Ladies and Gentlemen,

The year 2O13 was full of new investments. The list includes the green garden in front of pavilion 15, pavilion 8A and the overground links connecting it with the PCC conference-congress center, the modernized inner-roads and new fair events like MUSIC LAB Fair of Music, Stage and Lighting which had their debuts. Last but definitely not least comes our great success outside Poznań, namely the logistic organization of Climate Change Conference COP19 / CMP9 in Warsaw. Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie has organized the event twice so far and has been praised by United Nations as well as by the Polish government, which fills us with hope that we will again have the pleasure to use our knowledge and experience in order to organize such big and important international events. The year 2O14 appears to be equally interesting. We are not resting. The fair premises will become more beautiful (our investment plan involves the modernization of pavilion 3), the calendar of fair events concerning the construction industry will change and extend. All that is done to meet even higher expectations of entrepreneurs, and to offer them more comfort for business meetings, congress and cultural events. This year we will also celebrate the 85th anniversary of an exceptional event – the Common National Exhibition which commenced the present international fair in Poznań. Another ‘small’ jubilee goes to the Poznań Fair Magazine which will have its 55th anniversary. The official magazine of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie has been published continuously since 1959, and has always supported businessmen in boosting efficiency of their fair presentations in a modern way. Wishing you a good start for the New 2O14, I cordially invite you to get familiar with Poznań Fair Magazine – traditionally in a paper form and in a modern way on screens of computers and mobile devices.

COP19 / CMP9
ONE OF THE BEST PREPARED CLIMAT CHANGE CONFERENCE Marcin Korolec, President of the COP19 /CMP9 The most important international conference which happened this year in Poland, the COP19/CMP9 Climate Change Conference, is already behind us. In the course of 13 days, delegates from 194 countries and representatives of non-governmental and ecologic organizations, representatives of cities and business discussed the global climate policy. We managed to achieve the pre-assumed political objectives and convince all the interested of the necessity to create a new, global agreement. Apart from the political dimension, the conference was also an important image boosting event for Poland. More than 12,OOO participants from nearly 2OO countries took part in the summit, including about a thousand journalists of the most important international media. Once again, like in the case of COP14 Climate Conference in Poznań in 2OO8 and the European Football Cup in 2O12, we proved to be a good organizer and host of great, international events. Besides its great organization, the COP19/CMP9 Conference was distinguishable for quite an uncommon venue, which, however, the participants appreciated for its originality, for instance. The other thing the delegates found beneficial was the O4 / POZNAŃ FAIR MAGAZINE
convenient location of the National Stadium, which is relatively near the city center and has clear and quick access to the public transport network. Yet, the next impressive aspect was the infrastructure created by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, including the negotiation halls at the stadium. Poland hosted the Climate Change Conference for the second time. After the summit in Poznań in 2OO8, the feedback we received showed it was one of the best prepared climate conferences. During this year’s summit, the participants congratulated us on perfect organization of the event and their satisfaction was proven by a questionnaire, which was carried out every day among the participants. I am convinced that owing to the joint effort of all people and partners involved, we showed our organizational skills and presented Poland on the international arena as an important conference and exhibition center. I know, from the feedback I receive, that we have also inspired other delegations to take advantage of the potential of sports facilities for conference purposes.
COP19 / CMP9
By the order of the Ministry of Environment, Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie carried out the most important part of the preparation to the UN Climate Change Conference – COP19 in Warsaw. more than 12,OOO visitors from nearly the entire world, including politicians, scientists, representatives of business and non-governmental organizations as well as over 1,5OO accredited journalists.

The event took place on November 11-22, gathering
The Meeting of Parties of the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) and a few dozen other scientific and cultural events including meetings, seminars and workshops concerning the issue of climate change and the possibilities of limiting its results accompanied this year’s 19 session of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP19. The Ministry of Environment Republic of Poland was the organizer of the Conference, whereas Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie carried out the crucial preparations to the event taking care of such matters as assembling temporary conference rooms at the stadium, arranging and marking of the conference area, building and servicing of the computer, IT, and energetic systems necessary for the event, as well as photographic services. Thanks to good cooperation and combining competences of the PL.2O12+ Company, which is the administrator of the National Stadium in Warsaw, and Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie it was possible to achieve spectacular effects.

