I f!l that you learn from mistakes and every

mistake I’ve made in my life has b!n something

I’ve learned from. I’ve always b!n a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. With that being said, I don’t think I would take anything back because I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Caroline Capito @carolinecapito Country United States State / Region Ohio Our readers would love to get to know you more Caroline. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer? I’m currently a student at the University of Alabama and me also a model. I’ve been modelling for a few years now, and I’ve enjoyed it. I love working with brands and enjoy shoots with creative concepts. I feel that Instagram has helped grow my platform. I love that I can use it as my portfolio and know that every picture I post will get much engagement. Caroline, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model? I love art, and I’ve always been an artistic individual. I feel that modelling helps me embrace that part of me. Who is your inspiration in life Caroline? How do you stay inspired as Model? I’m always looking through fashion magazines and model’s Instagrams for ideas. I love how everyone has their style, and it’s allowed me to develop my own. We all make mistakes Caroline; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back? I feel that you learn from mistakes and every mistake I’ve made in my life has been something I’ve learned from. I’ve always been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. With that being said, I don’t think I would take anything back because I wouldn’t be where I am today. Caroline, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients? I’ve always been professional and involved when it comes to working with people. After all, I want to do a great job and make sure we create something that we are proud of. So being involved in the creative process and knowing what they wish to beforehand ensures that I will show up and prepared. Please tell us, Caroline, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family? School, friends and family come first. Any time that I have left goes to modelling. Personally, I think I do a great job prioritising everything. If my schedule begins to impact my family or the social life, negatively I do a good job of rebalancing everything. Caroline, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I am always open to everyone’s opinions and ideas. Luckily I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve had to redirect someone. I still work with amazing artistic people, and the final product always turns out beautiful. Caroline, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. Recently, I’ve started working with many clothing boutiques. I’ve always wanted to model unique clothing brands, and I’m so happy that I am finally able to do so. Caroline, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it? Recently, I did a shoot with a Columbus photographer named Rakib. He told me he wanted to do a red series and left the outfits up to me. I ended up putting together this outfit that matched the location correctly. It was completely unintentional but looked very editorial. We shot outside of the Columbus Museum of Art in front of a Blue, White and Red sculpture. My outfit was those exact colors, and it couldn’t have turned out better. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?* * It’s essential that you have your unique style or look that sets you apart from people. I also think Instagram is a great tool that can help display that. A lot of brands and talented photographers use social media to scout potential models and influencers. Using social media as a portfolio can get your name out there.

Gasper

Tratnik

Model, Entrepreneur

Name: Gasper Tratnik Country: Slovenia Contact: tratnik.gasper@gmail.com Website: gt-collection.com Social Media Account Links: https://www.instagram.com/gasper.tratnik/ https://www.facebook.com/GasperTratnikOfficial/ Profession: Model, Entrepreneur Your Story: Hi Gasper, it’s been three years since we have first approached and interviewed you. How’s life going? Hello and thank you for having me on board again. Life is going good, I can say. I've been pretty busy in the last two years. I'm not travelling as a model anymore, because I put my focus on developing my personal brand, which takes me a lot of time. Do you still model or you focus as an entrepreneur nowadays? I still do modelling in my country, but this is not my primar y job anymore. My main focus now is entrepreneurship and developing my personal brand called GT collection. It's just the next step in my modelling career.

Do you still model or you focus as an entrepreneur nowadays? I still do modelling in my country, but this is not my primary job anymore. My main focus now is entrepreneurship and developing my personal brand called GT collection. It's just the next step in my modelling career.

Tell us more about GT-Collection? I founded GT collection in summer 2017. When I returned back to my country in 2016, I started to think about something more, something more in my modelling career. At first, I had no idea in which direction I should go, but after some time, I got a vision and a dream that brought me where I am right now. I did a lot of researches that year, and I've read many entrepreneurial books, I studied online marketing and design, and in summer 2017, I opened my online shop with first products. My first products were designer jewellery made of spirituality healing gemstones, and then I slowly added more and more items under my collection. Now, after two years of hard work GT collection offers also timeless and elegant watches, premium apparel and leather goods. Take a look at gtcollection.com for more.

