REMOVING THE JUNK FROM THE COMMUNITY TRUNK
AGAZINE DVER L.O.V.E.~ ~In A WorldWRGO Filled WithM Hate - We mustAEmulate new.
The purpose of this magazine is to provide the audience with specialized information from a unique community; dedicated to and built upon the Love and Light of Michael Jackson.
We wish to be an avenue to the beautiful things going forward; and share those things in this magazine once a month. We want to appeal to the rooted fans as well as the innovative.
We bring you this material by way of the countless groups and projects created because of Michael Jackson.
Don’t put JUNK in your new TRUNK. It devalues your new found treasure.
Editors
This magazine will be dedicated to those projects with undertakings that build up the community; and actually possess the healing and light properties needed to help change a world filled with darkness and a community that has become infested with it.
We wish to provide the Community Trunk, the new body of Michael Jackson, with information about new and delightful support projects. There has been too much “Junk” attached to his trunk and it is time we start anew by peeling away the old and rotted garbage from his amazing trunk, his community. We hope you will be a part of the solution and not the rubbish. There should be no room for old junk in a new trunk. Michael is a new creature in Christ Jesus. The old MJ has passed away and behold, all things concerning him have become

WRGO Magazine Editorial Will Jay Z’s Tidal Streaming Project Survive? Normally I do not concern myself with music as far as streaming services are concerned. I watch videos on YouTube or Vimeo and listen to it daily on the radio, my computer player or use the Amazon app. Heck I wouldn’t know the difference between one streaming service from another. After hearing so much talk about Jay-Z’s new music streaming platform I wanted to know what “Tidal” was and how it was to benefit artists.
Source: Kevin Mazur/Getty Image Photo of Tidal Projects Artists First of all Tidal is a Music streaming platform owned by artists. Which artist owns a piece of Tidal is not known yet except for the ones who showed at a press conference to sign some kind of document as a pledge and just stand on the stage. Second, I still don’t know what Tidal is all about. No one asked any questions about it….not even one reporter. In time perhaps the bigger picture will become clearer. I can say this: There are a lot of people who do not support or favor it. I can’t say if the streaming platform will survive or not because as far as I am concerned it’s still a mystery. Nevertheless I will continue to purchase the kind of music I like and support the artists I choose as I’ve always done. If I choose to purchase a cd or a single I will do so. I do not need to purchase a subscription to a streaming service to support my favorite artists. I will continue to use YouTube and Vimeo and may listen to music on Spotify from time to time. Oh, I did forget about Sound Cloud. There are a couple of artist that I listen to on that streaming platform. Ben Gibbard, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the indie rock band Death Cab for 7
Cutie sends a very strong message concerning his take on Jay -Z’s new streaming service, which is not a good one. What else can be said except for the following opinions given in the links below? Good luck Jay-Z and partners. http://mic.com/articles/115350/ in-one-quote-death-cab-forcutie-s-frontman-gives-jay-z-stidal-a-perfect-middle-finger
http://variety.com/2015/voices/ columns/jay-z-streaming-musicservice-lacks-business-plan1201468917/ Bob Lefsetz of “Variety” tells us What’s Wrong With Jay Z’s Tidal Streaming Music Service Plan. Perhaps Jay-Z will explain further what “Tidal” is really all about. Is it to make the rich artist richer or keep the struggling artist struggling? Seven artist who aren’t down with Jay-Z’s Tidal Streaming Platform………..http://www.vh1.com/ news/5428/artists-who-dissed-jay-z-tidal/ Alexa Tietjen of Vh1.com had this to say: Jay Z’s Tidal wants to make waves for all, but not everyone thinks it’s starting out on the right foot. Streaming service users and artists alike have spoken out against the Spotify rival, claiming that it’s too exclusive and expensive, and that it only benefits artists who are already wealthy a few times over. One Twitter user put it best when he posted the net worth of each of the artists on the stage at Tidal’s press conference at the beginning of the month.

These are the stories about the real Michael Jackson... The musical genius at work. Jacksonismo - Jackson as a symptom " As Mark Fisher warns us, this book was born of the conviction that the death of Michael Jackson should be approached with something more than flattered biographies. Its authors-a selection of cultural and musical critics among which are Ian Penman, Simon Reynolds, Barney Hoskyns and Steven Shaviro- agree that his work and his life are a symptom that requires interpretation, and that his death just after the last financial crisis and the election of Barack Obama as president of the United States, marked the end of an era more than anyone he had helped define. Dolls, zombies, giants, cyborgs, fetish objects and fantasy characters like Peter Pan or Mickey Mouse, who obsessed entirely to Michael Jackson, inhabit these trials not only as evidence of enchantment and sorcery with which permeated all his work, or as a prediction of personal disasters that eroded his career, but reflected primarily as hieroglyphics on the surface of the fabric that connects Jackson to the expansion of neoliberal, globalized and hyper-mediatized world in which we live today is reflected. This process, which began in the eighties and involved the commodification of all aspects of life, found in the King of Pop - the absolute and universal to most enacting merchandise. His body post-racial, post-human and androgynous embodied the will of planetary domination of capital, its relentless ability to abstract it all while investing him with irresistible force. As compelling as the performances Jackson dazzled us throughout our lives, and that the authors of this book are rendering again and again as if it were a fascinating, disturbing and completely elusive mystery"
Michael Jackson For The Record The King of Pop's sudden death on 25th June 2009 shocked the world, and a glut of hastily written biographies quickly followed, but this book is different: this book is a revised and expanded edition of the no.1 best selling Michael Jackson book on amazon.com, in the days and weeks following his passing. Now, in response to numerous requests from Michael Jackson fans around the world, Cadman & Halstead have completely revised and expanded their best selling 'For The Record'. As well as detailing the hundreds of songs Michael was involved with over the years, solo and with his brothers, the second editions also focuses on the King of Pop's albums, his home videos, his films and short films, his books and his chart successes, and it includes complete USA & UK discographies.

A HIStory of Michael Jackson's Most Controversial Song Michael Jackson Slide The Line Dance Connection - Tucker

A HIStory of Michael Jackson's Most Controversial Song They Don't Care About Us is the album’s second track, and the fourth single lifted from the HIStory album. It’s a dark and gritty piece, loaded with meaning and emotion. It was written and produced by the King of Pop himself. Though not as iconic as some of his other works such as Billie Jean, Black or White or Man in the Mirror, They Don't Care About Us was a top 10 hit in most countries, and was supported by two music videos. Never had we heard Michael so angry or defiant on record, And never before, or since, would one of his songs cause so much controversy.

Thank you for joining me in this cause! May 31st - June 6th I’ll be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to support the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L. A. Gay & Lesbian Center. This bike ride means the world to those who receive treatment as a result of this event, and your support means the world to me. We’re working together to make HIV/ AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today? I am riding this year as an expression of gratitude.
The 2015 AIDS/LifeCycle ride will be my second and I will continue to ride as long as I have the means and there is a need.
Gratitude to all who donated last year . Gratitude to all who work countless hours searching for a cure for AIDS.
Last year I rode to thank God for sustaining my life through many trials and tribulations. This year I ride for all of the beautiful people I've met who are HIV+, for the cousin that everyone was so secretive about, for friends, family and so many more.
Gratitude to the doctors and nurses caring for these patients. Gratitude to those who make this ride possible.
I am almost certain that everyone on this planet has been touched by this pandemic and none of us are alone in this fight.
I'm riding in this year's AIDS/LifeCycle so that no one else has to hear about the gay cousin or family member who died of a mysterious illness, as I did. I am riding in this year's ride for the many friends and acquaintances who have lost family members, friends and co-workers to this disease. I am riding on behalf of my sober brother and friends Joseph and Tony, who suffer everyday, but still manage to smile.
Please help me to help someone else by clicking on the "Donate to support Dana’s button". By donating to this cause you help provide HIV prevention counseling, you help cover the cost of medical supplies, help provide HIV/STD testing and so much more.
I am riding because millions of lives have been lost in the fight against HIV/AIDS and for the people who still suffer in the dark. People are still afraid to face this illness and these precious souls need our help. They need us to raise awareness and money.
You may also join the ride as a cyclist, roadie or virtual cyclist and we'd love to have you. Thank you for your tax deductible donation.
I am riding, simply because I can and because I had the most amazing experience of my life this year and want to do it all over again in 2015.
Blessings,

We are still fighting HIV/AIDS and millions of people are either infected and don't know it or they are infected and too ashamed to seek help and I want them to know I stand with them and they are not alone.

