Alexis Beaulieu alexismariebeaulieu@gmail.com @alexisbeaulieu1 http://www.wilhelmina.com/los-angeles/models/mainboard/women/1258232/alexis-beaulieu Country United States State / Region California/Florida Model Our readers would love to get to know you more Alexis. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you? I am 18 years old, I started modeling when I was 16. My home is in Florida. I am working in LA at the moment. Alexis, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? Of course I want to be a super model! How I started modeling? I always liked photography and I would always have my mom take pictures of me since I was like 3 years old. Then I started watching America's Top Model religiously! And the bug hit me!! When I was 16 years old, Wilhelmina had a pop up on Cocoa Beach, Florida on the beach for aspiring models, so I attended. They wanted me to visit the agency and when I did they signed me on the spot. Who is your inspiration in life Alexis? How do you keep inspired? My inspiration in my model life would be Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel. We all make mistakes Alexis, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague. A time I had wished I had handled myself different would be at a photoshoot where I felt like the photographer was pressuring me to be risque. The photos he wanted to shoot were not in my best interest and I felt very uncomfortable. The next day I asked him to please delete the images. Alexis ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs? I work with a model agency, Wilhelmina LA, and I let them advocate for me. My goal is to always deliver excellent work for the clients, so as to always to get repeat work from them. Please tell us Alexis, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model? As far as being strategic it all goes into day to day planning. I have a schedule I adhere to in order to accomplish all my goals for the work week. Alexis, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work. Oh my, I really do not have a time that I had to persuade someone to see things my way at work because it takes a team to achieve the required completion of a job. We all feed off each other and that usually smoothes out the whole process. Alexis please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why? OMG, this just happened! You might not think I am shy, but I am. I just shot my first commercial and for the whole week up to the day of the shoot I thought I would explode from worry. I am always nervous when I have to do something that I have never done before. My mom always tells me to feel the fear and do it anyway. Meaning, you are expected to be nervous but it never turns out negative like you imagine it will. After I completed the shoot, I was so proud of myself, the whole staff and production people all gave me compliments and told me what a great job I did. I was so happy! Alexis, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? I get very creative anytime I am in front of a camera. I just try to imagine what I look like through the lenses and go for it. What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model? If you have been told over and over that you should be a model or look like a model, you owe it to yourself to explore the career. It's not for everyone, but I have always wanted to model since I was 10 years old. Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for? My dream collaboration would be with Victoria Secrets and/or Pink! So if you can hook me up that would be awesome! I also would love to shoot for Guess, Wildfox, Brandy Melville, Lulu's, Nasty Gal, and Marc Jacobs, just to name a few :) Now for the best part Alexis! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work. Photo Credits: Photographer: Abe Bermudez
I THINK WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE IS THAT I AM YOUNG AND I WORK AS MODEL BESIDE I HAVE MY
CLOTHING BRAND WHICH CALLED DUCK DIVE. DUCK DIVE IS A TECHNICAL NAME TO AVOID HIGH WAVES DURING SURFING TERMS WHEN YOU HAVE A HARD TIME, YOU BETTER AVOID IT.
THAT WHAT MY BRAND’S NAME MEANS.
OH MY, I REALLY DO NOT HAVE A TIME THAT I HAD TO
PERSUADE SOMEONE TO SEE THINGS MY WAY AT WORK BECAUSE IT TAKES A TEAM TO ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED COMPLETION OF A JOB. WE ALL FEED OFF EACH OTHER, AND THAT USUALLY SMOOTHES OUT THE WHOLE PROCESS.
OMG, THIS JUST HAPPENED! YOU MIGHT NOT THINK I AM SHY, BUT I AM. I JUST SHOT MY FIRST COMMERCIAL, AND FOR THE WHOLE WEEK UP TO THE DAY OF THE SHOOT, I THOUGHT I WOULD EXPLODE FROM WORRY.
I GET VERY
CREATIVE ANYTIME I AM IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. I TRY TO IMAGINE WHAT I LOOK LIKE THROUGH THE LENSES AND GO FOR IT.

Jaylee

Photographer
Jaylee Davis portraitsbyjaylee@gmail.com @portraitsbyjaylee http://www.portraitsbyjaylee.com Country United States State / Region AZ Photographer ABOUT I think what puts me out there and aside from others is the fact that I am not much of a rule follower. I challenge myself daily to create art for me and tell myself that I don't need the whole world's approval. I like to remind my self of an art museum, some of the pieces are complex, some are very simple, some are hard to understand, and some not everyone likes. But the artist that created it believed in themselves, and they loved it, and that was enough to get them to where they ended up. Jaylee, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer? I started learning photography in high school and then ended up creating real work throughout my college years. I went to college for something completely different, but during college, I knew I didn't want to work a regular fast food job, so I started a business. Now two years later, this is everything but a "business". I used to call what I created a business but, now I call myself an artist. And that moment was the biggest turning point for me. The day I started believing in myself a lot changed. Who is your inspiration in life Jaylee? How do you keep inspired? I am inspired by other artists when I see other artists pushing themselves and creating work that is out of the comfort zone-I am inspired. I also get lots of inspiration from lyrics, music videos, movies, and books. I keep inspired by doing shoots for me. Shoots that aren't paid. Just shoots that I need for myself to represent certain emotions and things I am going through. I always feel refreshed after I complete a shoot " just for me". We all make mistakes Jaylee; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague. I think with all things in life; communication is key. Communication between everyone involved and communication of what is expected is always important. There are lots of examples I could give. I also think it is important to be fully prepared, to even be prepared in case your vision doesn't work out. Jaylee, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs? I am a very detailed orientated personal and I may or may not be able to get diagnosed with OCD if I went to a doctor. I have very strict deadlines that I set with myself. I also use lots of visual reminder such as to do lists and calendars. Please tell us Jaylee, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer? I think there is always a time where you can feel a shoot start to drift the way you don't want it to. I think it is important to stop at the moment and not let it continue to drift away. To speak up, take control, and redirect.
Jaylee, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I think it is hard for people to be in front of the camera, they aren't sure if they are doing what they are supposed to be doing and if they look alright. I think it is so important to encourage and keep in communication with the person in front of the camera, to prevent any self-doubt and problems arising. I think by showing them the back of your camera screen and giving lots of verbal praise you can keep the person in front of your camera persuaded to believe in and trust you as an artist they are working with. Jaylee, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why? There are many; I think the most important one was recent. I am finally starting to believe in myself, and I see the rewards of that overflowing. I submitted some of my work to a very very popular magazine thinking it was worth the shot and later that day I got a personal email from the editor in chief personally telling me how my work stood out to her. That is probably my proudest moment so far. Jaylee, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? Thankfully, I am almost always able to be creative with my work. I like to surround myself with the type of work that allows me to be creative, as it excites me and keep me inspired. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer? To create photographs that you love and not worry about others, to hustle hard and not give up until you reach your dreams, and to believe in yourself most importantly. Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for? I am not looking for any collaboration in specific, but I am open to them if it would be the right fit for me. Photo Credits: Photographer: Jaylee Davis. Cover photo 1 Model: Jay Moise. How do you stay inspired as Influencer? Fitness models around the globe such as Alan Valdez, Bremen Menelli We all make mistakes Oliver; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I don’t regret any mistakes from the past. I use them to learn and become a better person. I consider those mistakes as critical success factors, and I keep them always in y loop to remind me not to commit them again Oliver, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I am very responsible and still engaged in the current project Please tell us, Oliver, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? For me, the most important is to have a right balance between work (the source for living and doing all your project) and family and social life. My philosophy is work for living not living for work. Oliver, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Once my boss didn't understand why it was essential to implement a strategy in the market that I was proposing, I explained him the reasons why we needed to achieve it, the impact of doing it or not and how could be the results (sales impact) with this implementation. Everything step by step. After that, he gave me the approval for the implementation Oliver, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Influencer. When I participated in a mass campaign to fight for the LGBT rights during the pride month Collaborating with a recognized photographer of Mexico Oliver, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? When you are a brand leader, you need to be creative with all your proposals. The most challenging thing is when the market is not responding to your current strategies, and you need to get back, analyse everything again and develop a new way of solving the issue. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Influencer?* * You don’t need to pretend to be someone in a digital platform. You have to be yourself, express yourself and be yourself to transmit and communicate a sincere message to your audience. I love all forms of photography: child, family, fashion, beauty, glamour, landscape .. all of it. I especially love fashion editorial. Your Story I have always struggled with poor self-esteem and negative body image. When my daughter started middle school, she became very introverted and her confidence faded. I enrolled her in NWH Modelling and Self Improvement to help build her confidence. It became clear it would be a great help to me as well. As her confidence grew and she grew into a beautiful young woman, my love for photography did as well... it is a way for me to show people how healthy and beautiful they are. Now I am the in-house photographer for the modelling group. I work very hard to build young peoples' self-image and confidence. DANI MILLER AND MACKINZIE DAE, THE EPOCH ADVISORY Dani Miller and Mackinzie Dae, The Epoch Advisory dani@theepochadvisory.com @killadmilla @mackinzie_dae http://www.theepochadvisory.com Country United States State / Region California Creative Agency ABOUT Dani: My interest in public relations sparked when I was 16 years old, and I established a charitable organisation called Fashion Forward, which consisted of fundraising and awareness effort in support of a boarding school for children orphaned by HIV AIDS called Maru-A-Pula in Botswana, Africa. In my very first effort, I organized a fundraising fashion show, which generated approximately $40,000 and was covered by a variety of teen publications. I am a strategist by nature and experience. I recognize that the public relations industry commands creativity and innovation, dedication and hard work, the ability to think swiftly and strategically and to judge wisely, which is why I have always been drawn to the field. