Millikin University means world-class facilities.

Center for Theatre & Dance

This innovative, $29 million facility houses all areas of study within the nationally recognized school and features the Virginia Rogers Theatre, a 260-seat flexible venue. The center also houses lighting and sound labs, a costume studio and acting studios.

Perkinson Music Center

Built in 1911, the Perkinson Music Center houses the only all-Steinway school in Illinois and includes Kaeuper Hall, Millitrax and First Step Records.

Kirkland Fine Arts Center

A large performance venue that seats more than 1,900, Kirkland’s auditorium is ideal for concerts, musicals and touring productions.

State-of-the-art recording studio consisting of two studios featuring the latest technology.

Media Arts Center

The Media Arts Center houses Macintosh computers complete with the latest Adobe Creative Suite.

The School of Art & Creative Media unites Millikin University’s distinguished Art Department with the rapidly expanding Arts Technology and Administration Department. Our multidisciplinary approach gives students the benefit of traditional artistic practice while also utilizing the latest innovations in technology. The School of Art and Creative Media hosts multiple artist exhibitions, film premieres and technology showcases each year. Our student-run arts businesses host additional pop-up exhibitions and speaker series, using spaces such as Millikin’s retail art gallery, Blue Connection.

Apply at millikin.edu/apply or through the Common Application at commonapp. org. Our application is free. Some majors have additional application requirements.

Rolling Admission

Admission to Millikin is considered on a rolling basis. In addition to grades and test scores, Millikin will consider your extracurricular activities, community service, hobbies and drive to succeed.

Apply for Scholarships

Apply for scholarships after you’ve been admitted. Scholarship applications open November 1 and most are due January 15. Learn more at millikin.edu/scholarships.

Save Your Seat

Make it Millikin by submitting a $150 Advance Tuition Deposit. The deposit is credited toward your tuition and refundable until May 1.

File Your FAFSA

The only financial aid form Millikin requires is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). File any time after October 1 at fafsa.gov. Millikin’s school code is 001724.

Student-Run Ventures

Millikin’s student-run ventures are managed and operated by students as part of a unique learning laboratory course. Faculty advise students in all aspects of running a business. With actual clients and money at stake, students experience real risk and reward. Student-run ventures include marketing and branding campaigns, as well as management opportunities for theatre, a record label, art gallery and more.

All student-run ventures at Millikin are interdisciplinary, meaning CFA students will work with their peers across majors, allowing them an inside look at other industries and skills.
