HAVE QUESTIONS? HAWKS DOC- DOUG LANDEFELD 660-473-6604 WOLVES DOC - LARS RICHTERS 248-514-2937 OR EMAIL WOLVESHAWKS@AOL.COM
It’s the World’s sport. The beautiful game. It’s Soccer. It’s a sport with a passion and a following unlike any other. It’s crept into our American culture and captured the attention of our children, our hearts and our dreams. Not only is it popular, it’s simple; two kids, two pair of shoes in a field or on a playground and a ball and you’ve got a game. The Michigan Burn Soccer Club believes that Soccer is all of this and so much more. It’s a system of values. It’s respect. It’s dedication and desire. It’s teamwork. It’s commitment. It’s player development. It’s an attitude of “I can” and “I will.” Michigan Burn believes that great soccer players don’t just happen, they develop and evolve, getting better and better at every level and with every training session. We invite you to come see for yourself. See what it’s like to be part of the Michigan Burn. See what it’s like to be better. Follow your dreams. Compete at the highest levels.
Ignite your passion. Let it Burn.

IT’S TIME... Time to make the move to Club Soccer. The Burn Select program was designed for teams and players looking to take their play to the next level without the demand and commitment of our Premier Program. The Select Program will run all year round, just as our Premier Program, and teams will be coached by a Michigan Burn Staff Member. Burn Select Teams will practice once per week (outdoors) with the Burn Staff Coach, in addition to practices with the select parent coach. Any indoor practices through the winter will be additional and will be determined by each individual team. Burn Select is an age appropriate program that has teams from U8 -U18. The Program is offered to Boys and Girls. Coaches can bring in their existing recreational teams, or players can register individually and tryout for select teams. TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD JUNE 17-18, 2017
Michigan Rush offers the Rush JR Academy for players ages 4 to 8 The instruction will focus on introducing and developing key soccer skills through modified games and fun activities. Players will learn basic skills of dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting. Players will participate in developmentally appropriate activities as well as small sided games. While the emphasis is on soccer related skills, this program is designed to help develop the important sports-related skills essential for all types of sport, such as coordination, balance, agility and fitness. Jr. Academy Soccer Program Format
• There is no tryout process for this program; however, players should have some soccer experience and a strong desire to improve their skills
• Two program options: Academy team (1 practice and 1 game per week) OR Academy training (1 practice per week, no games) • Outdoor seasons (Fall & Spring) are 8 weeks @ NCP; indoor winter season is 12 weeks @ Total Soccer Novi • Players can choose to participate in any, or all, seasons.

THANK YOU MARY KAY! Mary Kay, I want to thank you for sharing the game with our Rush soccer community for the past fourteen years. We will miss you greatly. We wish you and your family our best wishes in your upcoming move to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area — what a journey you have had as a player and coach. Time is our greatest commodity — we can spend it or invest it. Your choice to invest your time with our players is a gift we will not forget. The impact of your modeling as a player and coach in the game will stay with our players for years to come. How would one quantify your impact? I do know you have helped our town to become a soccer town. I do know that because of you, there are more “run like a girl” believers in the world.
