Student leaders inducted February was a busy month for Mount Morgan State High School leaders with two induction ceremories taking place. The Student Leadership Network Induction Ceremony took place at the Cathedral College on 11 February and then the Mount Morgan State High School on 19 February. The Rockhampton event was attended by 16 secondary schools and colleges in the region, to acknowledge and introduce the student leaders in each respective community. As part of the regional network of student leaders students were asked to commit to working together to better understand the essence of being a school leader. Mount Morgan State High School Students will strive to lead during the year by using the school motto, Non sibi sed omnibus (not for one, but for all) as a guide. Students involved were (pictured right) Bailey Catlin and Lanie Martin School Captains, Savannah Liebich School ViceCaptain and Brooke Passmore Student Council President as well as the Acting Principal Daniel Petersen. Celebrations at the Mount Morgan State High School also included the 109th School Birthday celebrations with the cake being cut by the School Captains. Golf Championship winners from Page 10
