*2020 MSYSA TRYOUT DATE** Tryouts may not commence any earlier than Saturday, June 13, 2020. 2019 MSYSA ODP ID Weekend – July 19-21, 2019 Even though the weather wasn’t very cooperative over the weekend, MSYSA is proud to announce that state pools for each age group (2003-2007) have been selected! MSYSA look forward to having the athletes at winter training in December. MSYSA’s ODP 101 Beginner Academy & ODP Goalkeeper Academy Registration is Now Open! Players born in the 08-11 birth years are eligible to participate in the 101 Beginner Academy program and players in the 03-08 birth years are eligible to participate in the Goalkeeper Academy program. Registration ends one week prior to each site seasonal start date. The cost to register is Full Year ($300), Half Year ($175), and One Season Only ($100). 2019-20 ODP 101 Beginner Academy & ODP Goalkeeper Academy Registration is now open! Registration for the ODP 101 Beginner Academy & ODP Goalkeeper Academy is open for the 2019-20 seasons. Players born in the 2009, 2010, and 2011 birth years are eligible to register for the 101 Beginner Academy. Players born in the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 birth years are eligible to register for the Goalkeeper Academy. About the ODP 101 Beginner Academy To provide additional training opportunities to competitive/travel players seeking new challenges and to help identify the level of youth soccer players within Michigan. Training will be focused on developing the player’s technical, tactical, physical and psycho-social ability through the MSYSA’s ODP age appropriate player curriculum. FC Barcelona vs. SSC Napoli Saturday, August 10, 2019 - 5:00 p.m. Michigan Stadium
Relevent Sports Group (RSG) announced on Wednesday, June 19 that FC Barcelona and SSC Napoli will face off in the inaugural LaLiga-Serie A Cup that includes a Saturday, August 10 game at Michigan Stadium on the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus. The annual cup will be a home and away series featuring teams from each of the leagues. The other match will be held Wednesday, August 7 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. "This Cup is the start of something incredibly special for both leagues to compete in front of thousands of fans in the biggest media market in the world," said Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo. "We couldn't be more excited for this opportunity and are proud to have SSC Napoli playing FC Barcelona in the first edition of this prestigious matchup." Tickets for the match at Michigan Stadium start at $45 and will be available for pre-sale on June 25 at 8:30 a.m. on MGoBlue.com/tickets. Tickets will go on sale for the public on June 28 at 8:30 a.m.
