Gasper
Tratnik
Model, Entrepreneur
Name: Gasper Tratnik Country: Slovenia Contact: tratnik.gasper@gmail.com Website: gt-collection.com Social Media Account Links: https://www.instagram.com/gasper.tratnik/ https://www.facebook.com/GasperTratnikOfficial/ Profession: Model, Entrepreneur Your Story: Hi Gasper, it’s been three years since we have first approached and interviewed you. How’s life going? Hello and thank you for having me on board again. Life is going good, I can say. I've been pretty busy in the last two years. I'm not travelling as a model anymore, because I put my focus on developing my personal brand, which takes me a lot of time. Do you still model or you focus as an entrepreneur nowadays? I still do modelling in my country, but this is not my primar y job anymore. My main focus now is entrepreneurship and developing my personal brand called GT collection. It's just the next step in my modelling career.
Do you still model or you focus as an entrepreneur nowadays? I still do modelling in my country, but this is not my primary job anymore. My main focus now is entrepreneurship and developing my personal brand called GT collection. It's just the next step in my modelling career.
Tell us more about GT-Collection? I founded GT collection in summer 2017. When I returned back to my country in 2016, I started to think about something more, something more in my modelling career. At first, I had no idea in which direction I should go, but after some time, I got a vision and a dream that brought me where I am right now. I did a lot of researches that year, and I've read many entrepreneurial books, I studied online marketing and design, and in summer 2017, I opened my online shop with first products. My first products were designer jewellery made of spirituality healing gemstones, and then I slowly added more and more items under my collection. Now, after two years of hard work GT collection offers also timeless and elegant watches, premium apparel and leather goods. Take a look at gtcollection.com for more.
How did you transition as a model to model/entrepreneur? As I already mentioned before, I got a vision that I want to do something more in my modelling career. At first, I had to change my mindset, and I did this with reading books for personal growth and entrepreneurship. I had to learn many new things, that's why I invested a lot of money into online educational courses. Before when I was working full time as a model, I was all the time working for someone else for different brands. But now that I have my personal brand, I work all the time for myself and my company. This is a huge difference in your mindset, and I must admit that's worth it.

Can you say that you are successful at this moment? I can say that I'm successful with what I'm currently doing, but definitely, I'm not satisfied yet with where I am at the this moment.
What is the dream, Gasper? Everyone can explain his dream in different ways, but my goal is that one day I can offer our items in many retail shops worldwide, and when I walk around, I will see people wearing my brand GT collection.Â
Why did you decide to choose a creative designer/entrepreneur as a career? Actually, I did not choose this from the beginning; everything was spontaneous. First, I was working as a model, then I got a new idea to have a personal brand, and after that, this idea has grown into a real company. But I think that one of the most important things was an idea to work for myself and not for others anymore. What according to you is a favourite part of being a creative designer/entrepreneur? I like to mix fashion with culture, creating pieces that are trendy with the significant cultural history behind it. My extensive knowledge and experience in the fashion industry mean I know everything about the latest trends.
The designs you created are no doubt great, but who and which things were your inspiration while creating such designs? I've been working in the fashion industry since 2013 and after meeting my idol, David Gandy, in Hong Kong, I became inspired to launch my own personal brand. There is also another great model/entrepreneur from Italy; his name is Mariano Di Vaio. He's also my inspiration for many things I'm doing.
What skills, according to you, are necessary for a successful creative designer/entrepreneur? I think you just need a very good imagination and vision in your designs. Of course, you need to do market research and learn from other great people/ entrepreneurs.
How do you stay up to date regarding fashion and designing your creations? I read many fashion articles, I follow different fashion designers, and then I get many inspirations about new items that I want to launch. When you are working in this business, you need to be up to date all the time and follow all fashion trends to be a step ahead of your competition.
What can you tell someone is new and starting in this field? Don't give up! If you have a vision and dreams that you wanna do something, you can do it! Just work hard for it; learn everything from more successful people, invest your money and time into knowledge. Be ready for failures; be ready that you will lose some money and believe in yourself. Mindset is everything. Find your mentor, find your team, because, with their help, you will reach your goal much faster.

