Este año, Al tablero BFM ofrece una amplia gama de actividades, no solo para los acreditados de industria presentes en CityU y la Cinemateca de Bogotá durante el festival, sino también para el público general que quiera acompañarnos virtualmente.

Este componente consiste en charlas académicas, dictadas por profesionales de primera línea pertenecientes a la industria audiovisual nacional e internacional, que buscan profundizar en algunas áreas cruciales de la producción cinematográfica y sus diferentes etapas, con el objetivo de que los participantes del mercado adquieran mejores herramientas para afrontar sus producciones audiovisuales. De la mano de cineastas colombianos o expertos en dichos temas buscamos generar un diálogo más cercano con creadores y realizadores que están desarrollando sus proyectos de cortometraje. Durante estos encuentros, se expondrán mecanismos para apoyar los procesos de financiación, realización, comunicación e internacionalización de proyectos de películas, y se ofrecerán espacios dedicados a la formación y convergencia entre diferentes sectores de la industria audiovisual. This year, BFM to the board offers a wide range of activities, not only for the accredited industry members present at CityU and Cinemateca de Bogotá during the festival, but also for the general public who want to join us virtually.

This component consists of academic talks, given by leading professionals belonging to the national and international audiovisual industry, who seek to delve into some crucial areas of film production and its different stages, with the aim that market participants acquire better tools to face their audiovisual productions. Hand in hand with Colombian filmmakers or experts in these topics, we seek to generate a closer dialogue with creators and filmmakers who are developing their short film projects. During these meetings, mechanisms to support the processes of financing, realization, communication and internationalization of film projects will be presented, and spaces dedicated to training and the convergence between different sectors of the audiovisual industry will be offered. LatAm cinema es una plataforma de información especializada en la industria cinematográfica latinoamericana fundada en el 2007. Dirigida a productores, gestores culturales, profesionales del sector y estudiantes de cine. La charla analizará las principales características de la prensa especializada y su papel clave en la promoción de la industria cinematográfica. Se ofrecerán herramientas para reflexionar y diseñar estrategias de comunicación certeras dirigidas a la prensa generalista y especializada. Founded in 2007, LatAm cinema is an information platform specializing in the Latin American film industry. Aimed at producers, cultural managers, industry professionals and film students, the talk will analyze the main characteristics of specialized press and its key role in promoting the film industry. It provides tools to reflect and design accurate communication strategies aimed at general and specialized press.

Desde Los Angeles, Estados Unidos, NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) le trae toda la información necesaria para entender este proceso. La charla aborda temas de representación de talento, la entrada al mercado norteamericano, diferencias entre la industria del entretenimiento de Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos, entre otros. Fundada en 1999, NALIP nace por iniciativa de un grupo de productores, creadores de contenido, académicos y defensores de los medios, que, cansados de luchar por ser escuchados, se unieron en una búsqueda por construir comunidad. Desde entonces, la organización se ha esforzado por trabajar en descubrir, promover e inspirar a los creadores de contenido Latinx con programas multifacéticos. The talk addresses issues of talent representation, entry into the North American market, differences between the entertainment industry in Latin America and the United States, among others. Founded in 1999, NALIP was born at the initiative of a group of producers, content creators, academics, and media advocates who, tired of fighting to be heard, joined in a quest to build community. En este panel, los seis ganadores de las ediciones anteriores de In Vitro BFM, compartirán la experiencia de creación de sus proyectos, los retos enfrentados, y el recorrido por circuitos de exhibición que sus piezas audiovisuales han tenido desde su participación en el programa. In the framework of the fourth edition of the BFM - BOGOSHORTS Film Market, In Vitro BFM will be present in our section BFM to the board. In this panel, the six winners of the previous editions of In Vitro BFM, will share the experience of creating their projects, the challenges faced, and the tour on exhibition circuits that their audiovisual pieces have had since their participation in the program.

Para dar respuesta a las necesidades del sector cinematográfico, Colombia se encuentra formando más técnicos y operarios enfocados en los oficios de las industrias creativas. De la mano de una de las entidades de formación más importantes del país, el Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje - SENA, Al tablero BFM ofrece en este panel un diálogo con realizadores latinoamericanos activos y con experiencia en formación, sobre la importancia del sector operativo en la industria del cine, y la tecnificación de los oficios en el cine colombiano.

To respond to the needs of the film industry, Colombia is training more technicians and operators focused on the trades of the creative industries. In the hands of one of the most important training entities in the country, the National Learning Service - SENA, BFM to the board offers in this panel a dialogue with active Latin American filmmakers with experience in training, on the importance of the operational sector in the film industry, and the technification of trades in Colombian cinema.

Con la presencia de representantes del Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones de Colombia, CoCrea, Corporación para el desarrollo de la cultura y la economía creativa en el país, y el Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje - SENA, se hablará sobre las diferentes convocatorias de estímulos y programas de financiación para el fortalecimiento cultural nacional e internacional, enfocadas en el desarrollo de contenido audiovisual. Representatives from the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of Colombia, CoCrea, Corporation for the development of culture and the creative economy in the country, and the National Learning Service - SENA, will discuss the different calls for grants and financing programs for the national and international cultural strengthening, focused on the development of audiovisual content.
