Spring registrations will be transferred to the Summer dates by MSYSA, unless otherwise requested. MSYSA is offering full refunds to those individuals who are unable to attend the rescheduled Spring sessions. For those who registered for both Spring and Summer sessions, a partial refund for the Spring component will be provided. Olympic Development Program – ID Weekend The Michigan State Youth Soccer Association is happy to announce that the Olympic Development Program’s ID Weekend will be held from July 31-August 2 at Independence Park in Canton, MI. This event is offered to players with Birth Years from 2004-2009. Click here for more information. MSYSA Athlete & Participant Safety Memo (3.6.20) MSYSA Spring Registration: For now, the Spring 2020 Registration deadline has been pushed back to April 30, 2020 (subject to change). This means that April 30, 2020 is the deadline to submit registrations (generate invoices in GotSoccer) and make a final registration payment to MSYSA. Coaching Education **All MSYSA/USSF Coaching Education courses through April 30, 2020 have been suspended. Please click here to view our Spring 2020 FAQs for more information on Coaching Education courses** MSYSA will be offering USSF C license courses which will be held in two phases. These phases will be held in Kentwood, MI from August 2-6 and October 8-12. Participants must attend both phases. To register, click here. 2020 Olympic Development Program "Identification Weekend" (Tryouts) (Press Release) When: July 31- August 2, 2020 Where: Independence Park - Canton, Michigan Who: *For Birth Years 2004 - 2009* Cost: $125 Field players and Goalkeepers wishing to participate in the ODP Program should register for the ID Weekend and attend all training sessions. The cost to register and participate in the ODP ID Weekend is $125. Players' skill and abilities will be assessed throughout all training sessions by ODP Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Evaluators. Criteria for selection into the Michigan ODP State Player Pools includes but is not limited to: technical skills, physical abilities, tactical decisionmaking, attitude/self-awareness, etc. State Player Pools for each Birth Year will be determined and announced (via Constant Contact email) no later than 5pm on August 5, 2020. 2019-20 ODP 101 Beginner Academy & ODP Goalkeeper Academy Registration is open! Registration for the ODP 101 Beginner Academy & ODP Goalkeeper Academy is open for the 2019-20 season. Players born in the 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 birth years are eligible to register for the 101 Beginner Academy. Players born in the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 birth years are eligible to register for the Goalkeeper Academy. About the ODP 101 Beginner Academy To provide additional training opportunities to competitive/travel players seeking new challenges and to help identify the level of youth soccer players within Michigan. Training will be focused on developing the player’s technical, tactical, physical and psycho-social ability through the MSYSA’s ODP age appropriate player curriculum.