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business, specializing in Communications Advising with a 4.17 major GPA from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science in Public Service & Public Policy, specializing in Leadership and Management with a 3.97 major GPA from the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University, a minor in Political Science, and three certificates in Leadership and Ethics, International Studies, and Public Management and Administration. Then I attended law school at Pepperdine and attended the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution for a Masters in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Along with my journey, I’ve been the Director of Events and Marketing for the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, a Senior Talent Publicist at a boutique PR firm as well as many other positions in between. In May 2018, I was completely blindsided, as was every other employee that worked at the same small public relations firm as I, when on a Wednesday, just after the close of business, the owner called us all into his office and proceeded to clean house without very much explanation. Shocked and upset and fired for the first time ever, I did the only thing I knew, gather all of my resources and open my own firm. That’s how The Epoch Advisory began. Mackinzie: I enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 2008, and I served for five years. Afterwards, I went to business school and kept finding myself working in or around art creating digital content. Nu Dae was born while I was a trainer at Equinox with the mission of helping my clients realize that every day is a new day to do something different. This message translated when I was developing the mission for Nu Dae Productions in that every day affords us the impressive ability to create something out of nothing and as a result, on the backend, we aim to give creators an ability to tell their stories authentically, honestly, and openly. Our readers would love to get to know you more Dani. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? Dani: The dictionary definition of the noun “epoch” pronounced “epic” is “the beginning of a distinctive period in the history of anything.” We’re a creative boutique agency championing a personal approach to production and public relations in the Hollywood scene. We want to make a difference, and we strive to change the world for the better with every client we work with and any project we take on. Mackinzie: My Marine background has led me to have a very regimented way of going about things. It’s all a work in process though. Everyone works well in different ways, and we are still figuring out how to work most productively, but it’s evident through our work product that we are on the right track. Keeping communication lines open and free is one of the most important things in our business because being on the same page is what makes us so good at what we do. Dani, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Creative Agency? Mackinzie: The first time I ever heard Dani speak was at the beginning of the summer when she was interviewed on iHeartRadio. She was so passionate about everything she said, and I was really inspired by all of the things she stood for. She gave me the push I needed at the time I needed it to keep working hard at what I love. It just so happened that I was already in talks with The Dolan Twins with regards to producing their directorial debut and they had come to me with Cub Sport’s song and story. I wanted Dani on my side, so I asked her to be apart of my team. Dani: In May 2018, I was completely blindsided, as was every other employee that worked at the same small public relations firm as I, when on a Wednesday, just after the closing of business, the owner called us all into his office and proceeded to clean house without very much explanation. Shocked and upset and fired for the first time ever, I did the only thing I knew, gather all of my resources and open my own firm. That’s how The Epoch Advisory began. The dictionary definition of the noun “epoch” pronounced “epic” is “the beginning of a distinctive period in the history of anything.” We’re a creative boutique agency championing a personal approach to public relations in the Hollywood scene. We want to make a difference, and we strive to change the world for the better with every client we work with and any project we take on.
After Mackinzie and I joined forces, it was clear that we were a match made in heaven. It’s one thing to think that you and your team are doing a good job, but it’s another thing when others notice and attest to the good job you’re doing. For example, when location hosts and your crew are impressed and compliment you and your partner's teamwork. It certainly wipes away any doubts you may have had about working together. I think it was in the middle of this project when we realized that we were capable of anything and we decided to merge Epoch and Nu Dae. Who is your inspiration in life Dani? How do you stay inspired as Creative Agency? Dani: We think strategically. And we think creatively. I’m constantly attempting to connect all the dots, in way shape or form, that's where my inspiration stems from. I think we are really lucky to come from such diverse backgrounds because it allows us to see the same project from so many different angles and offer solutions that really reflect our collective experience. It’s really interesting to me because, at the heart of it all, Mackinzie and I are problem solvers and the beginning of any good business idea is the solution to a problem. Therefore, I think that our solutions are the backbone of what brings our and our clients’ ideas to fruition. Mackinzie: We have a mission. And that mission is to produce work that conveys our client’s messages in memorable, moving, unique ways. Ways that make us proud. I want to say that the ideas don’t just come to us, but really, they do. I say that in the humblest way possible… This project really opened my eyes to realize just how well Dani and I work together. At this point, I can truthfully say that all of the projects on our calendar are not only exciting because I’m confident in our abilities to get what needs to be done, done, but now I’m also confident that we can accomplish anything and we can do anything easily. We all make mistakes Dani; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? Dani: I am too trusting. I have wasted a lot of time and energy into trusting those I hire and decide to work with, but it’s very hard for me to create that boundary. Relationships are everything. With our company, one of my goals is to establish an open dialogue where mutual trust is key but doesn’t cross boundaries between personal relationships and business relationships. If mutual trust and mutual honesty don’t exist than relationships don’t exist. And if relationships, don’t exist then you’re all alone. I’m lucky that Mackinzie is someone I can trust. This trust stems from our ability to communicate, our mutual respect for one another and our deep-rooted loyalty. Without communication, there is no relationship. Without mutual respect, there is no worth. Without trust, there would be no future for our business. Mackinzie: Everyone fails. Dani and I both have. Sometimes we fail each other, but we quickly recognize the failure and learn from it and then work to find peace by re-establishing our equilibrium in our work product. Peace isn’t a state – it’s a choice, and you have to remake that choice every single day. It’s possible to get a sense of stability, a habit of peace, but it’s like an egg that’s balanced, spinning on its point: lose your momentum and then you’ve lost your equilibrium too. Dani ,How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? Dani: Mackinzie and I are both very hands-on. I think that because we are ultimately small by design and perfectionists to a fault, we’re then able to 110% fully immerse ourselves in all of the work that we produce. Our clients and collaborators receive complete hands-on focus and get our full attention no matter the project, no matter the budget, and no matter the size. Please tell us, Dani, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Mackinzie: It’s reported that only 1% of people are successful at doing something that they try to do. Do you know why that percentage is devastatingly low? It’s because everyone is too afraid even to try to do the thing they want to do so they never start, or he or she won't ever try because they’re afraid that they’ll fail. One strategy that has helped our business to grow is that we aren’t afraid to fail because failure isn’t an option. If there is one thing that I will say over and over again, is that success is no accident. It’s a combination of hard work, perseverance, determination, dedication, a little bit of sacrifice, a love for what you’re doing and love for the people you’re doing it with. Dani, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Dani: We always have a backup plan. I think this is one of the best habits we have and without fail, it makes certain that we never fail. Everything goes according to plan because of this very fact. That’s part of our secret sauce, for sure. Mackinzie: Compromise is key. Dani, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Creative Agency. Dani: My proudest professional accomplishment as a creative agency thus far is having Mackinzie as my partner. What’s the point of a partnership if I can’t get to him and say “I can’t hold up the world today alone, will you help me?” Mackinzie: We’re super passionate about helping our clients to influence society and culture with positive messages reinforcing the importance of growth, inspiration and evolution. I am proud of our passion for changing the world for the better by aligning with projects that actually make a difference in the world. I really think this we have magic in the making. Not content in just helping creatives, we are also focused on tackling social issues, which is why we founded USB: United Stance Against Bullying. Dani, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? Mackinzie: We are always creative with our work. It’s exciting. And it’s difficult. But our collaborations are highly curated in an effort to stay true to each of our business’s original roots prior to our merger. Dani: I also love how our positions align in such a way that we are also able in aiming to help make a difference in the lives of young people as well as share our mission to fight against bullying and stand up for the normalisation of the conversation about the importance of mental health. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Creative Agency?* * Mackinzie: Monday’s are exciting. Dani and I love Mondays. You can like Monday’s too, if you change your state, you’ll change your mind. Dani: You’re only in control of two things: how you feel and how you react. Nothing else is up to you. Now for the best part Dani! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work. Photo Credits: Colby Jackson Outcastcitybiz@gmail.com @outcastcity
DONNA HARTLEY MILLINERY
DONNA HARTLEY MILLINERY WAS BORN FROM A FRIENDSHIP OF TWO ENGLISH GIRLS DONNA HARTLEY & JOANNE TEMPERLEY JONES LIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF MURCIA SPAIN.
WE DESIGN
AND MAKE EXTRAVAGANT HATS AND HEADPIECES AIMED FOR THE SPECIAL OCCASION MARKET.
OUR
INFLUENCE OF DESIGN IS DERIVED FROM OUR QUINTESSENTIA L BRITISH FLARE & THE BEAUTIFUL SPANISH LIFE IN WHICH WE LIVE.
OUR GOAL IS TO ADORN
HEADS OF WOMEN ACROSS THE WORLD WHO HAVE THE SAME FIRE IN THEIR BELLIES FOR WEARING A PIECE OF ART & APPRECIATING THE GLORIOUS WORLD OF MILLINERY.
