Update Your Selfie MARCEY ESSES, CONVENTION SERVICES SPECIALIST AT MORRIS VISITOR PUBLICATIONS Get a table at Hexx or Chateau and have the Fountains at Bellagio in the background. Anything at Paris with the fountains behind you is fabulous. When you’re in the Eiffel Tower restaurant 13 stories above the Strip, there’s no obstruction to the view of the fountains. The Park between New York-New York and Park MGM in the fall when the weather is nice has a nice ambiance to it, especially when you have kids. You can walk around out there and not feel restricted. Get “Bliss Dance,” the 40-foot-
tall sculpture of a dancing woman, in the background for a very Vegas moment. NORMA CABRERA, CONCIERGE AT THE MIRAGE Skyfall Lounge at the Delano has, in my opinion, the best view of the Las Vegas Strip. Fremont Street Experience is a great shot as well especially during the light show at night. BRIANA RICHMOND, CONCIERGE AT THE VENETIAN I would recommend the most photographed spot in Las Vegas, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, or the new “Love” installation in our waterfall atrium.

JASMYN LAM, CONCIERGE AT WYNN LAS VEGAS Dress to impress when attending any one of Wynn’s three venues—XS, Intrigue or Encore Beach Club—and get a selfie with The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Kygo or any of your other favorite DJs. TINA MCCONNELL, CONCIERGE AT THE WESTIN LAS VEGAS Probably the beach at Mandalay Bay because I love the beach. DAVID MCMAHON, CONCIERGE AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL I would suggest taking a beautiful aerial view of the strip during your Maverick Helicopter ride, Red Rock Canyon’s natural wonder, or an architecturally pleasing background consisting of Mandarin Oriental, Aria and The Shops at Crystals.
NATALEE SIMMONS, CONCIERGE AT THE COSMOPOLITAN I love to send them to the High Roller at The Linq Promenade. I always recommend they take the 30-minute ride during sunset. Visitors would never guess that we have some of the most beautiful sunsets in Las Vegas because of our surrounding mountains. RALPH CARL JUNIO, CONCIERGE AT WYNN LAS VEGAS One of my favorite places to send firsttime Vegas visitors to is the world-famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. It’s one of those iconic sites of Las Vegas that you will need to visit at least once, and taking a picture with it makes for a great social media profile picture.

Tina McConnell Concierge at the Westin Las Vegas
Q: Tell me about one of your favorite places to send first-time Vegas visitors. A: I always suggest walking the Strip and checking out some of the hotel architecture. I love the Bellagio Conservatory, The High Roller at The Linq Promenade and I love recommending Fremont Street Experience. It’s always a hit for any guests of all ages. Q: Tell me about your favorite hidden gem in Las Vegas. A: The Neon Museum. It’s not really hidden but I definitely think it’s underrated. This is perfect for anyone because the pictures are great and who doesn’t want a good Instagram photo to post about your vacation? You get to see all the classic Vegas hotel signs and get great photo ops while you’re there. Q: Where should I eat if I want to celebrate a special occasion? How hard is it to get a reservation while I’m in Las Vegas? A: I am going to be basic but I would recommend either the Eiffel Tower because you get the view of the Bellagio Fountains or Top of the World at Stratosphere because what’s more romantic than a nice city view? Reservations aren’t too bad to get, normally pretty easy if you make them in advance. Q: What’s the must-see show in Las Vegas right now? A: “Zumanity” is still one of my favorites and a good classic. If you haven’t seen it, it is still a must-see. I love the humor, I love the Cirque du Soleil performances. Q: What tips do you give first-timers? A: A great tip for anyone visiting Las Vegas is suggesting our great Strip transportation service, the RTC bus. It’s inexpensive and the best, in my opinion, way to get around Las Vegas. It’s also very easy to navigate and guests love when I suggest this because they feel like I am saving them tons of money. Las Vegas Your Way
Adrenaline Junkies

Foodies
Enjoy a thrill of a lifetime with these attractions that get you high, whether for a sightseeing adventure, a freefall through the air or in a simulated skydiving adventure. (1) Maverick Helicopter Tours (888.261.4414) offers VIPlevel service from two locations: Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Enjoy the comforts of the Eco-Star helicopter, which features individual leather, theater-style seating, extended leg room and outstanding visibility. Plummet off the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Tower at 40 MPH at this, the world’s highest “controlled freefall,” (2) SkyJump (Stratosphere, 702.380.7777). Experience skydiving within a vertical wind tunnel, with air speeds up to 120 mph, simulating the free-fall of skydiving at (3) Vegas Indoor Skydiving (Convention Center Drive, 702.731.4768).
Any doctor will tell you that laughter is the best medicine, and in Las Vegas, the laughs are plenty with these comedians. (1) Carrot Top (Luxor, 702.262.4400), the red-haired comedian, keeps his audience in stitches as he unpacks trunkloads of crazy props and wacky inventions. No two shows are ever alike since Scott Thompson, the man behind the name, improvises every night. “The New Mr. Vegas” returns to Las Vegas with a show filled with comedy. (2) George Wallace (Westgate Cabaret, 800.222.5361) makes a comeback with his serving of a plate of laughs, with extra hot sauce. (3) Defending the Caveman (D Las Vegas, 702.388.2111) brings a no-holds-barred look at the battle of the sexes and who gets control of the remote control starring Kevin Burke.
Every food lover knows that real Kobe beef is a hard dish to find. While many restaurants claim to offer this novelty, these three feature the real deal. At (1) Bazaar Meat by José Andrés (SLS Las Vegas, 702.761.7610) order A5 Kobe eye of rib and cook it ever so slowly on an ishiyaki grilling stone brought to the table. (2) SW Steakhouse (Wynn Las Vegas, 702.770.3325) lets diners order Kobe beef by the ounce for $220 for a minimum 4 ounces. Each additional ounce goes for $55. Check with your server for available cuts. (3) Jean Georges Steakhouse (Aria, 877.230.2742) from Jean-Georges Vongerichten has A5 Kobe beef available in three-, six- and nine-ounce portions. Hot tip: Ask your server to see the certificate of authenticity if you question whether the Kobe you ordered is real.