Eddie Murphy to be Awarded Kennedy Center’s 2015 Mark Twain Prize The sharp wit, the vulgar language, the keen observations, the instantly recognizable laugh. There's only one Eddie Murphy and this year, the Kennedy Center is honoring him with the 2015 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Murphy will receive the 18th annual award at a gala performance on Oct. 18 that will feature several yet to be named comedians. The program will be seen on national television. Murphy, 54, was still just a teenager when he brought "Saturday Night Live" back from the dead with his hilarious impressions of James Brown and Michael Jackson. Cultural critiques such as Mr. Robinson also went over well as being both funny and satirically poignant.
The comedian also perfected a Bill Cosby impression, a shtick he chose not to do again for SNL's recent 40th anniversary celebration. "Eddie Murphy has kept us laughing for 30 years. He's like Mark Twain. He gets to the heart of a provocative issue, and he's damn funny while he's doing it," Cappy McGarr, one of the show's executive producers, said. "He has had incredible influence over so many comedians who have followed him." Murphy has had a long and successful Hollywood career that saw him become one of the highest grossing actors in the business. "48 Hrs.," "Trading Places" and "Beverly Hills Cop" impressed critics and scored big at the box offices. "Through his appearances on 'Saturday Night Live,' groundbreaking standup comedy and work as a movie star, Eddie Murphy has shown that like Mark Twain he was years ahead of his time," Kennedy Center President Deborah Rutter said in a statement. The prize was created in 1998 to celebrate America's best humorists in the spirit of 19th century author and satirist Samuel L. Clemens (whose pen name was Mark Twain). Previous winners include Jay Leno, Tina Fey, Bob Newhart, Carol Burnett and Richard Pryor. "I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the Kennedy Center and to join the disgruntled list of past recipients of this award," Murphy said in a statement.

to provide vegetables to needy families in the community. The girls won the Indiana contest, raking in $55,000 in technology. They joined 15 semifinalists in New York earlier this month and came home with a $25,000 civic engagement award that they celebrated Thursday.
Sixth-and-seventh-graders at the Frankie Woods McCullough Academy for Girls basked in the glory of their $55,000 in technology winnings Thursday from a contest sponsored by tech giant Samsung. They're also one of five schools still vying for a top prize of $138,720.
"It was a great experience and honor," said Angel Wells, 13, who traveled to New York with fellow student Courtney Blakely, 11. Wells and Blakely took center stage, explaining the project to judges.
"We find out if we win it all on Tuesday," said English teacher Kimberly Stivers who read about the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest and brought it to the classroom with science teacher Yvonne Lucas.
"It was very intimidating, everyone brought their A-game," said Stivers. "We did a lot of 'drilling and grilling,' there was a lot of competition."
The girls decided to focus on what they felt was a serious issue — the lack of fresh food options in Gary — a city they called a "food desert" in their two-minute video.
Besides a gender-based academy, Frankie Woods McCullough is also a STEM school that emphasizes science and engineering, fields that girls typically don't enter.
They did their homework, getting a hands-on lesson from Phil Graham, president of the Portage Community Garden. Then, they crafted their own tabletop green houses and set their seedlings in rich soil. Their teachers created a lesson plan that dovetailed with their project and the video.

EDUCATION Cecilia Techer It's been nearly 19 years that I'm living on this earth, now. 19 years that I'm watching the mankind... And I've noticed that those who can't have education are curious about learning more each day, unlike us European/western people who have free education and actually do not really pay attention to it. When asking a young Nigerian man, who is 19 just like me (well he must be 20 by now) he said he loves studying and cannot think about taking days off oftentimes (= not going to school when actually you have to). I must admit that I was impressed by this answer as I have always been seeing the other western teenagers happy about leaving school... Unlike this African teen. Another young Serbian boy told me that he really loves studying a few weeks ago, and as I was impressed, it reminded me about the young Nigerian man who had told me the same... While our generation, here in western countries, are enjoying new technologies, simple life and CULTURAL STANDARDIZATION, followed by a lack of knowledge and a willful ignorance of the cultural minorities (and sometimes we even ignore our own culture to preach about other emergent ones), these young people are enjoying discovering things they may not see again within 20 years. While we enjoy this complacency, and do not know the difference between a Muslim and a terrorist, a sexual discrimination and an opinion about genders, a tabloid and a newspaper... These people have understood that the best way to fight for a brighter day is education, and they are waiting for this day to come. While we have lost any hope, they are still fighting to rebuild their countries, and yet we still think, by popular belief, that people from Africa and Middle-East cannot have education and that they will not ask for it as they mainly need food. See? "What you think May not be the reality." #love

MAKE-A-WISH CELEBRATED DISNEY’S 100,000TH GLOBAL WISH It all started with the first wish in 1981, a wish by an 8 -year-old boy named Frank “Bopsy” Salazar, who wished to be transported into the magical world of inspiration and motivation at Disney. Thirty-four years later, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Disney granted their 100,000th global wish together. Since Bopsy’s wish, Disney has given wish kids with life-threatening medical conditions incredible memories that can provide the hope, strength, and joy they need to fight their illness. This February, Make-A-Wish celebrated all Disney has done to strengthen the families and communities where we all live, work and play.
president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. “Nearly 35 years and 100,000 wishes later, Disney’s steadfast support of our mission continues to grow as they help us all to believe that anything is possible. We are grateful to have such a dedicated and faithful friend.” Disney’s support of Make-A-Wish extends far beyond the wish experience. In 2012, Make-A-Wish, as a signature partner, secured a grant from Disney, and every year since has received grants to help build wish infrastructure and other capacity-building programs. Disneyowned ESPN has showcased incredible sports-related wish stories on their annual “My Wish” series, this summer marks the series’ 10th anniversary; and the company encourages Disney VoluntEARS to contribute their time and talents to further the Make-A-Wish mission. The timeless bonds and memories Disney has created have helped kids through treatments, helped them overcome doubts and despair, and helped them feel and get better – because wishes work wonders.
Make-A-Wish America grants more than 14,000 wishes each year. More than 7,000 of them involve Disney’s help – ranging from once-in-a-life time meetings with favorite Disney talent and visits to Disney theme parks, to extraordinary trips on Disney Cruise Lines and relaxing stays at the Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii. In 2014, Disney contributed more than $14.5 million through the donation of cash and theme park tickets to help grant these wishes.
Throughout the month of February, Make-A-Wish will showcase Disney wish stories on its website at wish.org, sharing the story of just a few of the thousands of wish kids impacted by their Disney experience. Make-A-Wish is proud to call Disney its longest tenured sponsor and sincerely thanks Disney for more than three decades of generous support through granting 100,000 wishes – and counting – since that first wish in 1981. EASTER DEVOTION
The Real Meaning of Easter By Beth Patch
The best way to understand the real meaning of Easter would be from Jesus. The real meaning is a three word answer ... the new covenant. The New Covenant Jesus had come in town for the Passover celebration and was getting ready to be betrayed by one of the disciples, publicly humiliated and mocked, beaten beyond recognition, and hung on a cross to die, when he made his special request for his followers to remember that He gave his body for us and poured out his blood as a sacrifice for us. The heart of Easter lies in his words, "the new covenant between God and his people." In Luke 22 we get a picture of the night before his death: When the time came, Jesus and the apostles sat down together at the table. Jesus said, "I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. For I tell you now that I won't eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God." Then he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. Then he said, "Take this and share it among yourselves. For I will not drink wine again until the Kingdom of God has come." He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me." After supper he took another cup of wine and said, "This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you. Luke 22:14-20 Passover and the New Covenant Since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, people were destined to be separated from God because of their sin. God's Spirit rested on the Patriarchs of our faith, but was not poured out on the masses. The Holy of Holies was the innermost and most sacred part of the tabernacle and ordinary people of faith would never get to have access to this place where God's Presence could be found. We were hopeless in our sins and distanced from God. People of faith offered up animal sacrifices according to the laws given to Moses to ask God to forgive their sins and have mercy on them. Bulls, goats, and lambs each had their significance. But the lamb had special meaning because it was lamb's blood the Israelites painted on their doorposts to avoid death on the night of Passover. (Exodus 12:11-13) God gave Moses and Aaron specific instructions on how to honor God with annual Passover celebrations. Lamb is the pinnacle of the Passover meal. The lambs were to be spotless and even lived with the families for several days before they were sacrificed, adding to the understanding that the ultimate sacrifice was close to the hearts of those whose sins were atoned for. All of the many interesting details of celebrating Passover have significant meaning that point to the ultimate Passover lamb - Jesus Christ - a sinless God-man who lived among the people for a season. What is the real meaning of Easter? In John 1:29, as he sees Jesus approaching, John the Baptist announces to the crowd around him, "Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the 63
world!"
He knew that Jesus was the son of God, the long awaited Messiah, the one whom God's prophets had promised to save mankind from their sins and to give them a deep heartfelt relationship with God the Father. The new covenant would be an everlasting covenant. (Jeremiah 31:3134, Jeremiah 32:39-42, Isaiah 55:3) Jesus, our sacrificial lamb, our Savior, our God, our Redeemer - he laid down his life as our sacrificial lamb to pay for our sins. When he rose from the dead three days later, he gave victory over eternal separation from God (death) to all who put their faith and trust in him. That is the new covenant - everlasting life spent with God through faith in all that Jesus Christ has done and continues to do. Bible Verses All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don't believe what God has testified about his Son. And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life. (1 John 5:1012, NLT) “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3b-4, KJV) “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9, NLT) Prayer Father God, there is sometimes controversy about how, when, and what to call the remembrance of the greatest day in history - the day Jesus Christ, your beloved son, rose from the dead and brought the gift of your forgiveness and eternal life to all who would like to receive it - the new covenant. Please pour out your Holy Spirit on all who believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and put us on our knees before you with thankful hearts for your great love for us. You, oh God, have given us victory over sin and death, and the promise of never leaving us or forsaking us for eternity. Help us to be the body of Christ, the church, united in awe of how you saved our unworthy souls ... your body and your blood as a sacrifice for us. Help us to bring this message to all who will listen. Help us to love like you love. Thank you forever! Amen. Article

CALL FOR LOVE FOR APRIL 5, 2015 I CAN HEAR YOUR PRAYERS “God can hear even the footfall of an ant.” (Sri Ramakrishna)
Outside of my window in the nurses’ residence, there was a huge magnolia tree that blessed us with its blossoms each spring. I can’t recall having but one or two people back home who actually believed I would succeed in nursing school, so I had to believe in myself. And God. I recall fretting over my upcoming assignment in the Intensive Care Unit, and seriously doubting if I could survive without killing anyone. I looked out at that magnolia tree and prayed, “Dear God, if this life path is your will for me, then give me the strength and knowledge I need to do a good job for the patients I might care for.” Such was the character of my prayers. Nothing fancy, or exotic, just plain language from the heart, knowing I was heard. Years later I happened upon a wonderful little book, “Learn to Pray” by Marcus Braybrooke. The author does not so much teach us to pray, as validate what so many of us already know: there are many ways to commune with the Divine. It’s the intent that matters. And it must be infused with Love.
So many times, at the end of a song, Michael would stand straight up, extend his arms, and look upward. When I see that posture, I am convinced that he was praying. Maybe with words, maybe not, but praying nonetheless. In fact, so many of his performances are, in themselves, prayers. So much of what we do may seem ordinary to us, but if done with love, those acts become prayers. Here is a short prayer for us today: Grant to us to love you; grant that we may love those that love you; ... Make the love of you dearer to us than ourselves, than our families, than wealth, and even than cool water. (Attributed to the Prophet Muhammad)