JOANNE AND I HAVE BEEN MAKING OUR HATS AND HEADPIECES FOR THE PAST THREE AND A HALF YEARS IN SPAIN. I HAVE BEEN MAKING HATS FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS BUT DIDN'T TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL UNTIL MY PARTNER, MY DOG, AND I MOVED TO SPAIN. OUR WHOLE LIVES CHANGED FOREVER. LIVING IN A RURAL AREA HAS ITS CHALLENGES FROM GETTING THE COURIER SERVICES EVEN TO COME AND COLLECT A BOX TO BEING SNOWED IN WITHOUT ELECTRICITY! SHIPPING IS A HUGE PROBLEM, THE COST IS ASTRONOMICAL SO SENDING GOODS ABROAD TAKES ITS TOLL FINANCIALLY. PEOPLE DON'T LIKE PAYING TO SHIP AND THEREFORE MAY NOT BUY BECAUSE OF THIS..IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THERE WERE A GROUP ASSOCIATED WITH MILLINERY/FASHION AROUND THE WORLD THAT HIRED A COURIER COMPANY TO DISPATCH GOODS AT A LOWER COST AS WE ARE SURE IT WOULD BENEFIT ALL CONCERNED. AS THE MILLINERY WORLD EXPANDS WITH MORE PEOPLE LEARNING THE ART, IT IS SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAT WE BE AT THE TOP OF OUR GAME.AS SOCIAL MEDIA TAKES OVER THE WORLD WE HAVE TO RUN WITH THE TIMES; WE ARE LEARNING MORE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING AND INFLUENCERS.
OUR MARKETING STRATEGY HAS CHANGED DRAMATICALLY IN THE PAST MONTHS; SITTING BACK AND DOING WHAT YOU HAVE ALWAYS DONE AND HOPED FOR THE BEST DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT THE FUTURE BUT WE ARE AWARE THAT WE HAVE TO WORK DIFFERENTLY TO HAVE AN EFFECT. OUR BRAND IS STUNNING AND DESERVES TO BE KNOWN AND LOVED.

YASMINE TANRES PROFESSION: HOST/ ACTRESS/ MODEL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT: @YASMINETANRES HTTP://WWW.YASMINETANRES.COM EMAIL ADDRESS: INFO@YASMINETANRES.COM CA, USA ABOUT: I’M A HOST, ACTRESS AND COMMERCIAL MODEL FROM LONDON OF SPANISH, INDONESIAN AND CHINESE DESCENT, AND I SPEAK GERMAN, SPANISH AND FRENCH. I CONTINUOUSLY STRIVE TO HOST AND REPORT ON TV, NEW MEDIA AND LIVE EVENTS AS MY PASSION ARE TO GET TO KNOW PEOPLE AND DEBATE ABOUT A VARIETY OF IMPACTFUL ISSUES RELATED TO HEALTH, EDUCATION, FITNESS, BEAUTY, CULTURE, TRAVEL AND ENTERTAINMENT. ULTIMATELY I WOULD LOVE TO HOST A TRAVEL SERIES OR INTELLECTUALLY STIMULATING SHOW, AND ONE DAY HOPES TO SET UP AN ART FOUNDATION THAT WILL HELP ORPHANS AND REFUGEES SHARPEN THEIR SKILLS AS CREATIVE ARTISTS.
YOUR STORY GROWING UP I TRUTHFULLY NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA – THE THOUGHT OF PUBLIC SPEAKING OR IN FRONT OF ANYONE MADE ME INCREDIBLY NERVOUS. I GUESS THIS FEELING STUCK WITH ME SINCE A YOUNG AGE WHEN A DRAMA TEACHER POINTED TOWARD ME AND SAID IN CLASS “THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU DON’T ACT.” IT MADE ME FOCUS MORE ON MY STRENGTHS AS A GYMNAST, AND I FELT MORE ACADEMIC AND LOGICAL INSTEAD OF CREATIVE, EVEN IF MY GRADES WEREN’T ALWAYS THE BEST (MATH’S, UGH!).
ONE EVENING IN MY EARLY 20S MY ENTIRE MINDSET AND SELF-BELIEVE CHANGED, THANKS TO A WELL-KNOWN BRITISH HOST WHOM I WAS CASUALLY HAVING DINNER WITH THROUGH A FRIEND. HER EXPRESSED PERCEPTION OF MY LOOKS AND LANGUAGE SKILLS MADE ME THINK, “WELL SHE’S RIGHT IF THEY CAN DO IT, WHY CAN’T I?” SO BEFORE MOVING TO LOS ANGELES, I TOOK MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS AND TOOK CLASSES IN PUBLIC SPEAKING. THEN I CAME ACROSS AN OPPORTUNITY AS A MULTIMEDIA REPORTER FOR THE UK’S FIRST YOUTH-LED NEWS-STYLE TV SHOW, LONDON360, WHICH IS OWNED BY MEDIA TRUST AND SUPPORTED BY THE BBC, ITV, CHANNEL 4 AND TIME WARNER, AND BROADCAST ON LONDON LIVE. THERE I FELT COMPELLED TO TELL STORIES OF COMMUNITIES AND INDIVIDUALS THAT DESERVED MORE MEDIA REPRESENTATION. I CHALLENGED THE MAYOR OF LONDON, SADIQ KHAN, ABOUT WHAT HE WOULD DO TO PROTECT WOMEN IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY, AND INTERVIEWED AN ARRAY OF CELEBRITIES ON RED CARPET EVENTS. IN MY SPARE TIME, I TRAVELLED TO IMPOVERISHED COUNTRIES, SUCH AS INDIA AND CAMEROON TO CAPTURE AND CREATE AWARENESS OF SOME OF THE CULTURAL NORMS THAT ARE NOT HIGHLIGHTED IN MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
NOW IN LOS ANGELES, I HAVE COMPLETED AN ENTERTAINMENT STUDIES PROGRAM AT UCLA AND CONTINUOUSLY ACT, MODEL AND HOST ON VARIOUS PLATFORMS, SUCH AS AFTERBUZZ TV – THE ESPN FOR AFTER SHOW TALK; MAKE MUSE – FOR FEMALE EMPOWERMENT; LIVE ENTERTAINMENT SUMMITS AND FUNDRAISER EVENTS. IT’S IMPORTANT TO ME TO KEEP ON DEBATING, TELLING THE STORIES THAT MATTER AND INTERVIEWING PEOPLE THAT DESERVE TO BE ON THE FOREFRONT. MY GOAL IS TO CONTINUE CREATING A POSITIVE IMPACT ON SOCIETY BY HOSTING LIVE EVENTS, TV OR NEW MEDIA SHOWS/ DOCUMENTARIES THAT ARE INTELLECTUALLY STIMULATING RELATED TO HEALTH, FITNESS, EDUCATION, CULTURE, TRAVEL AND ENTERTAINMENT.