How did you transition as a model to model/entrepreneur? As I already mentioned before, I got a vision that I want to do something more in my modelling career. At first, I had to change my mindset, and I did this with reading books for personal growth and entrepreneurship. I had to learn many new things, that's why I invested a lot of money into online educational courses. Before when I was working full time as a model, I was all the time working for someone else for different brands. But now that I have my personal brand, I work all the time for myself and my company. This is a huge difference in your mindset, and I must admit that's worth it.

Can you say that you are successful at this moment? I can say that I'm successful with what I'm currently doing, but definitely, I'm not satisfied yet with where I am at the this moment.

What is the dream, Gasper? Everyone can explain his dream in different ways, but my goal is that one day I can offer our items in many retail shops worldwide, and when I walk around, I will see people wearing my brand GT collection.Â

Why did you decide to choose a creative designer/entrepreneur as a career? Actually, I did not choose this from the beginning; everything was spontaneous. First, I was working as a model, then I got a new idea to have a personal brand, and after that, this idea has grown into a real company. But I think that one of the most important things was an idea to work for myself and not for others anymore. What according to you is a favourite part of being a creative designer/entrepreneur? I like to mix fashion with culture, creating pieces that are trendy with the significant cultural history behind it. My extensive knowledge and experience in the fashion industry mean I know everything about the latest trends.

The designs you created are no doubt great, but who and which things were your inspiration while creating such designs? I've been working in the fashion industry since 2013 and after meeting my idol, David Gandy, in Hong Kong, I became inspired to launch my own personal brand. There is also another great model/entrepreneur from Italy; his name is Mariano Di Vaio. He's also my inspiration for many things I'm doing.

What skills, according to you, are necessary for a successful creative designer/entrepreneur? I think you just need a very good imagination and vision in your designs. Of course, you need to do market research and learn from other great people/ entrepreneurs.

How do you stay up to date regarding fashion and designing your creations? I read many fashion articles, I follow different fashion designers, and then I get many inspirations about new items that I want to launch. When you are working in this business, you need to be up to date all the time and follow all fashion trends to be a step ahead of your competition.

What can you tell someone is new and starting in this field? Don't give up! If you have a vision and dreams that you wanna do something, you can do it! Just work hard for it; learn everything from more successful people, invest your money and time into knowledge. Be ready for failures; be ready that you will lose some money and believe in yourself. Mindset is everything. Find your mentor, find your team, because, with their help, you will reach your goal much faster.

Marcia Gamma marciaegama@gmail.com @marciagamma http:// www.marciagamma.comCountryBrazil State / RegionSĂƒÂŁo Paulo-S Photographer ABOUT My passion moves me, in each job I give myself to what I like to do, to create and to work as a team. Marcia, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer? Creating is my passion, I finish one work already thinking about the next one, and I only feel complete when I am creating something new.My relationship with photography began very early, like a child's play, when I was nine when I created scenes with my dolls. Who is your inspiration in life Marcia? How do you keep inspired? The beauty of life, every little thing can be a great inspiration at the right time.

We all make mistakes Marcia; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague. I consider myself a lucky person because I have always been able to work with a great team, tuned. But if there is one thing I would have liked to have done better is to have been more firm in my opinions, but I have learned this over time. Marcia, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs? I try to stay focused on the organisation. I have a fairly methodical workflow, and this helps me to stay focused on the right place. Please tell us, Marcia, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer? I try to keep everything as simple as possible, following the maxim that says less is more, that way I feel free to explore the full potential of the moment. Marcia, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. Once I had a big problem with equipment on the set, which prevented me from following the original briefing, while my assistant ran after a solution I talked to the client and managed to convince him to change the strategy, showing him that plan B could be even better and indeed it was, as it made more sense in the whole of the brand. Marcia, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why? I feel very satisfied after each work, and I already think about the next one, but without a doubt what made me proud was the editorial "Painted Lights", because I was able to print with maximum fidelity the concept I had planned, without escaping any detail and because of the technique employed, long exposure and blending flash with continuous light that I had never explored and managed to master without difficulty. Marcia, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? In my author work, I always look for concepts that can take my creativity a step further, so I believe that everyone is a good example of this, I could not highlight just one. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer? Study the light very much, try and improve your technique to the maximum and be persistent. Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for? I'm always open to collaborating with a creative and passionate team, so I look for collaborators who love photography and who like to explore their possibilities.