Who ever she may be I know that person isn’t me, Nor will it ever be.. You have no idea what you have just lost.. There is a knife buried in my heart, turning, digging ever so deeper, as if your hand is on the handle.. I never want to feel this much pain again Tears keep running down my face As your words hit home for the last time..
I'TS FINALLY OVER Pain shoots through me as I remember your words.. So clear, so defined Has it finally come down to this? Your words are hitting me like a ton of bricks.. I can do no right You are never wrong.. Pain hits me as your words keep ringing in my ears This time for sure you really want me to go.. Tears keep falling As I hear your hateful words so full of anger as if I was the cause… We both know I am not but its easier for you to keep on blaming me. You may of loved me once But now, nothing is left for you but words..
I just can't take this again I should never of had to.. I was your lover, your friend not your whipping girl for your inability to deal with your life.. I’m not getting back up again just to fight a losing battle against your drinking.. I am finally giving up.. Just letting you know That since you want me to go I’m walking out for the last time and I won’t be looking back.. I can't look back I just can't take this pain in my world As your words are ringing in my ears To save myself I’m gone This time It’s for good…
I have finally decided what to do I can't take this again, I should know by now that if I keep coming back thinking this time it would be different I should know it never will be. I can do no right you think you are never wrong.. this time I won’t be able to let your words go.. I don't have what you want.. 68

“SHOUT IT OUT”: CORRINE MONTORFANI
Class Action Lawsuit for BREAKING BOUSE 72
Do you remember this one?
Last year incredible news of a Michael Jackson fan filing a Class Action Lawsuit in Los Angeles over the authenticity of three controversial songs included on the posthumous album “Michael”? Well…the story seem to be not over and surely not forgotten. Last April 13, there was the status conference, and Stipulation and Order have been forwarded on 02/25/2018 .
Let’s go through this one just to refresh the ideas and keep updated.
The plaintiff, Vera Serova, alleges that Eddie Cascio, his partner James Porte, and Cascio’s music production company Angelikson Productions LLC committed fraud by creating and selling fake songs, via The Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music Entertainment, to consumers on the Michael album, released on December 14, 2010 in the U.S. The songs in question are the infamous and so called by fans “Cascio tracks: “Breaking News,” “Keep Your Head Up,” and “Monster.” Blogger & journalist Damien Shield, MJ supporter & researcher on the same very subject of the lawsuit since nearly four years, explained the details and the content of the law suit on his site: http://www.damienshields.com/mj-fan-sues -sony-estate-cascio-porte-over-fake-songs/
Back in 2010, when the controversy first erupted and the general feeling of many MJ fans after the release of the album tohards those songs was:
Cascio tracks: Michael Jackson + impersonator + softwre = FAKE With the relevant visual expressions of no appreciation. 73
The Estate attorney Howard Weitzman issued a statement to fans and the media outlining the lengths he had gone to in order to confirm the authenticity of the Cascio tracks, specifying that six of Michael’s former producers and engineers who had worked with him over the past 30 years Bruce Swedien, Matt Forger, Stewart Brawley, Michael Prince, Dr. Freeze and Teddy Riley – were all invited to a listening session to hear the raw vocals of the Cascio tracks in question, and they all confirmed that the vocal was definitely Michael. However, former Jackson producer, Cory Rooney, and Michael‘s nephew, Taryll Jackson, who was also at that very listening session, vigorously contested the accuracy of Weitzman’s statement.
Teddy Riley issued a public apology on Twitter two years later to fans over his involvement with the posthumous production of Cascio tracks (Riley remixed “Breaking News” and “Monster”) He clearly wrote to a fan that: “The truth will set us all free… I was set up and it will all come out… That’s all I can say right now.” Actually he was not the only one.. Also Philinganes and Burt Bacharach were… Greg Phillinganes worked as musician on “ Behind the Mask” that without being a fake, have been horribly remixed but if I have to compare this story, I could even gain a grain of esteem for John McClain as producer of it and I’m ready to almost forgive the Behind The Mask remix. Burt Bacharet is very clear on the subject in a passage from his biography "Anyone who had a heart".It say: * I exclude the "collaboration" on the posthumous title Cascio "All I Need" sung by the unknown mystery, but attributed to MJ” . Burt produced the arrangements of this song at the request of the Estate, clearly without knowing he was going astray.
Cory Rooney on his Facebook profile called it bullshit and retorted on Weitzman’s statement: “it's clear Michael’s Voice *is* used, but it's not 100% him. Also maybe I'm just ignorant but am I the only one that finds the idea of a "forensic musicologist" a bit strange - I mean does this kinda of thing happen enough that they have experts in this field? I was in that room, and the majority of the people mentioned did NOT agree that it was MJ! Some felt it sounded like him but all agree that there was nothing there that was consistent with any MJ habits like finger snaps, headphone bleeding, foot stomping or just simple things like his voice asking for another take. Both Dr. Freeze and Teddy Riley sat with Taryll Jackson and myself and stated that they felt what we felt.”
What distinguished Riley from Bacharach and Phillinganes is that he agreed to show up on TV with the Cascio brothers to support (and lie) about the songs. A real shame … I have the feeling that this came out as sort of a revenge for having been excluded from the Xscape project, but this is just my opinion and another story. And in any case, these confessions and apologies were welcomed. My esteem for him went back a little bit and I ‘m happy because I can listen to DANGEROUS again. Then..I truly understand … It must have been very hard remix “Breaking News…eh Teddy!

