Conference Welcome The plenary session will be held on Friday morning, with the event beginning at 11-00 a.m. in Room T1.18, Tara Building. There will be an interval after the first keynote address and complementary refreshments and snacks will be served.

Presentations and Equipment All rooms will be equipped with a computer pre-installed with PowerPoint, as well as a screen and LCD projector. We recommend that you bring two copies of your presentation in case one fails, and suggest sending yourself the presentation by email as a further precaution.

Session Format Papers (20 minute talks): A paper here is defined as a 20-minute presentation on one of the three sub-topics of the conference. Papers will be classified thematically.. Parallel panel sessions will run for the duration of the conference. Panels run for 120 minutes, with four presenters per panel, so each presenter has 30 minutes in total for presentation and Q&A.

Poster presentation (30 minutes): This presentation format may be suitable to showcase preliminary results of a research study or for a study where visual representation may be more feasible. Authors at these sessions may present data and benefit from informal discussions and feedback from other conference delegates. Posters, digital computer-based representations, art or visual media may be used. A summary on the objectives and methodology of the research should be presented and may be made available on a separate sheet.

Session Chairs Session chairs are expected to introduce themselves and other speakers (briefly), ensure that the session begins and ends on time, and that the time is divided fairly between presentations. The session chair is asked to assume a timekeeping role, and to this end, a yellow and red timekeeping card is used as a visual cue for presenters, letting them know when they have 5 minutes remaining, and when they must stop. Please follow the order in the programme, and if a presenter fails to show, the original timeslots should be retained as delegates use the programme to plan attendance at the various sessions.

Internet and Social Media There is a free WiFi internet connection throughout the conference areas. However, we would strongly suggest that you do not rely on a live connection for your presentation.
