JUNE: Montana Surf World Cup Camp SESSION 1: JUNE 17-21, 2024 SESSION 2: JUNE 24-28, 2024 The fun kicks off just after the school year ends with Montana Surf World Cup Camp. World Cup Camp will bring the excitement of the World Cup tournament to the Bozeman area. Players ages 4 to 14 will have the opportunity to train with Surf’s “best of the best” coaching staff during a weeklong camp session that will culminate with the Montana Surf World Cup tournament. Campers will begin the week with skill progressive sessions and small-sided games focused on individual player development. Mid-week, campers will be placed on a team representing one of the countries that competed in the World Cup. Coaches will turn the focus to team play and game strategy in preparation for Friday’s tournament. On Friday, parents will be invited to join campers for the Opening Ceremony, Parade of Nations and the Montana Surf World Cup. All players will receive a jersey and a Montana Surf World Cup medal.
JULY: Yellowstone Soccer Experience Competitive Camp JULY 8-11, 2024 Licensed Coach Matt Prewett will lead the Yellowstone Soccer Experience Competitive Camp for the eighth year in a row. Coach Prewett served as Head Coach of the University of Texas Men’s Soccer team for 14 seasons, from 2004-2017. Coaching alongside him will be Malcolm Framjee, 2023 Texas High School Coach of the Year. These high-intensity camp sessions will blend advanced technical and tactical concepts to challenge players by getting them out of their normal comfort zones, and to help players solve in-game problems presented to them on both the attacking and defensive sides of the ball. This camp is intended for players who currently play select, club or high school soccer. Coaches Prewett and Framjee will prepare and develop these players for High School tryouts and beyond.