Yves Tsou
FASHION STYLIST
Yves Tsou @hyvaapaivaayva https://www.instagram.com/hyvaapaivaayva/ Country Italy State / Region Milan Fashion Stylist
ABOUT Before getting into fashion, I was studying language studies and International Relations. The previous experience in studying in di!erent human science field gives me a more general understanding of the multi-cultural content that I wish to play in my styling work. I believe my knowledge in a di!erent discipline will make me create artwork which is trendy with a more profound meaning rather than to be on-topic, to seek attention and to be sensational. Yves, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Fashion Stylist? My passion in life is fashion. Fashion is a passion as I always said. I lived in Milan shortly in 2015, meeting a lot of fashion students here intrigued my interest in pursuing fashion studies. After returning to Taipei, one of my good friends decided to quit his previous job and invited me to be his stylist, styling the models he shot. That's how I start everything. Who is your inspiration in life Yves? How do you stay inspired as a Fashion Stylist? Techno party scenes, subculture, gender ambiguity and cultural context. I go to parties constantly, to see how to do the cool party kids dress. Also, I read fashion magazine's editorial, editorial and check some independent fashion magazine to get inspiration from some of the greatest. We all make mistakes Yves; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? I wish to discover my real interest earlier since I've been working two to three years in some jobs which I didn't enjoy. But I also believe that every piece of the moment in life matter, they fulfil your life journey and give you the nutrient to grow stronger and to blossom. Yves, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? I am creative and artsy; I prefer to improvise with the photographers and models on set rather than plan things earlier and limit the imaginary. Also, I am a perfectionist. I like to make things good instead of to get by. I am also good at handling contingencies and damage control, in order to facilitate the work to the utmost.
Please tell us, Yves, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I think they are equally important; however, when there are works to do, I would always prefer to go for it and do my best. I would sacrifice a bit of social life to compromise. Friends and family are always at your back. I don't think they should be neglected. Yves, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Once, my teammate in school changes the cover of the presentation without telling the whole team, making it looks like a financial statement report due to his lack of aesthetics. He insists on the one that he made is according to the guideline of the brief, which is not completely true. I tried to persuade him by telling him that we are doing a creative project instead of a business report, and encourage him to think outside the box and design something within the framework but not completely follow the guideline. Eventually, we had a better cover and received a full mark on the project. Yves, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Stylist. I've done a school project in collaboration with L'O#ciel Italia before, the outcome is beautiful, and everybody loves it, which make me content and proud of my team. Yves, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or di#cult about it? I have so many creative moments that I would like to share to in person, so I will keep it until we meet. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Fashion Stylist? My advice is to to do whatever you think it's beautiful. Not everyone is sharing the same aesthetics; if you insist on what you believe is good, you will be seen eventually.

Leandro Conti Celestini
Leandro Conti Celestini @tigerheatproductions https://www.instagram.com/tigerheatproductions/ Country United States State / Region California Fashion Label
ABOUT After a Master's degree in Art History and almost 20 years in fashion photography, I started a research on fashion design, and with some friends, we came up with a unique model of bodysuit for guys: the main inspirations come from the bathing suit of the '40s, the Imaginarium of the circus of the '20s, the wrestlers of the '90s, but also the ballet, the yoga and the lounging world. We are based in California, but we have been selling worldwide, and our Instagram is constantly growing; we are planning to launch a second model of bodysuit soon. Leandro, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Fashion Label? I have always been interested in Art History, I love the great maestri painters, and all my inspirations come from there: the use of lighting, body shapes, the colors. We are trying to mix our product with the art world, featuring artists that represent our bodysuit in their artworks. We don't know where we are going, but we are having fun, and we are happy with all the positive feedback people to give us every day! Who is your inspiration in life Leandro? How do you stay inspired as a Fashion Label? I am constantly inspired by art, painting in particular and photography in second place; I am very nostalgic, but I don't have a person that inspires me, I am more inspired by a certain time period: it could be the Old Hollywood of the '40s, the Milan of the '80s, and many ideas come everyday! We all make mistakes Leandro; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? Maybe I should have dared more when I was younger: I have always been pretty respectful and conservative, I wonder how it could have been to be a bad boy. Leandro, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? Professional, cultured, creative Please tell us, Leandro, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? I am pretty good at mixing these things without creating a mess! Leandro, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I have a very strong cultural background, and people respect that; if someone asks for my expertise, it is because they know I can offer something very good. Leandro, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Label. We are pretty new, only six months, but our Instagram is growing every day, we are getting requests and sales as we did not expect and we have been asked from a couple of big magazines a piece for their photoshoot. We are very excited! Leandro, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? Our brand connects fashion with many other aspects, such as art, sports, leisure and we are always open and interested to hear ideas from our customers. Of course, the hardest part is the pr cause nobody of us is a good pr, we are too much of artists, but we are learning, and we love the process. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Fashion Label? Believe in yourself and your product. Photo Credits: Photographer @tigerheatproductions