I made model's school in Federation Suisse de Mannequins, chaired over the time by Mrs Geneviève de Marcy. Of cheerful, smiling, severe and creative nature, I had the pleasure to participate in several catwalks in particular for FashionFair of Lausanne, for shops or wedding dresses. I also had the pleasure to make shooting, and to seem twice in the magazine "New Sight" piloted by Mrs Laurence Sallaz. I can speak five languages (French, English, German, Turkish and Kurdish). About: I’m a teen model that hopes to inspire others by showing them that the definition of beauty is not what your face looks like. My passion is to become a dermatologist and be able to perform some pro bono work to increase selfconfidence in teens with acne. I enjoy singing, writing songs to release my teenage angst and hanging out with friends acting goofy. My biggest compliment is when people find out I’m a signed model and can’t believe it. I tell them that proves if you believe in yourself and work hard enough, anything is possible. Your Story I’ve been bullied relentlessly throughout my life for either my looks, my strong faith or the fact I am anti-drugs. It can make you second guess your morals and decisions when it feels you are the odd one out. It’s hard to not “go with the flow” and become part of the masses. I’ve struggled with this many times. However, I have a strong support system and open, honest communication with my “tribe” that reassured me that I’m on the right track for ME! My confidence skyrocketed once I learned I was not responsible for anyone’s happiness but my own. It’s much harder to stand up for yourself than give in. However, if you do it, I promise you that you will feel that much better just knowing you are right to yourself. You’re not alone...you need to find your tribe. DRT DENISE BORRAZ TREPAT
Denise Borraz Trepat deniseborraztrepat@gmail.com @deniseborraztrepat http://www.deniseborraztrepat.com Country United States State / Region California Actor ABOUT I started acting at the age of 8 in an adult theatre company in Spain. After nine years on the Spanish stages, I decided to cross the ocean and move to NYC to study my craft. I studied at Adelphi University in NY and got my degree in Acting and Philosophy. After multiple productions, two lead roles, certification as an Advanced Actor Combatant by the SAFD and two nominations to the Irene Ryan Awards from the Kennedy Center for the Arts I decided to move to LA to pursue my acting in film and television. Our readers would love to get to know you more Denise. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I'm a passionate person. Passion leads my life, and that is why I could not do anything other than acting. For me, my art is my way of communication with the world. Developing and nourishing my craft is the most important thing; who wouldn't want to better the way they can change things? Being a "student for life," I keep myself open minded and ready to expand my horizons so I can translate that into my craft. I speak four languages ( Spanish, Catalan, English and French) and have travelled to over 25 countries. To me, this gives me a deep connection to not only the world but also different cultures and ways of socialising. It's one of the biggest tools I have when it comes to preparing and becoming a character, as they always intend to find connections with others. I see acting as a conversation, communication that can lead to change. What makes me unique? I put all my heart in everything I do, my characters and my performances have the soul, they're never the same, and a bit of them always stays in me. Denise, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as an Actor? I've always been ambitious with big aspirations. I can't remember a time when I didn't want to be an actor in some way. After all, I grew up surrounded by art. My parents introduced me to all kind of arts since the moment I was born, and I'm grateful for that. I have vague memories of being a baby and listening to Il Trovatore by Verdi to go to sleep, being 3 and reading Peter Rabbit with my mom or watching the interesting black and white movies like Casablanca. But the turning point was when my parents took me to the opera when I was just five years old... I remember it as it was yesterday. We went to see Romeo and Juliet, and despite my young age there is nowhere else I would have rather been than that theatre. I may not have understood everything that happened, but all I know is that I was mesmerised by the beauty before my eyes and that something inside me NEEDED to be on that stage. At the age of 8, I put my first foot on stage, and the rest is history. The moment that spotlight hit my face and I delivered my first lines I knew that was where I belonged. It was like finding the home in a world where I had always felt out of place. After moving to NYC when I was 17 and recently to LA I want to be able to do what I love the most: Act. Long term, I want to be able to impact people with my acting. I find that every character I have played, no matter how "good" or "bad" they are, have made me a better person. If I can change somebody's perspective on something, or even get a smile out of them, everything I do is worth it. I also have some specific goals in mind for right now like getting my firearm license for film and tv, becoming a fight choreographer and maybe playing a badass superhero that can fight with eight different weapons. That would be cool, huh? *laughs* When it comes to my personal life, I want to keep growing as a person, learning, reading, have time for my big cooking passion, someday have a family and be able to spend time with the people I love. Who is your inspiration in life Denise? How do you stay inspired as Actor? That's a difficult one! I keep myself positive, and I have learned to admire the beauty in every little thing. I find inspiration in the most unexpected places, and that is what keeps me going. But if I have to mention my biggest inspiration in life that would be my parents (because they always believed in me and allowed their only child to cross the world to pursue her dreams), my boyfriend Matt (who is creating his own empire from scratch and gives me endless support) and my teachers and mentors (who have taught me everything I know and make me want to be better for them). Other than that, I find other artists to inspire me all the time. Whether it is music (Muse, Debussy, Hamilton...), a museum, other actors (Benedict Cumberbatch, Helena Bonham Carter, Andrew Scott, Meryl Streep...) or reading a book I find that I'm part of something bigger than myself. Those artists that came before me are the reason why I'm here and why I can be who I am today. Stay aware, stay humble, stay in tune with your surroundings and inspiration will find you.
We all make mistakes Denise; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? I wish I could say that there are mistakes I wish I could take back, but that would be denying the fact that we are built from our failures. Don't get me wrong, I have made more mistakes than I can count with my fingers, but they have all brought me to where I am today. I deeply believe that everything happens for a reason, so every stop on the way was necessary to get here living my dream. BUT, if there were one thing I could tell younger Denise it would be "don't be so scared". I sometimes wish I would've been the first one to raise my hand or the first one to speak. I remember when I got to the US I was about my accent. I would be so ashamed and scared of speaking that I missed a lot of opportunities because of it. It's something I'm still working on, but if I were to do it again, I would do it better. I learned not to be ashamed of who I am, those little things that make me different make me unique, and there is no reason to apologise for my uniqueness. Denise, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? Art is a collaboration, the best things I've ever done have come from communicating and working with others. I'm a really easy going and hard working person. On the other side, I'm also a really independent person who will want to bring her own view to the table. I like to work on my own and then put all the ideas together to create something even better. I'm a big fan of trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone and doing the opposite of what was the original plan. I also consider myself being really good at understanding what is asked of me and making sure my ideas and my work align with the director's view. Please tell us, Denise, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? This is something I have struggled with in the past. There have been times where I have been so focused on the work that I've forgotten about others. I find it to be one of the most difficult parts of being an artist. I love my work, and it would be easy for me to bury myself in it, but it's all about listening to myself. I like to write down my priorities for the day, so I can hold myself accountable for what needs to be done. Spending time with my friends and having a social life is necessary for my sanity, so I've been trying to be more mindful of that and plan ahead. I'm really thankful that I have supportive family and friends that understand the love for my craft and the sacrifices that sometimes go with it. That gives me peace of mind and strength to be independent and focus on myself while maintaining a strong relationship with my loved ones. Denise, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Once I was in a production where the director and I didn't see eye to eye when it came to my character. I had a really vivid idea in my head that was very different from their point of view. I asked the director to let me try it in rehearsals and, if it didn't work, I would certainly change it. Through my performance in rehearsals, I was able to change the director's mind and perform that character in a different way than anybody expected. You never know something won't work until you try it! Denise, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Actor. One of my proudest accomplishments was playing Young Woman in a production of Machinal. I remember when I read the script from the first time and I found it really challenging to relate to the character in certain ways. Nobody thinks of themselves as 'bad'; everybody can justify why they did something. Like the actor that was going to embody her, I needed to understand and justify her actions. Through the rehearsal process and with the help of our great director Maggie Lally I was able to understand my character as much as I understood myself. It was one of the proudest moments of my life when I was able to transmit compassion, love and vulnerability in my performance through a character that could have been played in a negative way. I learned to see the good in the bad and understand that we cannot be quick to judge, and that view was felt by the audience. Denise, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? When I was in a production of Marat/Sade, I was cast as Simonne. This character has only four lines in the whole script but is on stage for the whole length of the play. There is no context or story for her, so I had to create a three-dimensional character from 4 lines. With the help of our wonderful director Jamianne Devlin, I was able to create a backstory, a heart and a soul for Simonne. It was so exciting not to have boundaries, to be able to use my imagination and artistic tools as much as I wanted. I will not deny it was one of the most challenging experiences I've had, but what I learned with total creative freedom was priceless. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Actor?* * The study, read, explore and keep yourself as the Romans would say a "tabula rasa". Be ready to be changed, be ready to grow, be ready to BE the change, be ready to fail (and when you do I hope you fail GLORIOUSLY), be ready to fight for your dreams and be ready always to keep learning. Find somebody who loves you and knows you as much as you know yourself (family, friends...) because this business is hard. As an actor, you have to keep yourself grounded, and sometimes it's easy to lose your way. Make sure you have that person by your side that helps you go back home. This is my stepping stone to pursue my dream to become an iconic Fashion Stylish in a year or two. As a single parent, I always love the idea that I am a versatile artist. I have a passion for painting, dancing, sketching, styling, poetry, photography, modelling, reading, home decorating, building people, fitness and Mental Health advocate. Credentials: Featured model at World Model Hunt, Torontoicandy, Torontonudemodel, Sexyfarmsusa icandytoronto, Torontodimes, etc. Brand Ambassador for Bejuststrong Model and Talent at the Numa Network Agency. Our readers would love to get to know you more Grace Riza. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I am a very organised, creative and driven individual. I take pride in the quality of work I do professionally and personally. I'm unique as an artist because I am my style, brand and personality. I love inspiring people about my right to life stories, experiences with people I met along the line and how they contribute to making me the woman I am today. To give positive influence to people in all walks of life are the most rewarding feeling and happiness that I've ever felt. For instance, making a bride the most beautiful being on her special day, lending a helping hand to a friend, smiling to everyone you meet on the street, supporting your fellow artists by collaborating with projects, etc., praying for someone in need or even for the world, v o l u n t e e r i n g i n t h e c o m m u n i t y, p r o v i d e encouragement to people who is down and just spreading the Love as a result of peace and harmony. Grace Riza, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? My passion in life is Fashion. I am aspired as an artist and hope to become an iconic Fashion Stylish. I have started modelling three months ago to experience working in the Fashion industry or collaborating with local designers, models and photographers in different styles. I've signed up with the Numa Network to be part of the modelling community and able to get casting gigs.
