The Tulsa community has a history of making bold placemaking investments in its city. These include the BOK Center, the Guthrie Green, and the newly opened Gathering Place. The BOK Center is one of three investments, including the Cox Business Center and the City-County Library, that the city has made in the Arena District. Despite these civic investments, the Arena District remains fractured and disconnected from the rest of downtown and surrounding districts.