Albert R!d

Albert Reed @tatted.al https://www.instagram.com/tatted.al/ Country United States State / Region Texas Model

ABOUT

I think what makes me unique is my personality and my appearance. With me being 25, I'm learning to live a little more freely and try new things. I have a body full of colorful, bold tattoos (thanks to @krystals_tatted) which sets me apart from others. I can go from the innocent boy next door to the crazy rebel in a matter of seconds LOL.

Albert, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model? I am SO passionate about modeling. I've never wanted anything this much like I do modeling. I've always known early on that I wanted to model, but it took a long while for me to give myself that push to get started. Insecurities and self-doubt had a lot to do with that until one day I said to myself _„ñWhy not start today?_.„ And here I am! Who is your inspiration in life, Albert? How do you stay inspired as a Model? I admire so many people! But I take a lot of inspiration from the ASOS models. They're all so unique and creative in they're own personal lives and I love that! We all make mistakes, Albert; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back? A mistake I wish I could take back would honestly have to be delaying my growth by not starting this dream as early as I should have. So much wasted time where I could've been learning so much and could have progressed so much further than I have now. Albert, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients? I believe I work GREAT with other creatives. I take direction very well, and it's fun working with people who might do things differently than I would normally default to.

Please tell us, Albert, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family? Without my family, I would not have been able to overcome most of the obstacles I came face to face with, and the friends that I have are also like family. I would place work a bit social media, even though social media is becoming an important part of how us beginner models are getting our start.

Albert, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully. I believe in order to get someone to see things your way; you must first do the same for them. Then you have to embellish your reasoning to make your idea sound like the better, more logical plan to go with LOL! Albert, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. So recently, I am walking in a fashion for the first time, and it was so amazing! The show was for JB's Thrifted Styles in Dallas, Texas. I'm so thankful for that opportunity because it's something I never thought I'd ever been able to do, with me being only 5'9_„. The energy was so great, and I enjoyed being around other creatives and like-minded individuals! Albert, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it? One of the shoots I'd done, I styled myself. I was so nervous because instead of going to a store, I ordered the clothing and almost nothing fit! I decided to go with a red kilt and black harness, and it was so interesting because it wasn't my normal style, nor was it anything I was used to seeing where I lived. What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model? Win me still being in the beginning stages; my best advice would be to go for it. You won't learn anything until you're doing it. Don't be afraid to network or ask for help either. And remember that YOU are your worst critic. If you exude positive vibes, positive things will happen. Photo Credits: Photographer: Jason Fitzgerald

Nilay Camilleri Profession: Designer Instagram Account: https://www.instagram.com/nilara_brand/ Website or social media link: http://www.nilara.com.mt/home About: N. Camilleri is the woman behind the Nilara Design Concept. With no background whatsoever in fashion designing, the quest of finding the perfect, million dollar dress which she took upon herself continued well into her adult life until a landmark event inspired her to start designing and launch her collection. And soon the fabulous Nilara was born!!. Your Story Nilara, the brainchild of the visionary N. Camilleri started with an engaging evening wear collection, with the brand reaching unprecedented heights, becoming a household name synonymous with delectable, showstopping gowns, the go-to name for red carpet glamour. It doesn’t end there; recognizing a huge gap in the market for the woman with a curvier, more voluptuous figure, the sensational plus size range Nilara Curve launched was met with huge acclaim. Successfully bridging the boundaries between size, proportion, and style, it remains one of the very few brands which cater to the substantial segment of the female population boasting more realistic curves. Exploring the mantra; with attention to design and proportion every woman can look and feel fabulous, Nilara is a godsend to women whose figures do not conform to the catwalk ideal. With an ever-expanding portfolio, Nilara also recognizes the need to translate its concept of glamour, style, and elegance into smart casualwear; a sector in the fashion industry which is most often neglected, which is how the most anticipated, new line Just Nilara came into being. Created with the sophisticated woman in mind, the type of woman for whom taste is not restricted to a specific time of day. Just Nilara continues in the brand’s signature attention to detail, perfect tailoring and fit A vision which has to constantly take into account the fact that women are all entirely different, in shape, size, and mindset but who are all after one goal; that of looking and feeling the best they can, without sacrificing their individuality and sense of self. Since its inception, Nilara has evolved to accommodate all this without ever relinquishing on the elegance factor. Sarah Mcivor