Even Quincy Jones had his say in regards to these tracks: In an interview accorded to Roger Friedman on November 17, 2010, Quincy Jones answered some questions about the title Breaking News and Michael Jackson. WRGO will let you make up your own mind in regard to his statements: Friedman: Have you heard the new songs of MJ? Jones: I was asked to identify them. Friedman: Have you heard Breaking News? Jones: Yes, they made me listen to it. Friedman: It’s sound just like Michael…, this song sound like a Michael Jackson song? Jones: How can you say that with all these sounds stacked on top of each other? Friedman: But …the melody is very Michaelish... Jones: Hum hum. Friedman: This song has a signature, you can hear in the song…everyone has a signature.. Jones: I cannot say, the sounds are too stacked. Could be, I do not know. Friedman: I think it's him…but there has been so much controversy this week. Friedman: Did Michael thank you for your collaboration? Jones: Of course. Michael knew what was going on. The record company did not want me in the beginning. They found me too jazzy. Friedman: Was Michael a good writer? Jones: My God, yes. Do not Stop 'Til You Get Enough. Friedman: Do not Stop 'Til You Get Enough is my favorite song. It is you who was the producer. Jones: Brad and I were smoking Marlboro and at a certain point I hear he hums the melody of Human Nature. Friedman: It's Human Nature? Jones: Yes. We already had Thriller and Billie Jean. Then PYT, Human Nature and Beat It. I said what I wanted ... something dark and rock and roll. It is what it is anyway. He chose the songs, we all went home to Hayvenhurst to refine and that's it. When you have a song like Billie Jean, it has three chords, and that is a kaleidoscope of colors. That's what a producer does. As a filmmaker. He assembles all in one package. Friedman: And that African passage of Wanna Be Starting Something? It is you who found it? Jones: No it's Michael who found it. It came from the Soul Makossa Manu Di Bango song. When I was in Paris it was number 1. I said to Michael. He said, "But I need it!". I told him it belonged to di Manu Di Bango. Well ... I do not know ... Friedman: The best songs are not all about Thriller, Man In The Mirror is incredible. Jones: It’s on Bad, it's a beautiful ballad. This is a process. An endless process. You have to have good judgment. Much love and trust. When we say to artists such as Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles to jump without a net you better know what you're talking. They do not play. I was ready for that. I’ve done this since I was 13 years old. It is better not to miss because they scrutinize like hawks”.
Quincy Jones talks Michael Jackson with Roger Friedman 75
Quincy Jones has mostly given an artistic direction to Michael, and above all, he had the best contact of all Hollywood MJ needed. He made sure that Michael would work with the best of the best, even if Michael did not need him from a musical point of view and I give you the proof with this picture: I would add that in 1978, Michael had not yet recorded "Off the wall", but he released together with his brothers a true craftsmanship work, the Destiny album, a real musical gem Disco / Soul / Funk. And yes, this precious jewel was done without Quincy, but as the saying goes “give to Caesar what is Caesar's', here too, the union with an outstanding musician, one of the greatest geniuses of the twentieth and XXI Century as Quincy Jones is, made them achieve the most successful album of all time: Thriller. Back to Weitzman’s statement. He also cited the engagement of two forensic musicologists – one by the Estate and one by Sony Music – both of whom reported that the vocals on the Cascio tracks were Michael Jackson’s and despite claiming on forensic musicologist is one of the “best-known” in the nation, he did not name them, and did not provide excerpts from or copies of the supposed findings. Sony’s “well-respected” expert was also not named. Instead in Ms. Serova’s court filing, there is the name of her primary forensic musicologist – Dr. George Papcun, PhD. Dr. Papcun is a seasoned expert in the world of sound. His expertise, according to his website, includes analysis of recordings, enhancing the intelligibility of recordings, determining whether recordings have been altered, speaker identification, memory for voices, voice lineups, using voice to determine speaker veracity and voice morphing. He has performed audio analysis for countless high-profile clients and cases including the CIA, the Secret Service, the NSA, the Trayvon Martin case, Rodney King case, O.J. Simpson case, and on a Paula Abdul recording. So here we have two main reasons of why fans must continue to fight: shed light on this story and find a way to widely show this scam to the world. For a matter of transparency, Sony/Estate should have released the demos and the remix versions (as it happened with Xscape) to give us the option to choose and meet with original material. 76
These kind of sound “attentions” are usually adjusted in the studio during the first initial sessions. Michael worked very much in advance, and according to his collaborators, he used to arrive in the studio and ready to "break the house.” Always! Michael recorded the demo of “We are the world” in his home studio in Encino in 1985, and he did it very quickly, as we can understand what Lionel Richie said in an interview. However if I go through the Cascios songs, I see no value. The record’s disturbing to the extent that we do NOT hear the real work Michael left us. MJ did not have a say, of course…If anyone would touch a Van Gogh's painting he would have left unfinished, everybody would hate just the idea. Here it’s the same and maybe more painful because there is this weird feeling of an impersonator’s voice borrowed, thinking we, fans, believe it. I see nothing for this album, no collectors, no press, no PLV, nothing. (the same feeling is for xscape). Who will remember this abortive, badly mixed, album with also 3 shameful tracks? No one. So .. I still expect that the estate offers us something worthy of the musical legacy he left us. We have to remember that “Hold My Hand” was recorded in 2007, and Michael's voice sound exactly as our old very much Michael Jackson of the old time! And also the Cascio songs have been recorded in the same year and….. Jason Malachi ‘s “Mamacita” is the test. Seriously, do you think Michael is the only artist to ever have a posthumous album with fake songs?? No, there were also people like Brassens, but those songs were reported as interpreted by Brassen’s musician. Actually a test which did not work very well: INSERT THE COINS! WELL…TRY HARD AGAIN!
77
Let’s try to summarize all the elements we have on both sides:
1) PRO FAKE - People do not recognize MJ on the songs -Several family members do not recognize MJ -Possible disagreement between John Branca and John McClain - We have incredible comparisons with Malachi voice - No concrete proof after 5 years since they realize and related beginning of the controversies of the authenticity of these Cascio songs - Cascio interests: obviously financial 2) PRO AUTHENTICITY -MJ Spent 4 months in the Cascio home in 2007 - MJ already worked in the Cascio’s studio since "Angelikson Productions" is credited on Thriller25 -Dileo said that MJ had recorded with the Cascios -Friedman (handling with kit gloves: actually I do not take seriously anything he says but …I make an effort to be objective) said that Cascio provided the pages containing the song lyrics, annotated by the hand of MJ -The Cascio have always been very close MJ friends and have never betrayed him when he was alive. -several former MJ employees + 2 experts (we do not know who they are but…) authenticated the songs. -the songs have been created by MJ because have been filed to copyrights dept. immediately after MJ death.
-Interest on Cascio side: If these songs were created during the time MJ was alive, what interest to make false songs they would never be used? Who could guess that MJ was going to die so soon ... -Interest of the Estate and Sony: apparently none! It’s not 12 average to mediocre songs that it will change anything in the MJ legacy management, plus the risk to publish false songs, it’s big compared to the expected benefit. So … there are enough points to still leave the door open to other explanations ... There is still so much to clarify and I’m pretty curious to hear from those so called “insider”, who think to know everything and try to re-write MJ history, to explain to me the following points: -Did the Estate intend to deceive the fans from the beginning? -How and why did Sony purchase these songs? What was their level of consciousness? - Why did so many professionals lie and agreed to participate in this scam? We can make assumptions about these questions but I do not think we can close the matter as these points have not been clarified. Truth is that the subject does not inspire too many people to speak openly. These kind of things are totally banned in many English-speaking forums. If by “mistake” someone talks about a possible fraud, they are immediately banned or censored. Long live to freedom of expression! We cannot even say what we think now! What a shame! Then... regarding to those who still “hear” Michael in the Cascio tracks, I think it would be better to politely SHUT UP once and for all… Would you like for me to resurrect hundreds of pages written on the subject since the release of “Michael”, the updates from Riley, the Cascios, Malachi, testimonies and opinions of the whole Jackson family, Quincy Jones, Phil technical analysis, Laurent Hopman, plus a countless of number of Bootles I have ...Shall I continue? 78
The Cascio tracks are almost complete uninteresting productions, even if I have to admit that the “Keep Your Head Up”, instrumentations, lyrics, theme and the choirs fit very well to the voice of …Malachi at the end. I think all has told regarding the Cascio tracks. I just want to add the link of this very interesting blog: http://blog.tomwollaert.be/ post/12539718399/international-fraudday and a REAL a capella