COP19 / CMP9 MTP’s specialists arranged and equipped 36 conference rooms. A lot of the rooms were transformed – the multi-denominational chapel of the National Stadium was used as an office of Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary General of the UN. 15,OOOsq meters of floor lining were laid in offices, conference rooms, and corridors; 2 km of partition walls were built in order to create office and conference rooms; as well as 21,OOO electric and internet sockets were installed. Additionally, 13O km of electrical wires were installed. The decision of the Ministry to commission the MTP to carry out the tasks was based on the positive evaluation of experience which results from the organization of nearly 8O important fair events, a range of congresses and conferences in Poland and abroad yearly. Another essential aspect was the positive opinion of the UN representatives, the Polish government, as well as the participants of COP14, which was organized in the cooperation of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie and Poznań Congress Center in Poznań in 2OO8.

NEWS
Competitive Poland 1989-2O14 It was exactly 25 years ago, on 4th June 1989, when the first free elections to the Polish Sejm and Senat took place that the dynamic development of the Polish economy was initiated. It was when the boarders collapsed together with the iron curtain, which made the economic progress possible. The Poles one more time learnt what the spirit of enterprise was and how to take advantage of it. They also learnt that democracy meant the freedom to choose, which is not always obvious. Not only did the Polish economy prove great adaptation skills by implementing well-known solutions instantly, but also, and above all, it commenced the process of creating the market and new trends. The system transformation also influenced the status of Polish enterprise spirit, which it would be difficult to imagine sustainable development of particular regions without. All citizen initiatives helped our society to open itself for other people. Independent art and availability of nearly limitless artistic means are yet another evidence. Not only did Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie closely observe the historic meanders of the Polish economy, but the company also participated in them, integrating representatives of particular industrial branches and exploring their potential. The Common National Exhibition (PeWuKa), which will celebrate its 85th anniversary in the year
2O14, was a sort of initiation of branch meetings characterized by strong national accent. Exceptional jubilees became an inspiration for a unique exhibition - the 2nd Common National Exhibition – Competitive Poland 1989-2O14. The Chairman of the Board of MTP, Andrzej Byrt, announces that the Exhibition will have a form of a presentation about the greatest economic achievements of Poland, its regions, companies, and innovativeness. Over the last quarter of a century our company has become the most modern conference and exhibition center in the Central-Eastern Europe. We have proven that constant development is possible regardless of unfavorable market conditions and macroeconomic phenomena. At present, the fair is using all sophisticated means of distribution, taking particular advantage of all technological changes and the Internet. Nevertheless, as far as our business is concerned, direct contact still remains and will remain the most important. It is therefore necessary to look at the development perspectives for the whole industry as well as Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie with great optimism. For more information about the Exhibition visit www.pewuka.pl
85th anniversary of Common National Exhibition It is here where the international Poznań came to life
On 16th May 2O14 the whole Poznań will celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Common National Exhibition (PeWuKa), which presents the heritage and Polish achievements in terms of industry, trade, agriculture, social care, physical education, hygiene and sports, culture, arts and science. It was here in Poznań that the whole world observed the achievements of the Polish nation in the late 192Os.
PeWuKa in numbers: In the course of 138 days, the PeWuKa was visited by 4.5 million people, including 2OO,OOO foreign visitors (9O,OOO from Germany, 8O,OOO from the Czech Republic, 1O,OOO from America, and 2O,OOO from other countries) The Common National Exhibition covered 65 hectares - three times as much as these days Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, which is Poland’s biggest fair center at the moment. The PeWuKa Exhibition presented the achievements of 1,427 exhibitors, and it would take even a week to visit it. It cost PLN 1OO,OOO,OOO to organize the Exhibition. The preparation to the PeWuKa took nearly 9OO days. 112 fair objects were built. 1O mln bricks, 2OO carriages of concrete, 2O carriages of iron, 8OOOm3 of timber were used for building it. More than 1,2OO workers were employed at the construction works. O8 / POZNAŃ FAIR MAGAZINE
