WPB Love It is a unique neighborhood, not only for the brand shopping, but also the one-of-a-kind eclectic shops. One of my favorites is the John Fluevog shoe store (1539 N. Milwaukee Ave.), housed in an old movie theater. The vibe in the area is funky with many of the owners living not far from their shops. Many of the old lofts have been converted into great, huge apartments, and it has attracted a very hip and diverse food scene. Some of my local favorites: Mindy’s HotChocolate, The Bristol (pictured) and Presidio.