IN RETROSPECT MICHAEL JACKSON 2005 TRIAL
APRIL TESTIMONIES 84
85
…Arvizo told the jury that as she was “held hostage” at the Country Inn & Suites in Calabasas, she made only a few phone calls and spoke in code, quickly, “dropping clues” about her situation. In truth, she made 12 calls on Feb. 27 from her room. Four of them were to her kids’ school, three were to her best friend, Azja Pryor — fiancée of comic Chris Tucker — two were to her parents and one was to her then-boyfriend, now her husband, U.S. Army Maj. Jay Jackson. On Feb. 28, she called Pryor twice. She spoke to her boyfriend three times. She spoke to her parents once and called Neverland once.On March 1, Arvizo managed to get seven calls out to the boyfriend, one call out to Pryor and two to her parents. And on March 2 there were three calls to the boyfriend, two more to the parents and one to a local skin-care specialist named Elizabeth Murray. As with June Chandler, the mother of the boy 1993 allegation, there are a lot of issues clouding the waters, including unspoken complicity, greed, mutual manipulation, betrayal, and did I mention greed? Arviso testified that associates of Jackson were not pleased with her performance on the rebuttal video. “I’m a poor actress,” she said, to which Mesereau replied, “Oh, I think you’re a good one,” for which the judge scolded Mesereau for unprofessional conduct.Mesereau and the woman spoke over one another like a bitter married couple (ooh, there’s an idea), prompting Judge Rodney Melville to stop testimony repeatedly to instruct both to get it together. He asked the woman to stop babbling like a freak about matters unrelated to the questions she was asked. Mesereau and Arviso disputed each other on everything, even about the treatment she received at a Los Olivos salon shortly before she claims to have escaped from Neverland. “I’m telling you there was only a leg wax.” Arviso pointed at Jackson seated at the defense table: “He has the ability to choreograph everything.”“And how about you?” Mesereau retorted.
Why aren't the parents on trial? Family’s alleged imprisonment shopping list at the Country Inn & Suites in Calabasas:On the day they arrived in Calabasas, the Arvizos’ “kidnapping” began with dinner at the Outback Steak House ($131) [using Jackson associate Marc Schaffel’s credit card]. The next day, Feb. 26, 2003, this welfare mother, who also received food stamps, hit Banana Republic ($415) Wilson’s House of Leather ($127) Pacific Sunwear, The Gap Jockey, Anchor Blue ($454) Robinsons-May Company, Abercrombie & Fitch, Jeans Outlet ($430) and a Ralph’s supermarket ($127 for cosmetics and liquor). The family dined at the tony Black Angus steak restaurant in Woodland Hills ($175). The next day Arvizo continued to eat her way through Jackson’s money at Foot Locker ($85), stopped again at RobinsonsMay and made one more trip to Anchor Blue. On Feb. 28, she had a manicure and pedicure ($51) and she and all three kids also got haircuts. The next day was March 1, and she hit the Topanga Canyon Mall and Anchor Blue again before taking in a showing of the movie “Old School” (concessions $32, dinner at Johnny Rockets $26). The family also consumed quantities of Baskin-Robbins ice cream that day.On March 2, she returned to Robinson-May ($71 for “night repair and lipstick”), spent $171 at Champs Sports and grabbed a Starbucks coffee. 86
APRIL 1ST "I have never been asked to file any lawsuit against Michael Jackson" on behalf of this accuser, attorney Larry Feldman said. But during crossexamination, Feldman allowed that the boy, now 15, could bring a civil suit at any time until he turns 20. Defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. has argued that the family is trying to wrangle money from Jackson. Feldman also testified that in 1993 he represented a boy, then 13, who accused Jackson of molesting him. He said the case was settled in the accuser's favor; the settlement figure has been reported to be $20 million. Feldman acknowledged that, as part of the terms of that settlement, Jackson never admitted wrongdoing. He began researching the case, he said, and sent the family to Beverly Hills psychologist Stan Katz to "figure out what was happening." Katz testified earlier this week that he interviewed the boy in May 2003. The prosecution contends that in early 2003, Jackson gave the boy alcohol and molested him at his Neverland Ranch.Feldman said he and Katz then went to the head of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, though the county did not take a report. What did he do then? Sneddon asked. "I called you," Feldman said. Toward the end of the day's proceedings, former Jackson employee Jesus Salas took the stand. He testified that he worked for Jackson first as a grounds maintenance supervisor and more recently as the manager of Jackson's residence on the ranch, but that he left in June 2003. "There was some things that I didn't like about how things were running there," Salas said, explaining his departure from Neverland. "It was a lot of stress." Before dismissing jurors for the weekend, Judge Rodney S. Melville advised them to drive up a particular highway to see the "wildflower displays." He said he'd seen them recently and "it's just a nice way to relax," Melville said.Asked after court if he, too, would go to visit the wildflowers, Jackson said: "Perhaps." 2005 April 3, MJ Rally - Airport Radisson Hotel in Santa Maria, CA. Michael celebrates his daughter Paris 7th birthday at Neverland .Michael Jackson has spoken out again. This time he used a fan rally and a speakerphone to communicate with his supporters. The singer's surprise phone call came in the middle of a concert, dubbed Many Nations, One Voice, and attended by about 400 fans. "Thank you so much for your love and your prayers and your gifts," Jackson said. "God and the truth are on our side. We will be victorious." The fans were in heaven. They screamed at the phone: "We love you, we love you." The chanting soon became more raucous with shouts of "Sneddon sucks, Sneddon sucks" - a reference to District Attorney Tom Sneddon, who is leading the prosecutions case against the singer. Jackson ignored it and finished his two-minute call with: "Have fun and keep dancing and God bless you and I love all." Early on Monday morning, the fans plan to dress all in white for a march on the courthouse and candlelight vigil. "I hope Michael sees us and I hope Michael cries tears of joy," said Sam Davidson, a 21-year-old fan from London. "That would be mission accomplished for me." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdCqaBqVunM 87
April 4 : Michael goes to court with Katherine & Joe. Jesus Salas is cross examined. The next witness is Jason Francia. Back at Neverland, Michael Is welcomed by many fans who led by Karen Faye have decorated the ranch gates with rose petals. To thank them, he invites them to his home where they meet Prince, Paris & Blanket + get each a signed box set of Michael's Ultimate Collection! https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=ZiVSpdqNOU0
April 5 The mood has changed in the courtroom. The laughter has stopped. When Jason Francia, a 24-year-old car parts salesman, almost broke down on the witness stand, you could hear a pin drop. He appeared to be haunted by the memory of something terrible in his childhood. He choked back tears and asked the judge for a break before continuing with his story. If he is to be believed, he was sexually abused by Michael Jackson on three occasions. Most legal and media observers have described his performance as potentially devastating for Michael Jackson. He is a God-fearing young man, recently married and deeply involved with the church. He was asked by the prosecutor about the alleged abuse: "Who was the first person you told about it?" "Probably God," he responded. In this largely conservative community, it must have been a message that resonated with the jury. It certainly sent a lightening bolt through the courtroom. Yet 24 hours later, his mother came across as vague and unconvincing. Under cross examination, she acknowledged receiving an out-of-court settlement - reportedly $2m (ÂŁ1.06m) plus a $20,000 (ÂŁ106,000) payment from a TV show to talk about Michael Jackson. What is the jury to make of that? The singer's argument that this is all about money once again appears plausible.
88
April 6
Rumours are flying around that some of the jurors have been overheard talking
about the case outside the courtroom. It has been reported that three members of the media spotted the jurors discussing the trial. They are not supposed to talk about the evidence until formal deliberations start. The matter has apparently been reported to the judge. It may turn out to be nothing. But if the judge considers it to be a serious case of juror misconduct, it may result in a major upheaval on the jury panel. There could be another call for a mistrial. The trial is currently adjourned until Thursday. The report suggesting jurors have been talking about the case outside the courtroom has been dismissed by a court official as "an unsubstantiated rumour". According to Darrel Parker: "Judge Melville is aware of the report and there is no investigation." A story that jurors were overheard mocking a witness first emerged on the internet and was also carried by US TV and radio. Meanwhile Michael attends the funerals of his old criminal lawyer Johnnie Cochran .
April 7:
Ralph Chacon gave graphic evidence at the trial in California. But defense lawyers
attacked his credibility, painting him as a bitter ex-employee. Defense lawyers painted both witnesses as disgruntled employees who had both unsuccessfully sued Mr Jackson for wrongful dismissal. Chacon, who first mentioned the alleged assaults when being questioned under oath in 1994, said he did not report the incident to police as he did not think he would be believed. During crossexamination, Mr Jackson's lawyer Tom Mesereau accused Mr Chacon of trying to extort the star. He said Chacon, who worked for Mr Jackson between 1991 and 1994, had become bitter after losing a lawsuit against Mr Jackson for wrongful dismissal. Mr Mesereau said Mr Jackson had countersued and Mr Chacon was ordered to pay more than $1m in legal costs and damages, as well as $25,000 for stolen property. Former maid Adrian McManus testified on Thursday that Mr. Jackson had routinely shared his bed with three boys. She said she was also concerned by Mr Jackson's behaviour toward the actor Macaulay Culkin. "I saw Mr Jackson and Macaulay by the library," she said. "Mr Jackson was kissing him on his cheek, and he had his hand kind of on his leg, kind of on his rear end." The defense asserted that Mr Culkin has repeatedly stated he was never molested. Untruthful deposition: Ms. McManus said she had also once witnessed the singer touching the genitals of the same boy Mr. Chacon said he had seen showering with Mr Jackson. Under cross-examination she said she had lied in a 1993 court deposition when she reported she had not seen any inappropriate behaviour by Mr. Jackson at Neverland. She claimed Mr. Jackson threatened to report her to her superiors. Defense lawyer Thomas Mesereau pointed out Ms. McManus was part of the lawsuit filed against Mr. Jackson for unlawful dismissal, which was thrown out for being fraudulent and malicious 89
April 8: Another “prior bad acts” witness of the prosecution was Phillip LeMarque. LeMarque who worked for MJ at Neverland for about ten months beginning in 1991. After they left Neverland they opened a restaurant in Encino, but it went bankrupt and at the time when the Chandler allegations went public they were heavily in debt. Later in the 1990s they went into the pornographic website business. LeMarque claimed that on one occasion he witnessed Jackson put his hand into Macaulay Culkin’s pants. Though LeMarque claimed he was so shocked by the sight that he almost dropped the French fries he was about to serve, he never bothered to report to authorities what he had allegedly witnessed. In actuality, even after the Chandler allegations went public in 1993 he and his wife did not turn to authorities but tried to sell their story to tabloids.
April 11: The prosecution keeps running out of witnesses. Today, and last Friday, the jury went home early because there was no-one else waiting in the wings to put on the witness stand. It may be a sign that for all the months of pre-trial hearings, this case is suffering from a lack of preparation by the prosecution team. The lawyers sometimes appear to be fumbling around with witnesses that are unprepared for their questions and often give testimony that not only takes the prosecution by surprise but favours the defence.Today, prosecutor Gordon Auchincloss struggled to get Michael Jackson's former PR guy, Bob Jones, to say he had seen the singer lick the head of Jordy Chandler in the early 1990s. That is clearly what he expected the former communications chief to testify. But on the witness stand, Mr. Jones said: "I don't recall anything a b o u t licking." O o p s . Another point to Michael Jackson. 90
April 14
The mother of this teenage accuser told the court
yesterday that the singer and his associates persuaded her that her family was in mortal danger from "killers" after the broadcast of the Martin Bashir documentary, Living with Michael Jackson. Frequently breaking down in tears, she told the court that she had seen Mr. Jackson lick her son's head "over and over" and that the family had been held against their will at the singer's Neverland ranch. Janet Arvizo said that in the wake of the documentary Mr. Jackson had summoned the family to take part in a Miami press conference. The 46-year-old singer and his associates, she said, told her that killers were looking for her children and they would only be safe if they did what he said. "He spoke to all three of my kids," she told the jury. "He spoke in a very normal way, in a male voice, telling us that we were in
April 12: Janet Jackson is expected to take to the witness stand on Wednesday. Not Janet, famous sister of Michael, but Janet Arvizo - the mother of 15 year old Gavin who says he was sexually abused by the singer. Ms Arvizo is now married to Major Jay Jackson, hence the new surname. It is another bizarre twist to this story that you simply could not dream up. There has been some doubt over whether Janet Jackson (nee Arvizo) would appear in court at all. The prosecution has reportedly asked that Michael Jackson's defence be prevented from asking the mother any questions about welfare fraud. However, the jury has already been told by District Attorney Tom Sneddon that the mother "obtained welfare funds when she wasn't entitled to them. She's going to tell you that, and she's going to admit that." It will be another tense day in court.
April 13 Michael goes to court with Katherine. Jay Jackson is cross examined. He is followed by his wife Janet Arvizo Jackson who pleads the 5th amendment to avoid questions about her welfare fraud.
91
danger, that he was a father figure, that he knew what to do in this situation because he had read hundreds of books on psychology."But the press conference never took place, she said, and on their return flight to California she witnessed Mr. Jackson licking her son's head as he slept."I believed you," she said, pointing at Mr. Jackson sitting barely 15ft from her in court. Dressed soberly in a pink trouser suit and unrecognisable as the person seen by the jury in a video shown on Tuesday, the mother took the stand midway through the morning to declare: "My name is Janet Jackson."Ms. Arvizo changed her name last year following her marriage to another man surnamed Jackson. Asked by the prosecution attorney Ronald Zonen whom she understood the "killers" to be, the former Ms. Arvizo replied, "Him [pointing at Mr Jackson], all of them ... they were the ones who ended up being the killers."Her testimony was marked by a tendency to ramble and to direct personal comments at Mr. Jackson. While prosecutors struggled to restrict her testimony to the points under examination, the defense was happy to let her talk. Ms. Arvizo, a key witness for the prosecution, almost did not testify. The trial was thrown into confusion the morning when she told the judge she would not answer questions about her financial probity. She took the fifth amendment under which witnesses do not have to answer questions that might incriminate them. The judge, Rodney Melville, assented, ruling that she could testify on some matters but not others. Some observers believe that the decision may make any conviction of the singer extremely vulnerable on appeal. The defense alleges that Ms. Arvizo was engaged in fraudulently obtaining welfare payments.
April 15:
The mother of the alleged victim, Gavin, is proving to be the
most memorable and entertaining witness so far. She cannot resist blurting out any thought that comes to her mind. While trying to explain that she was acting in the so-called rebuttal video, Ms. Arvizo suddenly snapped: "You are not going to call Halle Berry and say, 'Are you Catwoman?'" Everyone chuckled. Sadly for Ms. Arvizo, the courtroom was laughing at her, rather than with her. It is for the jury to decide whether her outbursts are truly spontaneous or part of some ill-thought out act to secure the conviction of Michael Jackson. Her line that "Neverland is all about booze, pornography and sex with boys" bore an uncanny resemblance to comments District Attorney Tom Sneddon made in his opening statement: "The private world of Michael Jackson reveals that instead of cookies and milk, you can substitute wine, bourbon and vodka... it's not children's books, but visits to internet porn sites." Michael Jackson's defense had been looking decidedly shaky, but the unpredictable Janet Arvizo may have thrown the singer a lifeline. She has been one of the most compelling witnesses so far. She has also proven to be a loose cannon and could end up being disastrous for the prosecution. She rarely gives a straight answer to defense lawyer Thomas Mesereau's questions - and has often chosen to respond using a repetitive array or words and phrases. Her favourites have been: "Zero." "Yes, this is correct." "It never happened." "It's burned inside my memory." "I've learned things now." "I don't understand what he's saying." "I'm still nobody." "Money doesn't buy happiness."
April 16 Mesereau finishes Janet's cross examination. The next witnesses are her mother Maria Ventura, Michael Davy & Janet Williams. The grandmother of the teenage accuser in the Michael Jackson child molestation case testified yesterday that when her grandchildren returned from the singer's Neverland ranch, "those kids who came were not my grandchildren. They wouldn't even speak to me." She told the court in Santa Maria she had always maintained a close relationship with her three grandchildren, but they had changed. During that time she had been assailed by defense attorney Thomas Mesereau, who attempted to depict her as unreliable and delusional.
April 20
Former security guard Brian Barron testified at the pop star's
child molestation trial that a notice once was posted in a guard station saying Jackson's young accuser was not to be allowed to leave the estate. But the prosecution witness, Brian Barron, also said under defense questioning that it would have been appropriate to keep child guests on the estate if their parents weren't present and that guards probably would not let any children leave if they were unsupervised.

