What is it? Woodworking is the hobby, art, or skill of making items from wood. Some examples of these items might be cabinets, desks, bookcases, beds, etc. Woodworking might be a bit expensive to start but once you invest in some good tools the cost will go down while the results get better. Woodworking can be a lifelong hobby if you start one project at a time.

How to start: There are tons of Youtube videos and articles giving step-by-step instructions on how to build interesting projects. If you are still skeptical about woodworking, classes are for you. Places like Home Depot offer free DIY classes where you can learn tremendously. Overall, there are a lot of ways to get started in woodworking.