The PeWuKa was the hottest media topic. Those fascinated with the exhibition journalists wrote about it in 2O,OOO enthusiastic articles. Owing to that, Poznań became the most fashionable city to visit.
NEWS MTP - member of EMECA
Design your stand – a new tool for exhibitors!
EMECA, European Major Exhibition Centers Association, is an institution that integrates the most important fair centers in Europe. Ever since 1st January 2O14, Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie has been its member.
The crew of IDEAEXPO.MTP offers a unique application for designing a simple fair stand in just a few minutes completely by yourself. The ready project, after a short form has been filled in, is automatically submitted for verification and cost evaluation, which largely speeds up the process of calculating costs of participation in the fair.
The association’s main task is to build relations among European fair centers of great potential and international significance. The association encourages fair organizers to exchange experiences and share ideas, as well as it looks after high fair infrastructure and service standards. Besides Europe, the EMECA helps gain new clients as well as provides assistance in terms of technology transfer for the developing markets. What the organization also does is look after their members’ businesses, continuously monitoring legal regulations of fair organizations, and presents their conclusions to the European Commission and its organs which influence the development of the fair industry. The members of EMECA include the Italian Fiera Milano, Belgium Brussels Expo, German Messe Frankfurt and Deutsche Messe AG, French Viparis and EUREXPO Parc des Expositions de Lyon, Moscow Expocentre, and Spanish IFEMA Feria de Madrid.
Antique rails in museum and on auction The railway on the premises of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie is older than the fair itself. Some publications and documents indicate that the rails on the current fair premises were installed there as early as in 1856. A few dozen years later, because of the PeWuKa (Common National Exhibition) which took place in Poznań from May 16 to September 3O, 1929, a railway siding was built. Its task was to facilitate transportation of goods and fair expositions for the biggest event of the 2nd Republic of Poland (in the course of a few months the PeWuKa was visited by 4.5 million people!)
Owing to the Wizard, we can determine the type and size of a stand, install additional walls (e.g. a back up facility), place the logotype and the company’s name on the frieze. It is also possible to choose walls and floor lining color as well as to place furniture and additional lighting. All it takes is to move the elements out of libraries and select available options in the navigation panel on the left-hand side. The view of the stand can be zoomed (magnifier) and moved (arrows). By clicking on the 2D/3D button, you can select a flat view or spacious view, and a ‘camera’ helps you watch the project from all sides. The look of the stand can be printed or sent to any email address. There is support available marked with the ‘?’ sign. For more information about the wizard visit www.kreator.ideaexpo.mtp.pl
New Acanthus Aureus statuette From September 2O13, a new statuette of the Acanthus Aureus award has been given to distinguish the stands which best facilitate the realization of a company's marketing strategy. The award Acanthus Aureus was established by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie in 2OO3, and has been awarded to exhibitiors in the same form ever since. After 1O years the award gained a new and more modern form. In the new statuette, the leaf of acanthus, associated with classical architecture, was combined with the modern shape, which emphasizes the mixing of tradition and modernity as well as reflects the unique character of the prize.
Three pieces of the rail coming from the disassembled railway siding dating back to 1899, including certificates of authenticity, were given to the Museum of Poznań City, the Team of the 22nd Final of WOSP (Great Orchestra of Christmas Aid) at the Student Council of Poznań Technical University and given to an auction. The income of PLN 2,261 from the auction will also be given to WOSP. POZNAŃ FAIR MAGAZINE / O9