Michael goes to court with Katherine. Cross examination of Brian Barron then Judge Melville hears several motions without Michael & the Jury. 92
April 25
in her own legal tangles. Montgomery was testifying only after being granted immunity from prosecution in a related matter. She is part of an FBI investigation that seeks to learn who secretly videotaped Jackson and his former attorney on a private jet flying from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara on the day Jackson returned to California and surrendered to sheriff's deputies in November 2003. Montgomery maintained Tuesday that she had no knowledge of the videotaping, but said she had been interviewed by FBI agents. On Monday, her attorney said in court that he was concerned about her testifying -- with or without immunity -- because she could face charges. Montgomery also said that she had filed a civil suit against Jackson seeking $50,000, to pay for that flight and other expenses she says Jackson owes her. In turn, Jackson and his former defense attorney, Mark Geragos, are suing Montgomery and others over the secret videotapes. Also appearing in court Tuesday was Jackson's "personal director of photography," Hamid Moslehi, who shot publicity and documentary photos and videos of Jackson from 1996 until 2003. Moslehi said he was hired by the Jackson camp to gather archival footage and shoot new interviews for the so-called "rebuttal documentary" that Jackson put together to counter the Bashir documentary. Titled "The Footage You Were Never Meant to See," it aired on the Fox network. Moslehi described the long night he spent arranging the videotaping of Jackson's accuser and his family. At first, Moslehi said he went to Neverland ranch in rural Santa Barbara County, where the children were staying. But the accuser's mother was in Los Angeles and balked at appearing on tape. "At the beginning she was not happy to do this rebuttal video," Moslehi testified. The mother complained, Moslehi said, that the Bashir documentary had "turned her world upside down" and that she and her family were being pursued by media. Eventually, that same night, the mother agreed to do the interview, but when Moslehi prepared to take her children to his own home to do the interview, Jackson's ranch manager told him the children "were not allowed to leave the property." However, they were not stopped. At his home, Moslehi set up his equipment in the midnight hours, and later the accuser's mother appeared with some of Jackson's associates (including his private investigator), but she then wrangled with them over a release form or a contract -- Moslehi was not sure which -- before she eventually consented and was taped. Moslehi said the rebuttal project was essentially done "to make Mr. Jackson
Now Mr Jackson's lawyers are bickering between
themselves. An intriguing subplot to this extraordinary trial has been developing all day. Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman has been sacked by the singer's lead attorney, Thomas Mesereau. The first sign that something was amiss came when Mr. Oxman was publicly humiliated in the courtroom. He was ordered by the bailiff to leave the lawyers' area in the well of the court and take a seat in the public gallery. Then, at close of play, in the car park, he was subjected to what looked like very public dressing down by finger-wagging Mr Mesereau. A short time later, a document announcing Mr. Oxman's "Notice of Disassociation" to the case was posted on the court's website. We do not know why they have fallen out - but it has been obvious to any courtroom observer that the two lawyers have been at loggerheads for weeks. Mr. Oxman, who was forced to sit behind his colleagues, was often dismissed by a flick of the hand when he tried to get in on a conversation. But he always had the ear of Michael Jackson and appeared to be close to the singer's parents. It looks like the beleaguered pop star has lost a friend in the courtroom.
April 26
In court Cynthia Montgomery testified that Jackson
business associate Marc Schaffel "wanted one-way tickets." But a Brazilian visa requires a round-trip ticket, so the Las Vegas travel agent arbitrarily picked a return date. Cost of the four seats: $15,092. And that was for coach. The testimony from Montgomery was meant to bolster prosecution charges that the boy, now 15, and his family were falsely imprisoned by Jackson and his team. The prosecution alleges they wanted the family away from the media, and to participate in a public relations rebuttal to the documentary by British journalist Martin Bashir. The trip to Brazil never happened; there was "a change in plans," Montgomery testified. The mother of Jackson's accuser told jurors earlier in the trial that Jackson warned her that her family was being threatened and that he would "protect us from these killers."In court Tuesday, prosecutors produced the airline reservations to Brazil that Schaffel had ordered. Montgomery also testified that she routinely booked private jets for Jackson and his entourage and that part of his passenger profile included wanting white wine served to him in Diet Coke cans on flights. One of the flight attendants who routinely served Jackson "told me that Mr. Jackson had requested that his wine be put into soda cans," Montgomery said, offering evidence to support earlier testimony that Jackson drank alcohol from soda cans; children visiting with him had done the same, other witnesses have testified. But as with other witnesses in the trial, Jackson defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. in his cross examination let jurors know that Montgomery was engaged 93

look good." He also testified that he overheard Schaffel say to someone on the telephone, "We have to get them out of the country." Moslehi, is engaged in civil litigation with Jackson. At one point, he said, Jackson owed him $250,000 for past services. Some of that money has been paid, Moslehi said, but not all. Plus: Moslehi was promised a cut of the profits on the rebuttal documentary, he says, by two of Jackson's former managers. And those managers? Mesereau said in court that they had stolen close to a million dollars from Jackson.
April 27:
Debbie
Rowe was supposed to be the dynamite witness at the end of the prosecution's case. She ended up exploding in their faces. At one point, upon being informed by defence lawyer Thomas Mesereau that the Santa Barbara sheriffs had monitored her phone calls, she looked at the prosecutors and blurted out: "Damn you guys. You never share anything. Did you bug my phones?" Debbie Rowe was hot-headed and angry. Angry, that is, at everyone but Michael Jackson
Debbie Rowe's appearance lived up to the hype - but
she took us all by surprise. She seems to have flipped. That's what the lawyers call it when a witness for one side turns out to be better for the opposition. There was a palpable tension in the courtroom when Deborah Rowe Jackson, as she called herself, walked in. After a few loving glances at her ex she was soon sobbing on the witness stand. She came across as still being besotted by her former husband. At one point, her voice cracking with emotion, said she, "he's still my friend". She said she was neither scripted nor paid to appear on the so-called rebuttal documentary for Michael Jackson. Surely that was not what the prosecution wanted to hear. But maybe it was. Maybe the tactic is to build up Debbie as such a loyal pal of the singer that when she does go for the jugular, the jury will have no choice but to believe her. She was on the witness stand for only 35 minutes on Wednesday and there is clearly a lot more to come. The day ended on a cliff-hanger. Ms. Rowe was just about to explain why she lied in the rebuttal interview when the judge sent everyone home for the day.
She doesn't appear to blame him for anything. Having described the singer's associates as "opportunistic vultures", she was asked by Mesereau who else she considered to be a vulture. She paused,
smiled and asked: "If it's a personal opinion, does it count?" The prosecution objected and the judge jumped in. "It sounds like she's got a long list," he said, before sustaining the objection. Pity, because it would have been an interesting list. Debbie Rowe is an angry woman - but probably not as angry as the prosecutor that decided to call her as a witness. She was a disaster for them. 94
April 29:
Prosecutors in the Michael Jackson child molestation trial were handed a small defeat when the judge barred testimony
from a journalist who said he may have heard one of the singer's aides speak of the alleged victim's family "escaping" from Neverland. But they won a minor victory when the judge agreed that prosecutors could show jurors two books filled with photos -- some nude -- of young boys. "Boys Will Be Boys" and "The Boy: A Photographic Essay" were seized by police during a raid of Jackson's Neverland ranch in 1993.The "escaping" testimony was important to prosecutors because it would have bolstered their allegation that
Jackson held his then-13-year-old accuser and his family at Neverland against their will. Jackson also is charged with conspiracy in the alleged captivity, as well as giving liquor to a minor. But after a hearing outside the presence of the jury, Santa Barbara Superior Court Judge Rodney S. Melville concluded that the testimony from Ian Drew, an editor for Us Weekly, would have been of dubious value. Melville held the hearing to determine how much of Drew's testimony would be admissible under California's shield law. Under the law, journalists can not be compelled to reveal confidential sources or answer questions in court about information they have not published. Just days from wrapping up their case, prosecutors wanted jurors to hear just one thing from Drew. "The Boy" apparently was a gift from a fan named Rhonda, who inscribed it to Jackson "with hearts, XXXXOOOO" in 1983. "Boys Will Be Boys" was inscribed by Jackson. "Look at the true spirit of happiness and joy in these boys' faces," he wrote. "This is the spirit of boyhood -- a life that I've never had and will always dream of. This is the life I want for my children." And the fact these prosecutors, with the help of their talking heads, now have to take legally obtained art books and turn it into something sinister just smacks of a non-existent case. This book is a testament to the beauty of innocence and to the human capacity the boy a photographic essay for recalling that beauty. To a boy, boyhood is timeless and eternal. There seems to be no tomorrow. Could these people or the children of these people be looking into filing a defamation lawsuit in the future? What prosecutors and their media whores - as some have harshly characterized them - fail to keep in mind is the sheer the boy a photographic essay lack of what was NOT found at Jacksons ranch. Lord of the Flies. The other is called "Boys will be Boys" published in the ah, the 1960s. To be clear, none of this is child pornography. But the prosecution wants the jury to believe otherwise. Shame on Tom Sneddon! 95

