We are thrilled to throw open our doors again after such a long period of unprecedented closure and can promise you a warm welcome to another great programme of shows to take us right through the Winter season. The safety of our customers will be a major factor in our planning going forward. We will strive to adhere to - and go beyond - any government guidelines to ensure the comfort and safety of our audiences. The theatre is equipped with a Displacement Ventilation System installed throughout our auditorium which is considered best practice in dealing with ventilation requirements to tackle Covid. We will be delighted to host the legendary GLEN HANSARD when he makes his long awaited return in October. It is a delight to welcome this internationally acclaimed artist to the Millennium Forum. There will be lots of laughs this season- and, to be honest, we really need a laugh - as Comedy is a key part of our programme with the Blame Game’s COLIN MURPHY in September while his co-star, NEIL DELAMERE also joins us the following month. Our favourite Aussie export, Ireland’s own JIMEOIN is here for two nights – one already sold out – while JIMMY CARR will take to our stage in November as will ROB BECKETT. CONAL GALLEN returns to delight his many fans this season also. We are thrilled to host the brand new production of RHYTHM OF THE DANCE in a one-off socially distanced production to launch our new season. Featuring world class live musicians, star vocalists and World champion dancers, this show promises us a two hour thrilling, breathless, journey.

The inimitable CALAMITY JANE is brought to us by the LMS in October.. We also have fun for families with BABY SHARK LIVE and, another wonderful family show, the Olivier Award nominated, THE TIGER WHO CAME TO TEA in November. We have a wide range of music such as THE ILLEGAL EAGLES; all time favourites JOHNNY MCEVOY and MIKE DENVER and the ever popular NATHAN CARTER being only some of those featured this season. I am delighted to welcome Ballet Ireland with a new production of NUTCRACKER SWEETIES, a favourite in our Christmas season. The City of Derry International CHOIR FESTIVAL performs this October with an exciting four-day programme in the theatre of live and virtual events. At last, after a one year hiatus, we’re thrilled to say, “It's Panto time again - Oh Yes It Is!” - with SLEEPING BEAUTY, our professional pantomime, starring William Caulfield as Nanny. Fun, frolics and laughter abound in this wonderful take on the traditional tale staged by the acclaimed Millennium Forum Productions. We can’t wait! I hope you can join us in our busy season! We need your continued and valued support now more than ever. You can view our full programme at millenniumforum.co.uk Thanks to all our patrons, funders and sponsors for their continued support over the last eighteen months. David McLaughlin Chief Executive

October brings us RYAN MCMULLAN, who is proving very popular with our younger audience, as is KODALINE, who sold out in less than half an hour. The legendary VAN MORRISON, on stage in November, consistently receives a warm welcome from our audiences.

Over the last few years, Ryan McMullan has been making a name for himself as a gifted songwriter and exceptional singer. 2019 was a huge year for the Portaferry native, with the success of his single 'Rebellion', and 'Make A Mark', his collaboration with Beoga. He has toured non-stop, playing his own sold-out shows in Dublin and Belfast and playing support slots with The Coronas on their Long Way Home tour in Ireland. He also opened for Snow Patrol in the USA, Europe and Asia and stood in as an honorary member of the band when guitarist Johnny McDaid was recovering after surgery. It's no wonder that Ryan is now being recognised as one of Northern Ireland's biggest and brightest talents.

Neil Delamere: End of Watch
