Chadsey Condon is a community with the odds stacked against it due to historical redlining labeling the community “undesirable.” Garage Cultural is looking to change that old narrative, and we are here to help! While others may overlook Chadsey Condon, Garage Cultural saw a community with a rich history and talent that can serve as an anchor within Southwest Detroit.
Learning new skills, enjoying live performances, and admiring local creative murals and artworks are just some activities Garage Cultural offered in their past location on Livernois in Detroit. Garage Cultural has moved to Junction Avenue in Detroit, meaning more land and possibilities.
The organization has fulfilled its mission statement for 12 years since its founding in 2011 by Ismael “Bandolero” Duran. As Architects, it is now our turn to transform their new site into a place that inspires and welcomes people of all ages intriguing them to explore and pursue goals concerning arts, culture, and beyond, because