Percy Sledge - When a Man Loves a Woman (1966)
Percy Sledge
PERCY SLEDGE: THE WAY GOD PLANNED IT 98
Percy Sledge, the R&B singer whose soulful ballad of eternal love and rejection, “When a Man Loves a Woman,” topped the charts in 1966, died on Tuesday in Baton Rouge, La. He was 74. His death was confirmed by Artists International Management, which represented him. Mr. Sledge had liver cancer, for which he underwent surgery in 2014, Mark Lyman, his agent and manager, said. Mr. Sledge, sometimes called the King of Slow Soul, was a sentimental crooner and one of the South’s first soul stars, having risen to fame from jobs picking cotton and working as a hospital orderly while performing at clubs and colleges on the weekends.“I was singing every style of music: the Beatles, Elvis Presley, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Motown, Sam Cooke, the Platters,” he once said.
calist by singing in the local gospel choir. The music critic Dave Marsh has compared Mr. Sledge’s weighty, smooth wail to “the South itself, in all its bountiful, contradictory mystery.”
“When a Man Loves a Woman” was his first recording for Atlantic Records, after a patient at the hospital introduced him to the record producer Quin Ivy. It reached No. 1 on the pop charts in 1966 and sold more than a million copies, becoming the label’s first gold record. (The Recording Industry Association of America began certifying records as gold in 1958.) Raw and lovelorn, the song was a response to a woman who had left him for another man, Mr. Sledge said. He called its composition a “miracle.”
After he was discovered by Mr. Ivy in 1965 — patients at the hospital where Mr. Sledge worked “all told him, ‘You should make records,’ ” Mr. Lyman said — Mr. Sledge hit the studio in nearby Sheffield, Ala., an opportunity that left him scared and “shaking like a leaf,” he said. But having struck gold right away, Mr. Sledge, whose wide, gap-toothed smile never changed, spent much of the next 50 years recording and performing to international audiences, hitting the charts with songs like “I’ll Be Your Everything” well into the 1970s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, and his final album, “The Gospel of Percy Sledge,” was released in 2013.
An album of the same name was released that year, and three more studio albums for Atlantic followed in the 1960s: “Warm and Tender Soul,” “The Percy Sledge Way” and “Take Time to Know Her.” While Mr. Sledge never again reached the heights of his first hit, “When a Man Loves a Woman” had many lives: as an early highlight of the Muscle Shoals, Ala., music scene; as a movie soundtrack staple in the 1980s, heard in “The Big Chill” and “Platoon”; and in a 1991 cover version by Michael Bolton, which also topped the Billboard chart and earned Mr. Bolton a Grammy.
The next year Mr. Sledge played his final concert. “I just couldn’t keep him out there,” Mr. Lyman said. “He wanted to, but I couldn’t do it.” Mr. Sledge’s survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Sledge, and 12 children. His admirers in the industry, Mr. Lyman added, included Billy Joel, James Taylor, Bo Diddley and the E Street Band’s Steven Van Zandt, who enlisted Mr. Sledge to perform “When a Man Loves a Woman” at his wedding in 1982.
Although the song, which ranks 53rd on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest of all time, is credited to two of Mr. Sledge’s early bandmates, the bassist Calvin Lewis and the organist Andrew Wright, who assisted with the arrangement, Mr. Sledge said of the melody, “I hummed it all my life, even when I was picking and chopping cotton in the fields.”
Correction: April 14, 2015 An earlier version of this obituary misstated the Recording Industry Association of America’s original criterion for gold singles. When the gold award was introduced in 1958, singles were certified gold for selling a million copies, not 500,000. (The number was later changed to 500,000.)
Still, because he was not listed as a co-writer, Mr. Sledge never received royalties for “When a Man Loves a Woman” in any of its forms. “Worst decision I ever made. But I am not at all bitter,” he told Blues and Soul magazine, noting that he was only 25 at the time. “It was God’s will for me to give it to them. But if I had my time again, I wouldn’t do it. Because of my children.”

Navi - the tribute act good enough to perform for Michael Jackson himself - at Rhyl Article By Eryl Crump A reporter for the Daily Post. Eryl covers the county of Gwynedd, in particular north Gywnedd on the goings on a Caernarfon Magistrates and Crown Courts
His career highlight came when he was invited to perform at Michael Jackson’s 45th birthday party in Los Angeles.
The following day Navi was invited to visit Michael’s home, Neverland, and spent the day inside Neverland, visited Michael’s cinema, zoo, went on a few of his theme park rides and had a barbeque on the grounds.
Michael Jackson impersonator Navi is promising fans a thriller night when he brings his tribute show to Rhyl. Navi claims to be the most successful Jackson tribute artist in the world and his King Of Pop – The Legend Continues tour is set to take the Pavilion Theatre by storm on April 25. His career highlight came when he was invited to perform at Michael Jackson’s 45th birthday party in Los Angeles. The performance went down a storm and Navi was honoured and amazed to see Michael give a standing ovation. After the show, Michael told him: “That was amazing… Do you practice every day.” Talking about the experience Navi said: “To meet Michael was one thing, but to perform in front of the greatest entertainer of all time and to perform his songs was no easy feat and extremely nerve-wracking.”
The relationship continued and over a period of many years Navi was frequently hand-picked by Michael to work for him in several different ways including as a body double and decoy. Since Michael’s death, Navi has continued to work alongside the Michael Jackson Estate and in January 2010 he performed to a sell-out London O2 Indigo audience. The same venue where the “This Is It” concerts sadly never took place. Talking about the current tour, Navi said: “This is the reason I began performing my tribute - to represent Michael in the best possible way in cities all over the world. "We just hope that the fans enjoy our show and that we continue to spread Michael’s legacy.” The show starts at 7.30pm. Metro Detroit's arts education, more than 1,000 students from throughout the Metro Detroit are now participate in Mosaic Youth Theater's ensemble, intermediate training programs and first stage programs each year. The programs are designed to provide expert training, mentoring and opportunity to young actors, singers and stage technicians while fostering a culture of high expectations, active participation and acceptance that serves students in their lives beyond the stage. "Our young artists master challenging traditional choral selections and immediately transition to the iconic Michael Jackson songs with full choreography," Sperling said of the upcoming concert in a news release. "It's a true showcase of their immense talent and we are thrilled to present this to the region." The ensemble will also perform a daytime concert performed for eighth and ninth grade students from Montague and Whitehall Public Schools. The performance titled "Speak for Yourself," tackles subjects of race and prejudice and will include a talk-back with the performers. Both performances are made possible through financial support of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the Michigan Humanities Council. Tickets for each of these shows are $10 for adults and $5 for students. They are available at Whitehall City Hall or the door. Call 231-894-4048 or visitwww.howmetplayhouse.org for more information. Created by Raven Woods, writer, sometime journalist and all-around MJ fan. Raven does not claim to be an expert on Michael Jackson but states she’s just a fan who enjoys sharing her views and insights with others. I have found that writing about him has helped me get through the grief over his loss. It helps me to put things in perspective. And like many of you, I am seeking justice and closure for what happened to him, as well as hoping that eventually his name and legacy will be fully exonerated by the media. Link To Site