Polish furniture on a roll The coming edition of MEBLE POLSKA 2O14, which will take place in Poznań on 18-21 February, is witnessing exceptional interest already. The exhibition area ordered is currently nearly twice as big compared to the same time last year. “That does not mean, of course, that the coming fair will be twice as big as the previous edition. However, the strong development trend which has been visible in Poznań for the last four years remains on the same level. We are extremely happy that exhibitors have appreciated the form of Poznań furniture fair and that we have the opportunity to host the largest representation of Polish furniture industry around the world,” says Józef Szyszka, director of MEBLE POLSKA. This great interest in the fair is the outcome of last edition’s success in 2O13 which proves the position of the leader of MEBLE POLSKA Fair in our part of Europe. Furniture buyers from as many as 48 countries visited Poznań Fair, and every fourth of the 15,OOO visitors was a foreigner. COMPETITIONS AND AWARDS AT THE FAIR
EXPERT’S OPINION Each and every award is what we aim at so as to have the possibility of sharing references and achievements in order to prove an additional, well-defined fact, which can serve to be nominated to the group of the best companies of its branch. The Gold Medal is always a reason to boast about another, well-deserved, achievement. Moreover, it is a remarkable achievement as it is awarded at fair organized by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, a highly-prestigious company with a long-lasting tradition and well-known not only in the domestic but also international environs.
Prof. dr hab. inż. Aleksandra Rakowska,
Poznań University of Technology, President of the Gold Medal Competition Court of EXPOPOWER
Business entities that submit their products to have them awarded with the medal consciously agree to be additionally, thoroughly assessed in many different aspects. That assessment is to confirm the product’s innovativeness, its quality and consequently to promote it on the market, not only the national one. I believe that applying for the distinction of the MTP Gold Medal also provides a possibility of comparing the submitted products with the offer of branch leaders’ top products. It is also a comparison of latest trends, new technological solutions (…). For a company, that is just one aspect of its further development and existence. It is also an incentive to search for new solutions and applications. I think that the fact of receiving the MTP Gold Medal also means the joy and feeling of good work, as well as an inspiration to find new challenges and ideas, which is what I wish you all from the bottom of my heart.
Prof. dr hab. Grzegorz Skrzypczak, Poznań University of Life Sciences, President of the Gold Medal Competition Courts of POLAGRA PREMIERY and GARDENIA
FROM EXHIBITOR’S PERSEPCTIVE Out of a few hundred of the products submitted in 2O13, four products of “Sokołów” were awarded with the MTP Gold Medal. These prestigious distinctions for Sokołów Group are a particularly valuable reward for our care of the quality and innovation of the offered products as well as for the modernity of the applied technology. It is even more valuable if we take into consideration the fact that it is given by a group of recognized experts and specialists. I am fully convinced that the abovementioned distinctions result in a stronger position of our products on the market as well as in the Sokołów brand being highly recognizable.
Bogusław Miszczuk, Chairman of the Board, Sokołów Group Krzysztof Pruszyński, Chairman of the Board, Blachy Pruszyński As a leading producer of steel roofing and facade materials, we pay a lot of attention not only to high production standards, building new distribution channels, but also to searching for effective means of promotion. We consider the Gold Medal to be an important element of brand promotion among consumers and contractors. Exhibitors Press Service Be closer to journalists
Opinions found in the press are still significant for shaping a company’s image. Information about a company, its products or services which are properly presented may bring additional benefits and extend the number of clients. The Press Center of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie remains in active cooperation with Polish and foreign journalists of printed, Internet, radio, and TV media. Representatives of branch and general-information media receive up-to-date press information about fair events, conferences, and cultural gatherings. The Press Center also prepares conferences, and press briefings so as to facilitate a direct contact between the organizers, journalists, special guests of particular events and to give important information. It is really worth taking advantage of that potential! During fair events, localized in the very heart of the fair premises in pavilion 1O, the Press Center becomes a venue of work of journalists. It is here where the media meet, and it is here where they look for up-to-date press materials and photographic services. Therefore, it is the place that must always have promotional materials of the exhibitors. It is worth boasting about your company’s novelties, awards received during the fair, jubilees, special events, or competitions organized during the fair, as well as to invite journalists to visit your company’s stand and take part in meetings with special guests. A year-long active cooperation of the MTP’s Press Center with journalists, which resulted in 5,432 publications in the year 2O13, still succeeds in helping exhibitors reach media representatives thanks to the services of Exhibitors Press Service.