Who is your inspiration in life Grace Riza? How do you stay inspired as Model? My only daughter named Emma-Dior inspired me in life the most. She introduces art to me so I can enjoy the creative person inside me. She is also an artist herself, with so much potential but yet humble, friendly, caring, giving and funny. I've stayed inspired as a Model because my daughter believes in me. She supports me for doing what I love and always there to encourage that she would want to see me one day living my dream as a Fashion Stylish and able to share my work to the world as my daughter wants to be the one walking me on a red carpet. We all make mistakes Grace Riza; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I wish I be more careful in trusting people. If I could take back the time, I could have not gone dating online or at least avoid getting in trouble. My vulnerability brought me some adversaries, but it also brought me a great lesson so I can move on wisely as I embark my journey to bigger things with more significant responsibilities that will prepare me physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually as I face some challenges along the road to success. Grace Riza, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I am very professional and articulate regarding working with clients. I always ensure that their expectations are being met. Please tell us Grace Riza, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I take pride in my work so that I can provide a comfortable life for my family. It is essential to balance spending time with friends being in a social gathering this way I am surrounding myself with the people I have common interests, accepts me and has a positive outlook in life as well. Grace Riza, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I am always a hardworking person, and I do things above and beyond my scope of practice. My manager has a strong personality and can be mistaken as a harsh, insensitive and challenging person to her assistant. However, I tried to let her know how great she is in her role and cheer her up regardless she will appreciate it or not. She becomes less angry and starts to be more understanding of her assistant instead of being upset about her incompetence. It is important not to tolerate things that are not pleasant to humanity but being kind to one another will go a long way. Grace Riza, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. My proudest professional accomplishments as a Model was Winning the Instagram Photo contest and was qualified for the Mega Contest as well. Also, I have an opportunity to work with published photographers locally and internationally. Grace Riza, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? I have never done a video shoot and vlogging before, but I was able to enjoy the moment with the photographer, just embracing the idea of entertainment without being afraid in front of the camera regardless I have no script, speaking with a Filipino accent and no broadcasting or film experience of any kind. Sometimes, you get better things even you dare to dive into the challenge as the more I practice; it makes it perfect. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * The information that I would give to people who want to be successful as a Model is to study different poses and mood board on YouTube, be creative and passionate with your style, put 100% effort and do as much TFP as possible with highly recommended photographer for building an award-winning portfolio for publications and be active on different social media platforms to expand their network.

Shailah Edmonds shailahedmonds@gmail.com @shailahedmonds http://www.shailahedmonds.com Country United States State / Region New York Model ABOUT y I have just published my memoir about my modeling life from Portland, Ore, to the Couture runways of Paris. It's called Wild Child To Couture Style, The Shailah Edmonds Story. (Amazon, Barnesandnoble.com or website). I lived in Paris for 2 years working for every major designer in the world. I currently work as a model coach and singer. Since my book release, I have been asked to walk in a runway show for NYFW and I'm in my 60's! Every model should read this book, filled with life and modeling lessons and the true story of the biz. Our readers would love to get to know you more Shailah. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you oer? I am unique because I'm not in it for the money. In my modeling workshops, I am honest if I feel the model doesn't fit the requirements or has no potential. If they do, I work relentlessly with them to transform them, and usually in one or two lessons, they are more confident with themselves and their walk. Shailah, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? I was fearless, and brave enough to take chances. I left my hometown, family and comfort zone to pursue my career. After several rejections I persevered and found other options to make it happen. I want to pass this on to others, hence the book, Wild Child To Couture Style, it tells all. Who is your inspiration in life Shailah? How do you stay inspired as Model? I love fashion. I am thankful to God for my beauty and model body. Since I have been blessed with this, I love to dress, and when I dress I certainly can't stay home. Good music gets me out of the house and never stop networking. We all make mistakes Shailah, we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? I wish I'd planned my travels better, and took myself more as a business when I was younger. I partied a lot. Shailah ,How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? I am very easy to get along with. I bring energy and humor into the room when I enter, putting everyone at ease. Please tell us Shailah, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I don't like to waste time. I only go to events that I think I can meet people or I know friends that I like will be there. I have taken all the negative people out of my life, and thoroughly enjoy my artistic passions to keep me busy. Shailah, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work. When a designer told me I was too tall for his collection, I adamantly told him tall models can show just as well as short ones. He let me try on a dress and I walked circles around him. He hired me for his show and I made the cover of Time magazine in that dress! Shailah please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. My proudest moment was to be a fitting model for Yves St. Laurent, as well as doing his shows. Also taken to Rome for Valentino fittings and shows Shailah, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or diďŹƒcult about it? I love writing poetry and putting it to music, or just keeping it as poetry. Its so beautiful when the words just flow, and you make a rhyme make sense. The end result is so beautiful. What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?* * To be successful, one must be totally professional in all they do. Take care of the body, good hygiene and get knowledge about your career. Explore all the in's and outs of what it takes to be successful and how to market yourself to the right people. OLAUSPHOTOGRAPHY.COM
HER SPMITH HOTOGRAPHER
Christopher Smith olausphotography@gmail.com @olausphotography http://www.olausphotography.com Country United States State / Region Georgia Christopher, how would you best describe yourself? Photographer ABOUT Photography started out as a hobby to combine my love of creativity, technical passions and my need for adventure. I got a degree in mathematics and currently have a full-time job as a data scientist. On the side, I run my photography business to sustain my passion for it. I love photography, and if I realised my love for it in my teen years, I guarantee a dierent path would have been taken. My whole life has been a balance between technical and creative, and it wasn't until 24 years of age that I realised photography allows both to coexist wonderfully. I have been featured in one online magazine called VoyageATL. Other than that I am young in the publishing world. Our readers would love to get to know you more Christopher. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you oer? My services for photography range to almost every category in photography. I thoroughly enjoy the whole photography process from brainstorming to post editing. Capturing what the customer wants is the goal but once that is met I tend to have fun, try something outside of the ask, if time allows. Working within a hobby is a fantastic and encompassing moment. It gives me a standard of professionalism equally met with a level of creativity and enjoyment where the parties involved can build socially empowering chemistry. By nature, I am more goofy than severe and maintaining the professionalism creates the parameters that are necessary to the situation while the lightness of my personality can bring comfort to the subjects. Christopher, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer? I started becoming interested in photography during my college years where I would stumble upon photographer's websites and just searched through their work. Landscapes and architecture took hold of me first with beautiful art and portraits following shortly after. Being a college student I didn't have much money to work with to purchase a camera, so I waited until I got my job. I read, watched and listened to everything I could surrounding photography to make up for lack of professional training. I would be up at 4:45 am every morning learning the skills before my day job, and every weekend I would go out and practice those recently learned lessons. My wife would be my subject for portraits, and she gave me unequivocal patients and support. We love to travel and work on projects whether it's a home improvement or some form of art. Who is your inspiration in life Christopher? How do you stay inspired as Photographer? My wife has been a painter and craft enthusiast for most of her life. She is a huge inspiration when it comes to learning from raw talent. Working next to her on the same project, or separate ones, and having this playful competitiveness and collaborative relationship is such a massive benefit to me. I also love going to art fairs to see photography that people are willing to purchase. It isn't to tailor my work towards the likelihood of a sale but more so to see what innate response their work has given me. There are thousands of styles loved by many, and the method is an individual's expression. I don't concern myself with a style one may have, it's that internal reaction to their work that I try to capture. If I can learn why I like or react to a specific piece, then I can utilise that feeling as a guide during the creation of my work.
We all make mistakes Christopher; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? Of course, I wish I had started my photography at a younger age, but that's less of a mistake and more of a hindsight reality. One thing I would do differently now would be taking more structured classes on post editing and the software. The learning curve to correctly use these powerful tools was immense and tedious where formal courses could have saved time and frustration. Much time was put into trial and error while reviewing articles on how to do one specific task. A class could have covered the foundational knowledge and background to tackle many of those tasks through in-depth understanding of the basics. Christopher, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I would describe myself as flexible, light and consumed by the moment. I tend to block out everything besides the customer's goal and my equipment. Please tell us, Christopher, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? My day job is a data scientist, and my wife is a nurse. As of now, we don't have any kids, so time for two adults is plentiful and quickly allocated. Since my wife works weekends on occasion, I have the time to focus on photography without affecting time with my wife. When we are both together, we are either hanging out with family and friends or working on projects around the house. I wouldn't say we are the busiest people ever and that's mainly due to us being able to decide what makes us active. There are two categories of time; obligations and time between obligations. I feel we are not busy because those two categories are well balanced. Christopher, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. In my experience, people working with me are looking for my input and ideas. I will stay within general terms to in respect to the customer and others involved. I did some work for a company where they needed executive portraits. I was given examples to match, and there was something off about them. I couldn't figure out what until I got home and started the post editing process of my photos. I shared with the company why I went a slightly different way with them, and it turned out they agreed. Christopher, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. This may not fit the professional part but my most proud moment was not too long ago when I was showing my parents and grandparents the house we recently moved into, and they all stopped at one of the pictures hanging on the wall. Before they knew it was one of my pieces, they were in awe of the film and unknowingly complimenting my work. Once I said it was one of my photos they were shocked. They hadn't seen any final products outside of social media posts. It was a fantastic moment for me regarding the people who raised me and taught me the benefits of hard work to unbiasedly react to the efforts I have been putting into this art. Christopher, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? One of my best friends has photography as a hobby of his, and when we go out on weekends to explore an area, we have fun and try new things with our photos. Its one of my favourite ways to do something that wouldn't usually be the go-to for a photo shoot. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?* * My opinion would be to first understand the technical aspects of photography; the equipment, exposure triangle, lighting and software. Because when you are out trying to capture the right picture, your attention will need to be on the desired feel and composition of the photo. Have the technical part be second nature to you so you can rely on your instinct for the technical part and focus your thoughts on the creativity and art aspects of your picture. Vanessa Forcelli Vanessaforcelli@gmail.com @vanessa_forcelli Country Germany State / Region Baden-WĂźrttemberg Blogger/Model ABOUT I am Italian, but was born and raised in Germany; made in Germany from Italian parts! I am a professionally trained legal secretary and worked very hard to become the Office Manager of an international law firm (Harden, Wells & Smith). In 2009 I opened Stuttgart's first Cupcake store "The Cupcake Boutique" (my brand, not a franchise). I am also the owner of DRD4 Music, a recording studio and music label, where I produced and published two albums with my artists "Matteo Dinero" and "TC Dalton". TC Dalton won the German Rock & Pop Award in December 2017 (American country music). I am also the mother of three amazing children age 4, 5 and 10. My m a i n t a l e n t s l a y i n p ro j e c t management, creative problem solutions, being an entrepreneur and in taking people to the next level. Many people say about me that "God broke the mould"! I am a very creative person; I love fashion, f o o d a n d i n te r i o r d e s i g n a l o n g w i t h photography and travel. During my time at The Cupcake Boutique, I also offered workshops and taught my kitchen staff the secrets of cake design. At DRD4 Music I planned events and managed artists. I produced two music albums and two music videos. I did a lot of promotional work and was in charge of presenting my artists on stage. I love to sing, which I do on an almost daily basis. I never performed in public other than our karaoke studio, but this is on my list of things to do next. I like to laugh! Comedies are one of my favourite things to watch. My favourite stand-up comedian has been George Carlin. It is in my blood to try new things and to make them a success. I speak fluent English, German and Italian. Our readers would love to get to know you more Vanessa. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I enjoy learning new things, and I always go out of my way to succeed. When I don't know an answer to something, I make sure to find the correct answer, no matter how long it takes. I love challenges because they make you grow as a person. I once worked for an American who didn't speak any German. My English language skills were ok but not great at that time, so I spent my entire spare time learning English to be able to give him the support he needed. I am known for being dedicated, on top of things and to fulfil my promises. Va n e s s a , w h a t a re yo u r p a s s i o n a n d aspiration in life? How did you start as a Blogger? My passion is to motivate people, to think outside the box, to try new things and to never give up. I started blogging when my personal life was upside down. Life has so much to offer, and I just wanted to keep being part of it. So I put myself out there and proved to myself that no matter what happens in life, I can get through it and make a difference. Who is your inspiration in life Vanessa? How do you stay inspired as
Blogger? I get inspired by my kids and people who have a positive outlook on life despite what negative things happened to them. Being a Blogger is genuinely inspiring because you can reach out to and connect with so many people who share your interests. I get inspired by music. My favourite singer and inspiration are Ed Sheeran. And food! Yes, food inspires me. I love to cook and to try foods of different ethnicities. We all make mistakes Vanessa; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I wish I would have been more confident about who I am and what I want. I should have been more tolerant in certain circumstances. Vanessa, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I am a team player, and therefore, I do my very best to please the client. I do understand how a client thinks based on many years of experience as Office Manager and as the owner of my cupcake and music businesses. I focus on the needs of the client so that I understand precisely what the client is looking for. This gives me the chance to participate in a meaningful way. It's important to me to be able to integrate myself in any project that is given to me. Please tell us, Vanessa, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I do believe that family is the essential thing in life. But it's also important to me that I participate in social life and that I have a career that fulfils me. A right work-life balance is most effective on all levels. Vanessa, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I was working with one of my artists on his first album when he started singing an English language song. He stopped and said he was worried that he couldn't perform this song because his English was not good enough. I promised him it would turn out great using me as his coach. He was very reluctant at first and didn't believe that he could succeed. After some practice, he managed to sing the song correctly, and we ended up publishing his album with 3 German and 3 English songs. He became a lot more confident about himself, and that alone made me very, very happy! Vanessa, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Blogger. When my article got published for the first time from "momsaroundtheworld" and when Model Citizen Magazine discovered me. Vanessa, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? When I was working at my music label, one of my artists had to go on stage to perform, and I was there as his manager. The moderator suddenly backed out, and there was no alternative other than me presenting my artist on stage. Despite my racing heart, I found the strength to go on stage and to focus entirely on what my artist was all about. I managed to engage the audience with my presence and presentation. This was proof to me that when you genuinely believe in something you can succeed because everything you do comes right from your heart. It was a very successful presentation, and in the end, I was pleased about having had the chance to present my artist on my own, very personal way. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Blogger?* * You need to find out what your passion is. Once you find it, you will succeed in becoming a Blogger because you do what you love. You need to be exciting and connect with your followers. If you dedicate your time, passion and efforts, combined with patience, you will succeed. Photo Credits: Tim Smith

I loved it and had dreams of being in the NBA. I would have to say earlier this year when I won the game show “Funny You Should Ask”, and my friends and family all over the country got to see it on TV. Justin, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? I did a Motown soul sounding track on my last album called “Different”. It was difficult to find the right beat for it but once I did everything else came together well. People all over the world love the song and music video for it. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Actor?* * Pay for training and network on sets. I hope to become a photographer that brings a smile to peoples faces after the shoot is over. Make people want to come back for years to come. I got started by scrapbooking after I had my son. I appreciate everyone's story and that they allow me to take their photos. Please tell us, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I found that making routines has been extremely helpful. Please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I am always open to learning how to do things in a different way. However I was at work, and a co-worker and I were working on a project, we came to a standstill because we were not seeing where the other person was coming from. I suggested they tell me how they wanted to finish our project and then I would say to them what I had in mind. Let's say the way I had suggested was cheaper and quicker. Please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. I was very proud of being published in the Best of Photography 2017 Book and then won again in 2018. Please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? I had a shoot where I made the models outfit and jewellery. TIANA MARCANO
Kayleigh-Jade West Profession: Actor Instagram Account: @kayleighjade.west https://www.starnow.com/ kayleighjadeawest kayleighjademanagement@gmail.com United Kingdom About: My name is Kayleigh-Jade, and I'm an actress who also branches in too many other creative mediums. I love working with other creatives to build and develop characters and bring them to life on stage and screen. If I could wave a magic wand and have the job of my dreams I would create 24/7; film, paintings, books, photos. I love to capture life moment by moment. One exciting moment coming up for me is the Summer 2019 Amazon Prime release of Ragtags so if you want to know what I'm up to, be sure to check that out! Your Story Acting started as an escape for me, I grew up in an abusive home and found acting gave me an opportunity to escape my life and live as someone else. From that it grew to be a lifelong passion, I am fascinated by people, how they think, how they feel, and how they experience the world; Acting gives me the opportunity to explore this. I can experience the world through the eyes of so many people in my job, learn about the struggles, the thoughts, the complexities that make up a person, and then I get to portray them. It's hard to explain why I love acting so much but it ties in with my love of psychology, philosophy and understanding the world and where we are within it as human beings. I struggle with my mental health, and I will be fighting that battle as long as I live, I don't shy away from that but I feel acting really helps as not only do I experience my emotions and thoughts on a day to day basis but I get the opportunity to flick a switch and see how a specific another character would deal with a similar situation. I feel acting has helped me deal with my mental health as I portray people with worse or better ways of coping with life, it helps me to find my middle ground, my best way to not only cope but thrive. I am also fiercely creative, and acting is an outlet, creating people whom an audience of individuals can adore or detest, forming layers of personality to bring about feelings in the viewers. If I've played the bad guy in something and a viewer hates me for it, then I've done my job well. Photo Credits: Photo Fervor Thomas Faull
ANGELIQUE
ARDELL
Angelique Ardell angelique-ardell@outlook.com @vintagelover65 Country United Kingdom State / Region Staffordshire Model ABOUT I am a versatile model I model glamour and fashion my modelling name is Angelique Ardell I have been modelling freelance for two years and have worked with many wonderful photographers who have helped me to create a stunning portfolio of my work I have always been interested in fashion it all started when I was a little girl and my dress up box ,most of my outfits came from yard sales my collection grew. By the time I was sixteen, I was going with my mum into vintage shops, and I'd see rails of amazing things I wore dresses that other girls my age were not wearing, the be wearing the latest fashion from new look and I'd be wearing a beautiful taffeta full skirted dress from the 50s , they used to take the rise out of me for being different, I had two short stories published in an international magazine called jade under the name Cassie Cliffton. It was an artistic erotic magazine my stories were called love by candlelight and the longing . for a while I gave modelling a break whilst pursuing my writing , then a photographer got back in touch with me, and I found myself back in the modelling industry again at age fifty, but this time my ambition is to create a blog dedicated to original vintage fashions mixing modern pieces with them creating different looks, and I have a love of wigs, so the outfits I put together will also feature these to me they are like any other fashion accessory, my blog will be about putting the looks together as the whole package, my blog will be called Gee, Gees Gems . I am also looking to turn my freelance modelling into a career, as the time for mature models seems to be now. Our readers would love to get to know you more Angelique. