his city is famous for baseball, and residents here are renowned for their devotion to the St. Louis Cardinals—and with good reason! With 11 World Series Championship wins, the Cardinals are one of the most successful Major League Baseball teams in history! Not to mention, the entire city is still riding high from the St. Louis Blues’ Stanley Cup win—the first in the franchise’s history, ending a 52-year drought. But this month, we explore the world of St. Louis sports beyond Busch Stadium and Enterprise Center (“Beyond Busch Stadium” p. 12). I hope you’ll take a break from watching Cardinals games and celebrating the Blues to see everything else this city has to offer, both in the realm of sports and beyond. Take a trip to Downtown St. Louis on p. 16 for the some of the best shopping and attractions in the area and make sure to check out the calendar on p. 10 for our not-tomiss August events.