Broaden horizons on foreign markets Participation in fair abroad is a good way of establishing business contacts and extending your business abroad. Polish entrepreneurs can also actively participate in economic missions with their inseparable element of B2B meetings with selected clients, extend their knowledge in terms of exportation during organized trainings, as well as have meetings with foreign contractors during incoming missions in Poland.
Every year, the Team for Organizing Fair Abroad of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie prepares a few dozen presentations of Polish companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations on foreign markets. It also supports entrepreneurs in submitting application forms for grants and balancing the account afterwards. The knowledge of many industries and of the specifics of international markets has enabled the Team of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie for Organizing Fair Abroad to offer Polish businessmen the most effective ways of presenting themselves at foreign fair, yet keeping reasonable costs. In 2O13, the offer of Polish companies was presented at 5O renowned fair events and exhibitions in such countries as the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Holland, Canada, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Germany, Russia, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, the USA, Great Britain, and the United Arab Emirates. FROM AN ENTREPRENEUR’S PERSPECTIVE Monika Gąsiorowska, Director of Regional Development Department Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency Ltd. Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) has for years now cooperated with Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, and recently, particularly since the year 2O1O, our cooperation has intensified largely. As part of the Economic Promotion Program for Eastern Poland, the PAIiIZ deals with organizing trips to different fair events, economic and investment missions for Eastern Poland entrepreneurs. The Team for Organizing Fair Abroad has already taken responsibility for organizing a few dozen fair events in Europe and around the world for various branches. Usually each order consisted of a few stages, i.e. preparing the stand design, delivering elements and assembling them, technical and logistic services during the fair, dispatching exhibits to and from, as well as disassembling the stand elements. The entrepreneurs who took part in those trips and the officers of Economic Promotion Program for Eastern Poland expressed their recognition about tasks realized by MTP. What draws a lot of attention is the quality the stands are prepared with, and modern materials which correspond with up-to-date trends that are used to prepare them. A lot of good could also be said about the designing stage. The team members are open for any remarks and suggestions including the ones directed on behalf of entrepreneurs. It happens that one stand concentrates around 2O companies; however, each and every one of them is treated individually. All the people involved as well as stand services are characterized by a high level of culture, competence, and the knowledge of foreign languages. Despite all the variety of different sectors and branches, the PAIiIZ stands built by MTP are fancied not only by the companies, but also fair organizers and exhibitors from other countries. That was, for example, the case at 2O13 SIL Underwear Fair in Paris. In spite of their young age, the members of the Team for Organizing Fair Abroad accept even very tough challenges in a very short time, and, what is more, they are very successful! This year only, together with MTP we have organized trips to such events as Fancy Food in New York, Interiors UK in Birmingham, Anuga in Cologne, PLMA in Amsterdam, SFH in Seul, Prodexpo in Moscow, MIDEST in Paris, and SIL also in Paris. Our stands, made by MTP, draw people’s attention and that results in our entrepreneurs and our country being perceived more positively. In the same time, they help us establish cooperation with new foreign partners and promote Poland around the world.

Participating in economic missions, realized in cooperation with MTP, is already bearing fruit. In April 2O13 we took part in an economic mission to Canada, organized for SIAL Fair in Toronto. It resulted in a contract and regular cooperation with a Canadian contractor. Also, in November we took part in another economic mission, to Kazakhstan, organized for World Food 2O13 in Almaty, where we also signed a contract for delivering starch to this country. In my personal opinion, the cooperation with MTP is a guarantee of professionalism and reliability. The missions we have so far taken part in were always precisely planned and their participants were always taken care of. POZNAŃ FAIR MAGAZINE / 27

I am very pleased with how the meetings with other companies were prepared by the team of MTP, as well as with the national stand preparation at the fair. The strongest points of the mission prepared by MTP include skillful and professional services in terms of translating and organizing meetings with contractors, as well as making it possible to meet government administration organizations in order to obtain clear and reliable information about the possibilities of carrying out business actions in Kazakhstan. Additionally, all that topped with assistance in applying for grants (as part of Innovative Economy Operational Program) proves MTP’s services very good.

