FMLA: A Guide for HR HRCI & SHRM Participants gain needed information to comply with this law including “serious health condition,” employee notice requirements, and managing intermittent leave. Business Analysis: DaVita: A Community First, A Company Second HRCI Business & SHRM Learn the challenges facing CEO Kent Thiry and DaVita as they began thinking about how to integrate a recent acquisition, Health Care Partners (HCP). DaVita had a culture built around teamwork, fun, continuous improvement, accountability, and service. HCP was an integrated health care provider with a substantially different workforce from DaVita. Practical Tools for Managing the Termination Process HRCI & SHRM This session will take participants through the important steps in the process of making the decision to terminate, including preparing for the termination meeting, meeting with the employee to terminate employment, completing post-meeting tasks, and communicating after the termination.