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? My modelling name is Angelique Ardell ,my name I created myself like Brigitte Bardot and Marilyn Monroe, I created it because I felt that it would be good for my Modelling career, I have had two short stories published in an international magazine, they would make fifty shades look tame after my writing I decided to start up as a freelance model under my Angelique Ardell name I started to get a portfolio together and share some of my photos on Instagram I have a love of vintage and fashion and writing, these are my passions my aim is to create a blog with a difference wearing my wigs with modern day fashions mixed with original vintage clothing, therefore, creating different looks and styles, I also love to dip my toes into fashion design, so, for instance, I may from time to time see the potential in a vintage piece and have it altered by a tailor my blog will feature my upcycled designs as well as me wearing the unaltered pieces, it will also feature items of clothing that have been thrifted, my blog will also be lifestyle maybe some recipes for staying slim keeping away from the carbs, and featuring my latest modelling journals along with photos. I also have two beautiful little black rescue cats and a wonderful husband who is also a photographer. Angelique, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? first I was a life model, and I was asked to be a model for the photography class, which was upstairs in the college, I then had photographers asking me if I would model for them and it all started from there, then I joined a modelling hosting site. and my modelling really took off, I made a lot of trade for photos but my ambition is to turn it into something more much more not just photo for photos but to turn it into a paid career modelling for companies and promoting ,not just myself as a blogger of fashion and lifestyle but to really put myself out there as a fifty year old fashionista and to create my own kind of style .that will inspire followers and to uplift others . Who is your inspiration in life Angelique? How do you stay inspired as Model? I don't inspire to be like anyone else, because that would mean id not be like me and were all individuals and were all wonderfully different in our way and that should be celebrated because as women we all bring our uniqueness to the table. What keeps me passionate about my modelling is I feel its part of me, it always has been, I love giving my all to the camera and seeing the images that the photographer and I have created together, in fact, my husband was inspired by it, only this year he has been attending college and learning about photography he is an accountant , when he isn't my photographer , many other of my photographers inspired him to pursue his passion ,and now he takes many my photos for me, so I have made many people happy . We all make mistakes Angelique; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? When moving house, oh I feel terrible about this, but I mistakenly, put the wrong bag out for rubbish collection, it was the horrible realisation that a lot of my childhood creations of poetry and stories and other sentimental things of value had gone yes .. that is a huge regret. Angelique, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? we always work with ideas in mind of what we want to create working with a client is teamwork, I put everything into a shoot to be able to get everything out of it I also think its important to retain a sense of humour with a client yet at the same time be totally professional if a photographer has a bad mood that day I just take it in my stride its all part of the job, in fact, some photographers have become friends of mine now. Please tell us, Angelique, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Family and friends are extremely important, but my modelling does have to come above my social life if it is a job that is beneficial for me. Angelique, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. It was when the photographer wanted me to wear a purple corset, but at the time I'd only got a white one I suggested using photoshop to colour it purple problem solved. We were very happy with the photos. Angelique, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. I feel incredibly proud of all the images that the photographers and I have created together. Also, you suggested to me that I should put myself forward for this interview, which I feel is a fabulous opportunity for me. Being noticed on Instagram two weeks after id joined it was terrific and for star style wigs to comment and say that they will be following my vintage adventures and that I looked stunning in their fire breeze wig at age fifty that is not a bad thing. Angelique, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? It was a shoot I did last Christmas, it was exciting because it was a shoot created a bit like a scene from a film involving myself and a few other models, the photographer wanted two scenes one with us looking like rockers and bikers I wore a leather mini dress ,lace-up boots and a flaming red wig from star style, wigs everyone told me I looked great as a redhead , haha I even got to go on a motorbike not ride it oh no god forbid , but it was fun posing on it though, it was a Harley too .On the same day, we also did a shoot where we were all around the table making out. We were playing a card game we had to improvise. So a little bit of acting was involved there, it was much fun, then it was a change of outfits were we wore 1950s style clothing the scene was supposed to depict mysterious goings on a bit like a bond movie that time I wore a red and white polka, dress and posed with the sexy male model in a suit and trilby a bit like a gangster and his moll . What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * Be yourself, bring to the table your own ideas don't follow the way others are doing things find your own style and your way, listen to your inner voice it will guide you in the right direction, in the industry you, have to be aware of whom you can trust, but most of all learn to trust your gut instincts don't try to impersonate another model because your uniqueness is unique to you. Comparing yourself to other models isn't necessary its all about confidence believing in yourself. Photo Credits: Photographer Martin Trevett: martin-photographer@outlook.com

Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I am a 15-year-old hard working girl who is very passionate and dedicated to everything I do. I love to express myself through my art such as; music, dance, modelling and creating videos for my channel. I am most passionate about sharing my message and creating a positive influence in my community and to all of the youth that follows me. I speak about social issues such as bullying, body shaming, anxiety, racism and violence. I am in the process of creating original music and content that talks about these topics, and I have spoken at schools and competitions about it publicly. SELENA, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as an Influencer? I started singing and dancing since I was able to walk. At the age of 10, I went to my first musical 'Aladdin', and everything inside me clicked. I told my mom "I want to be a singer and dancer and perform on stage". My parents decided to put me in singing and dance classes, and I was able to express myself the way I always wanted to. I started dancing competitively and was featured in music videos and grew so much being a part of amazing projects. I have posted music covers online and got recognition from some fantastic music moguls such as Jessie Reyes. One of my dance videos was featured in Beyonce and J Balvin's official remix video. Since then I was an Ambassador for Foot Locker and Adidas for their newly launched shoe 'Deerupt' and currently sponsored by Urban Kids for their clothing. I was also an ambassador for the 'Belief initiative' ran by Canadian Olympian Sarah Wells. I am a member of one of Toronto's best dance crews and competed for Team Canada in Montreal and qualified for Nationals in Ottawa this past spring. We placed first in Toronto at the Redefine dance competition in June. I love dancing, singing and speaking about social issues and ultimately want to be a role model for the youth who doesn't have anyone to look up to whom they can relate to. I am all about being authentic to myself and showing others that you can be amazing at anything you do if you only love yourself just the way you are, with flaws and all. Who is your inspiration in life SELENA? How do you stay inspired as Influencer? I am inspired by the women in my life such as my mom, my Nonna and aunt. They are strong women who have taught me to believe in myself and that I can do anything. I stay inspired by always doing what feels right and know that everything changes and you need to stay positive and go in the direction that best suits what you think is right at that moment. I am inspired by authentic artists such as Alessia Cara, Ariana Grande, Jessie Reyez who are faithful to who they are. We all make mistakes SELENA; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I don't regret anything I do in life because I believe the only way to grow is to learn from situations that don't work for us. I wouldn't be who I am today without each experience I had including the bad. If I were to change anything I would tell my younger self to keep doing what I feel is right and that it will only get better. There are going to be people that don't understand your vision but continue working hard, and when you can show them, they will see the potential that you have always seen in yourself. SELENA, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I am a very open and happy person who is accommodating to making each experience a pleasant one. Please tell us SELENA, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I am a very hard worker and my time is limited as I know exactly what I want to accomplish in life. My main priorities are spending time with my family whom all support me and come to my practices, events and shoots that I have going on to make the best of our time together. I work hard at school and make sure all of my homework is done as soon as I get home so that I am ready to go to any practices or rehearsals I have and be able to concentrate on what I am doing. I am very close with my parents and always go to movies on nights off. I am still with friends who have the same passions as mine who are on my crew, making music or have the same projects going on. It has been hard to spend time with friends of mine who don't go to the same school or who aren't doing the same kind of things I am, but I try my best to keep in contact and meet up when I can. SELENA, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I am a person who likes to show someone what I mean instead of explaining. I believe actions speak louder than words and when someone can see the picture, they can appreciate it. SELENA, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Influencer. My proudest professional accomplishments have been being able to connect with so many amazing people and especially my following who have supported and motivated me to be my best self and love me no matter what I do. That has been awarding for me. I love connecting with people from all walks of life whether they are an influencer, teacher, child, elderly or someone my age, I feel everyone has a story and can teach us something. SELENA, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? One of the recent favourite projects I worked on was for a video cover of a song called "In my blood" with Shawn Mendes. My dance choreographer asked me from the BOSS company - Leah Totten to express myself not only through the choreography but to sing the cover to showcase my talents. It was terrific to work with someone who saw the passion in me to spread an important message about anxiety which I deal with myself. It was a freeing feeling that brought me to a place of healing through the process. I had to pull out every emotion and showcase it in the music, dance and video. I loved every minute. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Influencer?* * My opinion to anyone wishing to make a difference or who wants to influence people is to be true to who you are! That is the most important thing we can do in life and especially if you're going to share it with an audience. You can't go wrong with being who are and not what someone wants you to be. TIANA MARCANO
