Scream-Inducing Sin City By Susan Stapleton
The most haunting month of the year is here, and for many, the desire to jump out of your skin in an escape room, peer warily over your shoulder as you study haunted objects and keel over laughing at a silly and spooky show, arrives as well. Read on for a few of our favorite frights.
ZAK BAGANS’ THE HAUNTED MUSEUM Zak Bagans, of Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” fame, took his love of all things paranormal and created a museum dedicated to the dead. Zak Bagans’ The Haunted
Museum features 30 rooms, each revealing a different creepy object, including a haunted staircase from Indiana’s Demon House, and, what it claims is the world’s most haunted object, the Dybbuk Box. HAUNTED TITANIC: THE ARTIFACT EXHIBITION Ever since Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition opened at the Luxor, staff and visitors alike have felt paranormal activity taking place. Sometimes, visitors feel as if someone is following them. Others say they’ve seen ghosts, including a lady wearing a black period dress with her hair tied up in a bun. Watch your back as you pass the

THE OFFICIAL “SAW” ESCAPE Escape room devotees can step inside the iconic horror movie franchise, “Saw,” during their visit to Vegas. The Official “Saw” Escape experience features Jigsaw and his followers, who make each room into a series of thrilling puzzles based on the movies. The historic Egan & Co. Meat Packing Plant sets the scene for screams.
From left: Feel a chill down your spine as you explore Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum; Zombie Burlesque is unlike anything else you’ll see on the Strip; Swing by the Luxor and seek out the spirits that are said to haunt Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition.

replica of the Titanic’s staircase— that’s where she’s been known to wander. In October, visitors to the 25,000 square-foot-exhibit can hear scary tales from staff. ZOMBIE BURLESQUE This burlesque show inside Club Z (we mortals know it as V Theater) brings a world of undead debauchery for the living to enjoy. Showgoers are transported back to 1958, where they hear how the president struck a deal with invading zombies. Now, the monsters “live” among us, running a club that features risque performances by “the most beautiful (dead) women in town.” What could be more Vegas? CRISS ANGEL MINDFREAK Fans of the master of macabre magic can see Criss Angel in a refreshed 90-minute show at Planet Hollywood Resort. MINDFREAK is packed with more than 75 of Angel’s top illusions,
including a levitation trick, which keeps audiences scratching their heads. You’ll be on the edge of your seat during this “freaky” show. EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL The cult classic movie “The Evil Dead” and its followups—”Evil Dead 2” and “Army of Darkness”—come to life on-stage, replete with song and dance, in Evil Dead The Musical. Take five college kids who end up in an abandoned cabin in the woods and inadvertently unleash something evil; then, add a demon-killer, armed with a chainsaw, and horrifying hilarity ensues. Those who are truly in the Halloween spirit can request seats in the splatter zone to get covered in fake blood. Beware! Many of these frights have an age limit or require parental supervision to enter.
