KINGS OF THE SOUTHWEST: Archbishop Moeller and Centerville have combined to win the last six Cincinnati regional championships dating back to 2017. The Crusaders won the region in 2017, 2018 and 2019, where the Elks have won it in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Additionally, there has not been a regional without Archbishop Moeller or Centerville since the 2014 tournament. The last team outside of Crusaders and the Elks to win the regional was Wilmington in 2016.

GOING FROM ELITE TO THE FINAL FOUR: The Crusaders are appearing in their 15th Elite Eight in program history and are 8-6 (.571) in this round of the tournament. The Crusaders have won three of their last four Elite Eight games dating back to the 2017 tournament.

REGIONAL FINAL REMATCH: Archbishop Moeller and Centerville will be meeting in the regional final for the third time in the last six years. The Crusaders and Elks have split the previous two matchups with Archbishop Moeller defeating Centerville, 59-41 in 2019 and Centerville winning the 2021 match-up, 40-38

TOP DOG AGAIN: Archbishop Moeller is a #1 seed in the OHSAA Tournament for the 8th time since 2010.