Jan Maciuba, Chairman of the Board of AKO S.A. Participating in the General Promotion Program of the Ministry of Economy is a very good opportunity to promote our products in such countries as Canada, Algeria, Brazil and Kazakhstan. Being a producer of food additives for baking, confectionery, and ice cream branches we export our products to different countries, including Russia, for instance. Our representative, Niżegorodskij Chleb, distributes our products not only to Russia, but also, some part of them, reaches the Kazakh market. It is definitely a good start to keep up the momentum. Our participation in the economic mission to Kazakhstan prepared by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie resulted in establishing contacts with a candidate to become an AKO representative. It is a company which at present supplies fat to baker’s and confectioner’s, so it has distribution channels which could be used to supply the products of AKO. My participation and presence at WORLD FOOD Fair in Almaty, at a stand of the Ministry of Economy, allowed me to find out about the scope and depth of the baking and confectionery market in Kazakhstan. There are perspectives in that market, particularly in terms of assortment, as the choice of baking and confectionery products offered in shops at present is neither big nor attractive. This is where I see a chance for the products of AKO. I find the role of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie in preparing the mission very positive. Their employers proved their competences, involvement, and hard work. I believe such a way of promoting export is desirable, especially for small and medium-size companies. Matchmaking meetings at Polagra-Food in Poznań as well as directly in companies’ headquarters were an introduction to serious business talks
Krzysztof Dukat, deputy director for exportation in Ludwik Styl Ludwik Styl is a manufacturer of exclusive oak furniture. So far we have participated in a few foreign economic missions, meetings and trainings prepared by MTP in France, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, and Ukraine. We have also cooperated in preparing the application form content-wise to obtain a grant for participation in the program. At this point, we consider our cooperation with the MTP team to be very positive, appreciating their professionalism and competence in particular. 28 / POZNAŃ FAIR MAGAZINE

FAIR SERVICES
Standard means boredom? Not at all! A standard stand is the easiest way of presenting yourself at fair events. For all frequent exhibitors the term is easily recognizable; however, for the less familiarized ones, we explain the construction is made of standardized elements including aluminum frames with slide-in panels. It is enough to look around to notice that most stands, at majority of trade shows, are made of repeatable elements, which are also called system elements. That, however, does not mean that stands must be boring. Not so long ago, the so-called SYMA reigned. However, over time it was replaced by an octagonal system called OCTANORM, whose advantage over its predecessor is the fact that the walls can be connected not only at the angle of 9O degrees, but also in a slanting way. Of course, it is the most spectacular individual realizations, built on demand for market leaders and their needs, that are the most noticeable at a fair. Their form and applied materials emphasize the position of the company on the market and are relevant to its image. These designs are very often uniformed for the needs of all fair, including the ones abroad, the company takes part in by international headquarters. It is however possible to achieve, at low cost, quite a satisfactory effect taking advantage of a standard system assembly topped with a bit of designer’s imagination.
Colorful giddiness It is enough to change the walls color for the stand to get a completely new look. The standard color is white; however, there is no problem to cover the walls with colorful paint or a colorful printout. Energizing red color goes very well together with elegant white furniture. Turquoise walls combined with sea blue floor lining draw people’s attention. Green is usually chosen by companies from agricultural, garden and ecological markets. In case of the colorful world of cosmetics industry, no color is banned; there are endless examples. It is even better when the walls are covered with dedicated printouts. Characteristic layouts, logotypes, motives closely corresponding with a company’s CI inform who the stand belongs to from distance. At the same time, they distinguish the stand among the others at the fair. We are presenting only just a few examples of ‘dressing’ the walls so as to achieve a really good effect at low cost.

Standard extra-class It is worth mentioning a few words about the ‘extra-class’, that is a modern MAXIMA system. It is characterized by two sizes of basic profiles, whose designer look gives the stand a high aesthetic level. Additional effect can be achieved by applying illuminated framed printouts on plexiglass or textiles stretched with the use of special clips instead of standard laminated boards. The wide variety of solutions, which are available thanks to the Maxima system provide the stand with an individual character and features of individual projects.
Create your stand yourself For some time now it is possible to design a simple fair stand on your own! All you need is to use an innovative and unique tool which can be found on www.kreator.ideaexpo.pl. The application KREATOR STOISKA (Stand Wizard) is an authorship project of the IDEAEXPO.MTP team. Not only is designing with it easy, but also intuitive. Additionally, an arrangement prepared with your hands is automatically submitted for verification and pricing, which significantly speeds up the cost of fair participation estimation process.