Sarah Mcivor Profession: Student and model Instagram Account: @sarah_jayde86 About: I am 33, Christchurch born and raised. Mummy to 12wk old cheeky rescue kitten, Aunty to 7 amazing little ones, daughter, sister and loved a friend to many. I’m a strong, outgoing, loyal, compassionate, and resilient person. I am a full-time student who has gone back to study Animal Welfare Investigations as I have had enough of animal abuse in NZ, and I want to make a change. This NEEDS to change! Animals are family; they are pure, loyal, loving sentient beings who feel pain, sadness, and distress just like us; people need to know this! However, they do not have a voice, and I am going to give them just that, a voice through justice. Always treat anyone or anything the way you like to be treated. Respect the world around you and the people in it, always! I volunteer at SPCA too. I also have a passion for modeling and fashion; when I am modeling, I am completely within myself and find it a great form of mindfulness and self-reflection. It also gives me confidence and along with a great sense of empowerment. “Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone” Xx Your Story I grew up in a struggling family; my dad walked out, leaving us to live off the city mission and me having to leave school at 15 and raise my siblings as my mother was severely depressed. My biggest struggles in life right now are battling with CAD (Chronic Anxiety Disorder) major depression and PTSD. I got diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and PTSD in 2014 when I was 28 due to the Canterbury Earthquakes in 2011. My brain had blocked a lot of that horrid day out my head (I was in the CBD and witnessed people getting crushed, buildings falling around me, walking over bodies and hearing so many people crying and yelling for help as they were stuck) there was nothing I could do except try get myself and my best friend who I was with to safety and try to stay alive through every aftershock ourselves. I lost a close friend and her baby in the Feb quake due to a facade falling on them in the city. She died holding her baby, who was only 4 weeks old. I feel I’ve had anxiety all my life, but then I hit rock bottom at 28. 3yrs after the quakes... I did not see it coming at all. I shut myself away for months, didn’t shower, eat, leave my room or the house. I quit my job and stopped caring about myself altogether. I did not want to exist. It took 3 months and my family to make me realize I was not well until one day I looked in the mirror and realized I needed help. This was when the diagnosis and treatment began. I was so weak, and with a head full of suicidal thoughts and darkness, I could not see a way out. After 4yrs of medication, counseling, group workshops, and believing in myself, I finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel. Only last year, I went off my medication, and I felt myself again. In 2017 I began working again and slowly getting back to the old Sarah that was outgoing and bubbly. It was the best feeling in the world, the world was my oyster, and I am now stronger and more determined than ever before to become a model as it was something that a few years ago seemed so far out of reach, yet here I am! I’m one of the lucky ones that came out the other side, and I will never take this for granted. I’m more driven than ever. I’m so excited for what life has in store for me, becoming a model and an SPCA inspector and everything that comes with it. My life has done a complete 180° turn, and I couldn’t be happier!! I still have my down days like anybody, but Life is a journey, and it is a real struggle at times, trust me I know, but if you believe in yourself you can do anything!! I love modeling and the feeling I get while doing a shoot...if I can get featured in this magazine. I will feel a great sense of pride and accomplishment like never before. Home of the greatest football team ever the Pittsburgh Steelers and amongst the hard working people of that great state. My beautiful parents raised me in Wilkinsburg. I have 5 sisters. I grew up in a low poverty neighborhood, but I had always had big dreams to become somebody the world would know. I wasn't going to allow my situation to determine my outcome in life. I joined the military for 4 years and moved around for a couple of years. Received my degree in broadcasting and now I'm currently in Ga. I BELIEVE THAT SMALL PROGRESSION IS BETTER THAN NO PROGRESSION. I know with Lord on my side, everything is possible. Never give up on your dreams. Your Story Grew up in a poor neighborhood, all that I saw was drugs and violence — girls with a lot of kids and on welfare. I didn't want that for my life, and I knew at a young age I will have to sacrifice for a better life for me and my life that's why I told myself at the age of 12 that I will join the military to pave the way for a better future. I knew I wasn't college ready because I never was book smart, and I didn't have the focus yet. Photo Credits: klowephotography
