Discover Classics FIND VINTAGE VEGAS AT ITS FINEST. Las Vegas brings so much more than neon lights and gambling. Find out more about the historical side of the city with these top concierge tips. RALPH CARL JUNIO, CONCIERGE AT WYNN LAS VEGAS Downtown Las Vegas is by far the best place to experience classic Las Vegas. From all of the historic hotels and casinos lining the Fremont Street Experience to the different exhibits such as the Mob Museum and the Neon Museum, you are certain to have a great time exploring the Downtown scene. NORMA CABRERA, CONCIERGE AT THE MIRAGE The Mob Museum over in downtown is the best place to get to know the roots of this great city. And not too far from there is Oscar’s, which is a classic Las Vegas steakhouse.
JASMYN LAM, CONCIERGE AT WYNN Downtown is the place to be! Visit stops like The Mob Museum, The Neon Museum, Fremont Street Experience, The Golden Nugget and The Four Queens. Not only will you learn a lot, but it’s such a fun outing with a group of friends. MARCEY ESSES, CONVENTION SPECIALIST AT MORRIS VISITOR PUBLICATIONS I love to send guests to Benihana at Westgate, where the show at the table is just as much fun as the food. The Peppermill on Las Vegas Boulevard just captures vintage Vegas. It’s open 24 hours, bedazzled in neon and a great place to

visit late at night. I always recommend stopping by the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill for a cocktail at the firepit. Black Canyon Adventures is a great way to see the Colorado River and Lake Mead. The tour even includes the Hoover Dam. DAVID MCMAHON, CONCIERGE AT THE WALDORF ASTORIA The Fremont Street Experience in Downtown features classic Las Vegas options including Oscar’s Steakhouse at the Plaza and the Golden Nugget (Steve Wynn’s first Vegas property). Caesars Palace’s original casino— lower ceilings and 1970s chandeliers—still has the classic Vegas vibe. CECILIA ALLRED, CONCIERGE SUPERVISOR AND THE VENETIAN AND PALAZZO Downtown Las Vegas! It is iconic in its action packed activities and old school vibe. Most guests aren’t old enough to remember classic Vegas though, but they want the feel of the Rat Pack nightclub shows and the showgirls they have seen in the movies. The lounges in town still give us the cool, hip intimacy we all want to experience with our friends. Everything old is new again. KATHLEEN HOPAY, CONCIERGE AT MANDALAY BAY I love to send the The Neon Museum is such an amazing place! I love how the preservation of Las Vegas has been kept intact. It is like taking a step into the past and walking through history. Every town has its own story and for Vegas it is in its lights and signs. …They offer day and night tours, and at night a few of the restored signs are lit and brought back to life in their shining glory.
