The Wabash River Promenade intends to revive the city of Lafayette's marginalized riverfront land by pairing new developments with urban open space. The goal of the project is to provide a dynamic experience along the Wabash River atop a landmark built feature, which is highly architectural yet set within a natural landscape, highlighted by vegetation. Programmatic features include an elevated walkway, flexible seating, river overlooks, and small event spaces.
