a message from your ltg Hey Redbulls! Happy summer break! Summer is a great time for service since we all have a lot more free time, so I hope you all will continue to participate in service projects during the break. With OTC and Region Picnic coming up in July and August, also make sure you stay tuned into division news so you don't miss any important updates. Summer is also a very important time for club officers, as I hope you will all take the initiative to start planning another amazing year. I wish you all a safe, fun, and exciting summer! Yours in service,

Mimi Mayer

service service spotlight: spotlight: may may dcm dcm On May 12th, Division 37 South had a DCM full of fun, games, and ice cream. Even better than this, we also made cards for veterans in preparation for Memorial Day later that month. This service project is one of my all-time favorites because it is one of the ways that Key Clubbers honor those who serve God and their country, as stated in the Key Club Pledge. It is always an important thing to thank the members of our armed forces who have sacrificed so much to ensure freedom for us and our future generations. With both a worthy cause and sweet treats, this DCM was destined to be a good time. Members got to know one another as they ate ice cream and wrote their thankyou cards, building the bonds that will make this 2018-19 term productive and enjoyable. After all the cards had been completed, we did the actual DCM. We heard about what the other clubs had been doing during the past month and learned details about the much-anticipated divisional banquet. Finally, we played a few playground games (never too old for a little fun!) and then said our goodbyes, already looking forward to seeing each other again at the June DCM. Rachel Leslie Mt. CarmelÂ

service service spotlight: spotlight: rb rb historical historical society society pancake pancake breakfast breakfast On Memorial Day, I went to the RB Historical Society Pancake Breakfast. There, I helped with set up, wrapped silverware, planted American flags, and arranged the bananas. I went to this event last year, and it was really fun. Plus, there were free pancakes! I met many new people of the community, such as the veterans when they came to get eating utensils and bananas. Something I really enjoyed was the part when a group of us volunteers were able to sit down and make hundreds of the wrapped silverware. It was very relaxing, and I learned how to properly wrap silverware. Also, while I was at the silverware/banana area, my friend Siham and I made a Tower of Bananas. On the tower. I was able to stack 3 bananas directly on top of each other. Wynnie Chan Del Norte