Tiana Marcano Tiana914@Gmail.com @tiana_marcano Country United States State / Region New York Actor ABOUT I am Tiana Marcano, born in New York with mainly Spanish origins. I have been always passionate about Fashion Design, Acting, Modeling, and the Metaphysical. I joined SUNY Old Westbury where I studied Business Administration specializing in management but my unusual character and desire for creativity lead me to Paris where I attended the American Business school of Paris and studied Fashion Business and Luxury Management. During the Fashion courses I gained the skill of Transforming a simple garment into a story and understanding how Luxury maisons keep their reputation of luxury items through the story behind each item. While attending school in Paris, my creative pursuits began to expand towards being in front of the camera. I had collaborated with a local photographer, and after that initial shoot, my desire to be in front of the camera grew tremendously. Arriving into New York after my stay in Paris propelled me to go down the path of Print Modelling along with Acting. While being present during photo shoots, I would feel the character's energy that I would portray and channel that energy into existence to the camera. That been said, I am a New York based Actress and Print Model. I have worked on TV as a young, upscale club patron (Uncredited) on CBS "Instinct" along with a 1950's comedy club patron (uncredited) on Amazon Prime's "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel". At the moment I'm collecting new inspirations, and I'm seeking the next destination that will bring me closer to my goals and dreams. Our readers would love to get to know you more Tiana. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I am currently a student at Suny Old Westbury and an Actress/ Print model. I've been on this creative path for about a few months now, and love it. I love working on TV/Film sets especially not from the modern time era. Social media platforms such as Instagram has helped not only grow my platform but allowed me to find myself and allow me to express myself creatively. I adore that I can use Instagram as my portfolio. Tiana, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as an Actor? I was always a creative girl, looking for a multitude of ways to express the raw creative energy within me. I feel that acting allows me to shapeshift into a confident persona while utilising the natural energy inside of me that connects me to the character. Who is your inspiration in life Tiana? How do you stay inspired as Actor? I'm always looking around at my surroundings for ideas. The world is my inspiration, starting from a pure fabric on a person to a still image of Jupiter with crisp colours the world gives me an idea for specific creative projects. A small rose within a bottle of oil transforms into a shoot in which my stature reminds the audience of a blossoming lotus while my face is "light as a feather" feeling. We all make mistakes Tiana; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? All "mistakes" are life lessons. In times when I've felt like I could have taken a specific action or done something better, I remind myself that I cannot change what has already happened. That being said everything happens for a reason and I most certainly won't take back those mistakes for they have helped to refine who I am and got me to where I am in the present. Tiana, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I've always been professional and engaged when it comes to working with people. Being engaged in the creative process and understanding what their vision is, ensures that I will show up and be prepared. I want to do a tremendous job and make sure what we bring into existence will be worthwhile. Please tell us, Tiana, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? At this point friends, family and school are on the top list of priority. The rest of the time I have goes into acting/ print modelling along with the little things that give me pleasure. If my schedule begins to impact my social life or family, not in a positive manner, I do an adequate job of rebalancing aspects within my life. Tiana, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I've always been an open-minded person. I think I do a fantastic job at opening up people's perceptions. Whenever someone had an opinion or view that wasn't similar to my point of view, I always questioned his or her knowledge and asked them to explain to me his or her experience. This allowed me to understand their thought process or perception better. I haven't been in a scenario where I had to redirect someone, but if I were, I would open up their knowledge by giving them a full experience of what it would feel like being in the opposite end in a way that they would resonate with. Tiana, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Actor. Recently, I found out that I will be featuring in a film called "Medium- Rare" that will provide IMBD credits which is very exciting. Along with that being apart of my first modelling agency. Tiana, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? Recently, I was an extra for an Amazon Prime Show in which I had to portray a 1950's character. Although the outfit was chosen along with the hairstyle and makeup it gave me the creative freedom to describe a candid person in the 1950's. So I had fun with a little bit of being creative with detail. For instance, the body posture of a 1950's person but adding my energy and flair to it. Also, I collaborated with a photographer in Paris known as people.in.paris which was an amazing and thrilling experience. I had brought clothing options to the shoot and remember only using one outfit out of the five outfits I bought since the rest of the costumes were not of his preference. Although I just had one option, we delivered terrific results since I utilised the limitation that was present towards my advantage. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Actor?* * It's essential to explore who you are as a person and understand your limitations and how to expand those limitations. A great way to start is by utilising casting websites and obtaining a great photographer for your headshot. Using social media platforms such as Instagram can be used as your portfolio since people are constantly looking through your profile. R Bruce. Tell us ABOUT yourself. I received my first Kodak Brownie camera over 60 years ago, and have been in love with the art of photography ever since. I am very eclectic in my subject matter but specialise in onsite location shooting, model portfolios, and events. Believing that relationship undergirds all good interactions, I spend time getting to know and building rapport with clients, looking for those unguarded spontaneous moments that capture a person's personality. I can provide "wholesale" unedited material, or work with a client through the postproduction process for a pleasing end product. Of all the work I've ever done, my most enjoyable is my current ongoing work with the fantastic teenage twin models Fio and Flo Axel. I have been privileged to be their exclusive photographer for over two years, and they continue to delight and amaze me with their creativity and flexibility. I am currently accepting a limited number of new models and clients and would be pleased to discuss your needs and ideas and so a small sample shoot at no charge to see if we would be a good match. I am a Coachella Valley photographer specialising in: - model portfolios - workplace portraits - headshots - twins, siblings and friends - senior portraits - quincinera and sweet sixteen parties - family portraits Our readers would love to get to know you more R Bruce. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I love working with creative people, helping bring their vision of themselves and their world to life. My goal is not to enhance my career or reputation, but that of my clients. They are the stars; I am there to help make them shine. R Bruce, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer? My passion and aspiration are helping people unlock who they are and be all that God has created them to be. Who is your inspiration in life R Bruce? How do you stay inspired as Photographer? My inspiration comes from within as I feed my soul with good art, music, culture, books, worship, friendships, etc. I am who I am because of the 100's of people who have impacted my life - some in small ways, others in significant ways. I stay inspired by keeping my eyes and my heart open to all that is going on around me, focusing on the positive. We all make mistakes R Bruce; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? My biggest mistake has been trying to copy the style and approach and techniques of others instead of "going with my gut" and creating my style. R Bruce, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? My models and clients' wishes and desires are foremost. I enjoy people and have an easygoing personality with a generous side dish of humour that puts people at ease. Please tell us, R Bruce, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Family and friends are my top priority. Fortunately, most of my social life involves family and friends, so it's not an either-or but a both-and relationship. Even though I enjoy work, I try not to let work get in my way of meeting the needs of my family. R Bruce, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Fortunately, with digital cameras, we can show clients what we envision on the spot. For example, I've found that in taking family photographs suggesting people take off their shoes and socks and pose barefoot relaxes them and makes for a much more pleasing picture. R Bruce, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. Receiving awards for pro-bono work for the Chamber of Commerce, the Police Department and Non-profits. R Bruce, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? My most creative times have been discovering a location and persuading models and clients to pose there instead of in a studio. Recently I made trips with the Axel twins to Joshua Tree National Monument and Indian Canyons. There we discovered a stream and ended up making a short video of them splashing barefoot in the water to the music of Abba's "I crossed the stream." What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?* * Shoot any time, anywhere, as often as you can. Moreover, don't be afraid to try new things.

TORI
BOWMAN
Tori Bowman @toribowmanga Country United States State / Region Georgiaxa Others About Tori Bowman lives outside Atlanta, GA with her parents and is a 16-year-old homeschooled high school student. She is an only child and considers herself very blessed!! When not acting, modelling, doing school work or training she can be found golfing, swimming and hanging out with friends. For as long as she can remember, she wanted to be an actress and model and use her career to be a positive influence and role model for others. She started this path at five years old when she entered the Miss Dacula Pageant and was chosen as Petite Miss Dacula Sweetheart Princess. Over the next few years, she was involved in a variety of school, church and community performances, cheerleading, sports and other activities. During this time, many mentors and role models helped her solidify her dreams and passions with her determination to give back to young girls and teenagers and show that no matter what the circumstances are in someone’s life, or the challenges they face, dreams and goals in life are achievable without giving up one’s morals and integrity. She knows there are people in this world that try to squash dreams and goals, steal happiness and hurt others in unimaginable ways; but, thankfully, she also knows and wants to make sure others know there are even more people who will love them and support if allowed to do so. She wants to inspire young girls and teens to surround themselves with those who lift them up and help them stay focused on their goals and encourage them never to know they CAN be all that they dream of being!! She is living the example that dreams can and do come true as she manoeuvres her way thru establishing her career path of modelling and acting. Our readers would love to get to know you more Tori. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I don't know that there is anything "unique" about me. I truly believe we all have qualities and life purpose and it is up to us to identify those qualities so we can help others. Tori, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Others? I aspire to be an actor/model and to use any platform to help encourage and inspire others. My first memories of acting are from preschool when we performed Brown Bear, Brown Bear and participating in The Polar Express with Tavaci. Who is your inspiration in life Tori? How do you stay inspired as Others? My parents!! They support and encourage me and have my back no matter what. Their love is unconditional, and they've shown me how to move beyond tough situations and unbelievable circumstances and not let others hold me back from achieving my goals and dreams. We all make mistakes Tori; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? Not realising earlier that forgiving someone is more about my moving on with my life than about the other person. Now I have been able to forgive and forget about people and situations that have no room in my life and look only to the bright future ahead of me. Tori, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I try to treat others the way I want to be addressed. I try to walk into any situation as a team member and be the best the client needs me to be. Please tell us, Tori, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? Well first and above all else is my relationship with Jesus Christ. I find that when that relationship is stable and nurtured everything else falls into place. My second priority in my life is my family. I am so blessed to have the parents I have and supporting a family! My parents have raised me with a work ethic that work (and education) come before socialising. So being blessed to be homeschooled, my schedule is extremely flexible. My mom and I review our plan together at the start of every week and then start and end each day with a review. My idea always seems to just "work", and I know it because my parents have taught me to prioritise in this way. Tori, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Any time I step onto a set or in front of a camera I consider the "work" as a collaboration. Because we work together as a team, there is no need to persuade. It just works. Tori, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Others. There isn't just one. I consider every project an accomplishment. The amount of teamwork it takes sometimes is fantastic! Tori, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? As an actress and model, every project requires creativity in my work. Emotional scenes can be challenging but they are all exciting and the most exciting moment of all is when the project is released!! What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Others?* * Don't do this for anyone else's dream but your own. It has to be your passion, or it won't work long term. Don't take things personally or as rejection. You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find the prince of assignments.