ADLLAW/CADEFLAW INITITATIVE The Stain of An Accusation: Can It Ever Be Removed?
THE STAIN OF AN ACCUSATION CAN IT EVER BE REMOVED?
Can the stain of an accusation ever be removed although the accused may have been exonerated in a court of law? Many people including myself do not think so and I’ll explain why. A rose is still considered a rose regardless of the specific names given to each class of roses. It still look like a rose. An accusation is a charge of wrongdoing; imputation of guilt or blame. A stain is defined as a cause of reproach; stigma; blemish:
Let’s talk about stains for a minute. It is possible to cover up the appearance of blood stains but is the stain really gone? I found one Reader’s digest article HERE http://www.rd.com/slideshows/howto-remove-blood-stains/ that gives us “8 Common Items That Remove Blood Stains”. The items include vinegar, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide (work only on fresh blood stains), cola, WD-40, cornstarch, talcum powder and cold salt water. Article also states blood stains are relatively easy to remove before they set but can be nearly impossible to wash out after 24 hours and this is the significant problem with the aftermath of a stain. From this article and perhaps many others we understand that it is possible to remove stains, especially blood, if we act quickly but the problem remains: The stain is still there although we cannot see it and it is possible for the stain to be uncovered via other means or methods.
A simulation of luminol at work: Before spraying luminol, there's no sign of blood. After spraying luminol, the latent blood traces emit a blue glow.
http://science.howstuffworks.com/luminol1.htm Then we have the chemical “Luminol” used by criminal investigators at violet crime scenes in hopes of discovering blood. Much of crime scene investigation, also called criminalistics, is based on the notion that nothing vanishes without a trace. This is particularly true of violent crime victims. A murderer can dispose of the victim's body and mop up the pools of blood, but without some heavy-duty cleaning chemicals, some evidence will remain. Tiny particles of blood will cling to most surfaces for years and years, without anyone ever knowing they're there. The basic idea of luminol is to reveal these traces with a light-producing chemical reaction between several chemicals and hemoglobin, an oxygencarrying protein in the blood. The molecules break down and the atoms rearrange to form different molecules (see Microsoft Encarta: Chemical Reaction for more information on chemical reactions). In this particular reaction, the reactants (the original molecules) have more energy than the products (the resulting molecules). The molecules get rid of the extra energy in the form of visible light photons. This process, generally known as chemiluminescence, is the same phenomenon that makes fireflies and light sticks glow. 106
Investigators will spray a suspicious area, turn out all the lights and block the windows, and look for a bluish-green light. If there are any blood traces in the area, they will glow. So now we consider the ill effect of the “Stain of An Accusation”. Remember Michael Jackson who seems to be a popular topic of conversation among admirers and skeptics. Many of his admirers are of the opinion or belief that if the accusations are ignored they will eventually disappear. I have to strongly disagree with that kind of thinking. Evil and negative thoughts are always present, though the evidence of it may remain dormant for long periods of time they are still there. Like blood stains may well go undetected to the naked eye they still exist. Accusations of child molestation is not something to take nonchalantly and I sincerely believe it to be a stigma that will linger and Michael Jackson knew that too. An excerpt from the following people.com article: In 2003 Jackson Faced Charges He Had Molested a Child. He Was Found Not Guilty, but His Reputation Never Fully Recovered. http://www.people.com/ people/archive/article/0,,20292704,00.html Indeed he seemed to emerge from the trial a broken man, the downward spiral of his life and career only accelerating. His friend Dr. Firpo Carr says that the singer, who spent his last years often traveling abroad and raising his children, continued to be tormented by the stain the accusations had left on his reputation. "It took a great toll on him," says Carr. "He never recovered from the trial. He never did." As Carr tells it, Jackson's planned comeback was not just about money but about some attempt at personal redemption. "That was part of the reason for these concerts: to prove himself again," says Carr, "to give something great to his fans, the show of all shows, and to have the comeback of all comebacks. This was so everyone would remember him for his music, not for the scandals. He didn't get a chance to do that. But that's what it was about." “Never Recovered” is the most significant phrase in
the excerpt above. That’s the after effect of the stain I speak of, the stain of a severely injured reputation that can never be repaired or removed. An accusation left unchecked causes the stain to enlarge its territory by way of ravenousness wolves. If the person being accused were living it would be up to them to address their accusers and still that may not halt the public indictments or remove the stain, but the possibility of defending oneself is greater. On the
other hand what about the deceased and who will defend them? Who will speak on their behalf? What can we use to remove that stain or to keep it from spreading further? Only the existence of an “Antidefamation Legacy Law” to first, protect and preserve the “Legacy of those Deceased” and second to protect the “Sanity of the family members or those left behind”. Why not bring about legislation which will include the deceased among those who, when defamed, can have the same legal protection as the living; by giving their family members a statute upon which to base a civil cause of action? We, The Anti-Defamation Legacy Law Advocates, see this initiative or law as any other; a possible deterrent for most and a tool for the more serious offenders. If a person is deceased nearly anything can be said or written about them. Even the non-famous can be targets which mean that we and our loved ones are at risk. Intentional defamation of a decedent does more than just hurt their survivor’s feelings; it can endanger their health and welfare through false public perception, judgments and actions taken. We hold dear our First Amendment rights, but there is nothing in our Constitution about bearing false witness as a legal right. Try as we have been doing for five years now we cannot do anything about the horrible stain that has been imputed to Michael but we can help his children and family by standing together in favor of this law. Will you support the Anti-Defamation Legacy Law (AdLLaw) Initiative by signing the petition and contacting your two United States Senators and the President? http://antidefamationlegacylawadvocates.org/ http://www.exploreforensics.co.uk/detecting-evidence -after-bleaching.html http://www.freestockimages.org/wp-content/ uploads/2010/10/coffee-stain-texture.jpg http://www.freestockimages.org/2010/10/03/free-stockimages-part-36-coffee-stain-textures/ “Alone we're just an "Echo" in the mountains but TOGETHER we are the "Mountains". We are asking for a bill that would make it unlawful to defame a person who is deceased. Slander and libel are not protected under the First Amendment while a person is living. The same protection should be extended to a person after they are deceased. The loved ones of someone who has passed on should not have to live with the continued defamatory stories and false accusations that can so easily be paraded as fact.

VINDICATION EFFORTS
Macaulay and Brett Barnes do NOT join Wade Robson’s lawsuit. CRUEL GAMES AROUND MACAULAY– April 16, 2015 by Vindicatemj (Helena) Macaulay Culkin was one of the three young friends of Michael Jackson who, alongside Wade Robson and Brett Barnes, testified in his defense at the 2005 trial. This automatically turned him into another target of MJ haters – in addition to Brett Barnes whom they are now harassing in an utterly relentless way (please see this post for details). Wade Robson’s supporters have surely tried their luck with Macaulay too, but something apparently went wrong as there are certain signs of failure and desperation noticeable among the harassers. They have to admit that Macaulay has ‘character’ and will hardly ever ‘betray’ Michael, and mind you, in their language the refusal to betray actually means his refusal to tell lies about MJ. In search for an explanation of Macaulay’s unwillingness to join Robson’s slander suit they naturally quote from a certain boy-lover forum whose arguments they fully share (while simultaneously trying to distance themselves from their views). Their explanation of Macaulay’s resistance is as follows: “One ‘boy-lover’ said that Mac Culkin would never tell because he had “character” — meaning he wasn’t a traitor like Wade, Jimmy, Jordie, Gavin, etc. The ‘boy-lover’ noted that he was “eternally grateful for such faithfulness and character” in certain boys who, “despite the many eventual boy defections which take place under societal pressure”, continue to have a “shred of decency” and not tell on their “erstwhile adult companions”.
Indeed, ‘character’ Macaulay Culkin does have, only not the kind these people imagine. A boy who at the age of
14 told his ultra-domineering father that he was quitting his successful career and was going in ‘retirement’ should have had much character to do it. And who also sought estrangement from his father and sorted out money matters with him a couple of years later. And is refusing to see him ever since. Indeed, despite his seemingly frail facade Macaulay Culkin is a hard nut to crack and is therefore capable to give MJ haters very much headache, and in a way these people don’t even suspect it. The so-called Wade Robson supporters evidently realize that it will be impossible to bring Macaulay over to their side and this is why they prefer to spread boy-lovers’ theories about him rather than handle him directly. However this doesn’t make Macaulay’s life any easier. Where small fry cannot bite some really big sharks come into play and make his life unbearable. Indeed, Macaulay is being harassed on a totally different level – tabloids and mainstream media never give him a moment of peace, keep tripping on him the way they did on Michael Jackson and constantly play wicked games around him. The stories spread about Macaulay in the media are extreme in their callousness as they regularly report that he has either “6 months to live” or has already died and several times too. No one will convince me that things like that “just happen” on their own, without someone conducting this well-tuned orchestra. All of it looks like a concerted effort on the part of the media and those who pull the strings of this campaign which is surely aimed at ruining Macaulay’s life and health. However the most surprising thing is that our cool “Home alone” character seems to have found a way to rebuff their attacks and has learned to cope with the problem in an absolutely fantastic way – he has begun to laugh at them and make fun of their stories. WATCHMAN ON THE WALL Let's Remember The Good Times I’m a master avoider and a seasoned side‐stepper, so it’s no surprise that up until now I’ve been able to miss all post‐mortem Michael Jackson music. Lumped into that category was “Love Never Felt So Good,” the “duet” with Justin Timberlake. In fact, so skilled at recognizing the first few chords I became (“nope,” my brain says. “This is NOT Rock With You.”), that I’d always managed to turn off the song before getting fully invested. Fast‐forward about three weeks ago when I received a Facebook message from a long‐lost friend: “You ran through my mind, love. A Michael Jackson song made me think of you.” Awww. Me: Which song? Him: Love Never Felt So Good. Oy. As co‐workers, Keith and I bonded over our status as outsiders. He as a gay man in a conservative Texas town and I, his best friend. We also bonded through our love for Michael Jackson. On July 7th, 2009, Keith and I watched as the world said goodbye to the King of Pop. And while office mates debated whether or not the coffin was real gold or if the Staples Center was at capacity, Keith and I were like a modern‐day Hansel and Gretel ‐ holding hands and holding back tears as we bid farewell to the pied-piper of our childhood. Daniel Levitin, a psychologist specializing in the neuroscience of music at McDill University in Montreal says on the topic, “We are using music to better understand brain function in general.” According to a study on the positive health benefits of music published on CNN.com in 2013, patients who listened to music had less anxiety and lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol than people who took anti‐ anxiety drugs. Meanwhile, the time had come for yours truly to face the music. I queued up Spotify, found “Love Never Felt So Good,” pressed play and steeled myself for the worst. I made it past the intro, then past verse one and before I knew it, I was humming and smiling through happy tears. For years, I was so caught up in finger pointing that I’d forgotten what it was all about. That beat, those gleefully ridiculous “woo‐hoo”s and “shamone”s and the moment when the music takes hold in your soul. That’s when maybe you pat your feet. Or smile a little. Or forget about that past due bill. So, can we take a breather from hating Conrad Murray and remember the reasons we fell in love with Michael and the music in the first place? Does it really matter anymore if he was a spiritual nomad who flirted with the dark arts? What matters is nobody can touch that on which God lays his hand and if His word never comes back void, He continues to speak through us through the music. At the conclusion of the research, Levitin remarked that, “there’s this unifying force that comes from the music and we don’t get that from other things.” He’s right. Me, my old friend Keith, and my new MJ fan fam will forever be united by the love of Michael Jackson’s music. And that never felt so good.

Francis #1 in Books Biographies & Memoirs ( J ) > Jackson, Michael Amazon USA 28, 29 May, 23 June + 2, 7 July 2013 (also an International Bestseller on Amazon) Hailed as the criminal trial of the century. Two years of speculation in the media. Wall to wall media coverage from 2003 to 2005, 2000+ accredited journalists, yet the defense case was invisible. The public were bombarded with salacious prosecution focused media commentary. On 13 June 2005 Michael Jackson was acquitted of 10 felony charges and 4 misdemeanors. Those disgruntled in the media, labelled the acquittal celebrity justice. If you want to find out the truth, start reading this book. This is a unique book looking at the trial testimony. It provides an indepth look at the trial from the first day. It offers the reader an insight into the case that was not provided by the media coverage in 2005.
