F O O D A N D D R I N K During my visit the main restaurant, Edgar Bar & Kitchen, was closed due to the pandemic, but during the day, packaged foods and drinks could be purchased. The venue is named after former FBI director, J. Edgar Hoover, as it was his favourite place to dine – he ate there every night for 20 years straight. When it’s open it serves American brasserie-inspired classics with a modern twist, using local ingredients. B U S I N E S S With 27 event rooms available, there is a space for every occasion. The largest venue, the Grand Ballroom, has served as the backdrop for every Presidential Inaugural Ball, from Calvin Coolidge to Ronald Reagan, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.
