The Question: Should Negroes Welcome Morol Support From Chinese Foes of 'Our White Folks?' Towering over the issues raised by Kennsdy-Nixon or by Goldwater-Rockefeller—in their so-called debates which amounts to "who-is-best-qualified-to-leadwhite-America-toward-the-rear," is the discussion set in motion when China became the first major nation in world history to take official notice of the oppression of American Negroes and extend moral support to them- through its leader. President Mao Tse-tung. The issue took on added importance when the statement was rebuffed by Roy Wilkins, executive secretary of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and by James Farmer, director of CORE. One of those to disagree with Mr. Wilkins was the nationally known civic and medical leader, Dr. Dorothy Ferebee, of Washington, D.C., whose rebuttal of Wilkins on this issue is printed on this page. Muhammad Speaks welcomes the similar questions.

1 Although unlimited biUions in tax ^ money are poured into "foreign aid" and into rockets and military rat holes, one of the most savage and dehumanizing assaults is being leveled at those destitute and impoverished Negro families vcho must subsist on public zvelfare.
