unicef Math, RB held a service project that partnered with UNICEF USA to play math games and raise money for those in need. Whenever I found the time, I’d play for 15-20 minutes and record the amount of money I collected; at times, I’d make up to $70 in one sitting! After playing, I would be filled with joy knowing that just a little bit of my time was positively impacting the lives of so many poverty-stricken kids. I loved engaging in this activity because it was a super easy way to fundraise for a good cause from the comfort of my own home.” - Saavi Misra, RB

Craft Bags, CCA

“Key Clubbers in CCA helped create Craft Bags for Kids this month. Art is such an important activity and creating art was one of my favorite activities during school. Knowing that kids don’t have access to art supplies is absolutely heartbreaking. Each craft bag contained materials like markers, colored pencils, sketchbook paper and so many more supplies. The bags were donated to Hannah’s House, a family center.” - Aiyana Nambiar, CCA
