Life Reflection Bruce Edward Washington, Jr., was born to Bruce E. Washington, Sr. & Cheryl Perkins on Tuesday, April
3, 1973 in Montclair, New Jersey. He was educated in the Montclair School System, where he graduated from Montclair High School. The oldest boy of ten siblings we all had a close bond with one another that
will never and could never be broken. Bruce enjoyed his family and the time we spent together. Friends, however, recalled him as one of 12 children, who grew up on New Street as a brash and hungry MC, who quickly established himself among the burgeoning hip-hop scene around Newark during the 1990s. Bruce
had developed a relationship with Yaki Kadai, a local rapper, who had close ties to Death Row Records star, Tupac Shakur. The two visited Shakur in jail in 1995, and the rapper agreed to sign him as part of The
Outlawz upon his release. Soon afterward, Washington appeared on Shakur’s classic album “All Eyes on Me,”
cementing his place in the pantheon of New Jersey rappers. In Montclair, he was the number one rapper that everybody respected & everybody wanted to be like; he had all the pretty girls. Fatal lived a lifestyle
worthy of his group’s name, “THE OUTLAWZ” before eventually becoming a parent and changing his ways. He released a collaborative album with Young Noble in 2006, and a number of Outlawz members organized
a reunion in 2010, releasing an album “Perfect Timing” a year later. Fatal had spent the last several years
living peacefully in Atlanta, balancing his touring schedule with ishing and spending quality time with his family & children.
Bruce departed this life on Friday, July 10, 2015 in Georgia. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, father,
uncle, cousin & friend. Bruce is pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather, Freddie Washington Sr. and his uncle, Kirk Washington.