Fair, camera…. action! The most interesting and unique pavilions and areas of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie have been filmed and catalogued by Poznan Film Commission – a unique group of cinema enthusiasts who support the city in terms of carrying out film projects in the region. The first catalogue of locations, which Poznań will use to promote its exceptional open air spaces for shooting films, has just appeared. It took nearly half a year to take photographs and make films to make the catalogue in both paper and electronic versions. The film makers recorded, amongst others, the Summer Railway Station, the Raczyński Library, the Old Zoo, the interiors of antique tenements, museums, clubs, as well as barracks. The recorded locations also involved Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, where architecturally-varied pavilions including the unique Earth Hall and the Spire offer an exceptional compilation of modernity and history.
The locations catalogued by Poznan Film Commission, which was established by the City of Poznań and Estrada Poznańska, resulted in creating an unbelievably rich and varied base, which the capital of Greater Poland Region will intend to take advantage of to interest domestic and international film producers. To meet the needs of directors and operators, as well as producers of fictional films, documentaries, adverts as well as TV programs, the offer of PFC was additionally enriched with a database of professional companies from Poznań and its surroundings which deal with film production, renting film equipment, games and animations production, film soundtracks and postproduction. Jubilee Wedding Fair
Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie received the ‘Greater Thing from Greater Poland’ certificate of Greater Poland’s Brand for the conference-congress center called Poznań Congress Center, which is awarded by the Self-Government of Greater Poland Voivoidship.
The offer of the Great Poznań Wedding Gala, which will take place on January 12 in pavilion 3 of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, means a splendor of latest trends, inspirations and curiosities not only relating to the wedding branch, but also to make-up, confectionery, printing, tourism, and jewelry branches. Poznań Wedding Fair has for years been one of the biggest and most important events of the wedding branch in Greater Poland. More than 3OO exhibitors will present their rich offer, which is directed at the engaged couples, at the coming 1Oth edition of the event. The fair offer will be complemented with a rich artistic program including performances of stars, fashion shows, and attractive contests. The event will be led by Tomasz Kammel, and the spouses-to-be will have an opportunity to win a trip to Paris, wedding dresses and dance lessons, etc.
The reasoning submitted by the Marshal of Greater Poland Voivoidship says “Rich infrastructure, architectonically-varied pavilions equipped with innovative technological solutions, as well as the most modern performance-concert hall in the country all add to creating a positive image of Greater Poland on the business tourism map of Poland.” The certificates will be awarded at the ‘Innovative Greater Poland’ Gala in March 2O14. The purpose of awarding the Certificate of Greater Poland’s Brand, ‘Greater Thing from Greater Poland’, is to identify, distinguish, and promote Greater Poland’s companies, institutions, products, services, undertakings and individuals that achieved their success thanks to innovatory solutions, their skills of using social, economic, and natural resources, which undeniably influence regional image and development on both domestic and international arenas.

Przemysław Trawa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie
Solemnly opened on 15th December 2O12, the Earth Hall is, on one hand, our pride, and, on the other hand, the most spectacular building investment of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie of the recent years. The plenary hall, which is the trademark of the conference-congress center, holds nearly 2,OOO people and can be arranged in many different ways – ranging from a cinema-like setting, through a forum setting, up to a division into two separate halls. Owing to modern multimedia equipment, spacious foyer and a neighboring charming garden, it meets the highest, worldwide standards. The Earth Hall is a modern multi-functional building which is proven by its portfolio so far. Over the last 12 months, the interior of the hall proved itself perfectly as a conference hall during TOP MEDICAL TRENDS congress, the proceedings of the 1OOth anniversary of Polish Orthopedics and Traumatology, and during the Reunion of Polish
