30 Black people Murdered in the first 3 months of 2012 The murder of Trayvon Martin is no isolated tragedy. The murder of Black men and women by police and other state officials and by selfappointed “keepers of the peace” is standard practice in the United States, and essential to the very fabric of the society. Since the European colonization of North America, Black life has been disposable. Despite the many proclamations that the society is color blind and moving into a post-racial phase, the summary execution of Trayvon Martin and at least 29 other Black women and men murdered by the Police, Security Guards or vigilantes in 2012 alone demonstrates that Black life continues to be regarded with short worth. The information in this article was researched, written and produced by Kali Akuno and Arlene Eisen working on behalf of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, Black Left Unity Network, and US Human Rights Network.
Government agencies order ammunition for battle in the US WASHINGTON, D.C. — In the last three years, many US government agencies that operate specifically inside the United States have ordered a total of over 750 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition. In 2009, Winchester Ammunition was awarded a contract to supply the Department of Homeland Security with 200 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow point ammunition. The same company was recently awarded a contract by the Immigration, Customs and Enforcement (ICE) division of the Department of Homeland Security to supply a maximum of 200 million rounds over the next five years. In early March 2012 Alliant Techsystems Inc (ATK), another supplier of defense products, won an indefinite delivery contract to supply DHS with a whooping 450 million more .40 caliber hollow point rounds. The 1 year contract with four option years comes at a time when many Americans believe that DHS, along with certain aspects of the military, will soon turn their guns on the American people during some sort of martial law scenario. Martial Law is when Military Forces are deployed to quiet the crowds, secure government buildings and key or sensitive locations, and to maintain order when there are extensive riots and protests, or when the disobedience of the law becomes widespread.
American Legislators Excellent Con The American Legislative Exchange Council, aka ALEC, has been exposed as the modern-day KKK. These lawmakers are “hooded” as “a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that promotes growth and fiscal responsibility” but are really a group of political thugs, backed by America’s big corporations, (such as Kraft, McDonalds, CocaCola , PepsiCo, and Walmart, to name a few,). These “White American” companies pay big money to get laws passed that strip Black people in America of the so-called “Civil Rights” that they Think they have. The, now infamous, “Stand Your Ground” Law is one of the laws pushed by ALEC and the National Rifle Association. In 2011, more than 30 state legislatures considered legislation to make it harder for college students, low-income voters, and minorities to vote, with over a dozen of those states succeeding in passing these bills. Messenger Elijah Muhammad warned Black people in America, during one of his weekly radio broadcasts, titled “Rights Movement Wrong Way” (Now availlable on CD and MP3) that, “This is a very corrupt world of politics. And the corrupt politics that is dealing with the situation today, the civil rights movement, is only temporary.”
largest Muslim country in theWorld By Brother Khalil Shabazz Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, has always been viewed by the White Christians from Europe as a revolutionary threat to their oppressive colonial control over the Indonesian people. The Christians arrived in Indonesia around 1619 and set up what is called the East India Company. Known by the people as the "Company" it was set up to maintain good relations between the oppressive government and it's colonial enterprises throughout Asia. From the beginning of the Dutch ocupation of Indonesia the Muslims were seen as a "potential political danger" to the "Company" and their finacial investments throughout the region. On their arrival to Indonesia the Christian’s plan was to exploit the people and to make themselves rich from their labor. This attitude is no different from any White Christian explorer and discoverer of recorded history. On December 9, 2011 Dutch Ambassador to Indonesia Tjeerd de Zwaan attended a comemoration ceremony, at Rawagede Hero Cemetery, in honor of over 430 Indonesians brutally murdered by Dutch Soldiers in the 1947 massacre on Java Island. The Netherlands gave a formal "apology" to the families of the victims who recieved no justice from the Dutch government for their pain and suffering from the loss of their loved ones in this brutal massacre. Even though the United Nations condemned the attact as being "deliberate and ruthless" the Dutch government has not to this date prosecuted nor charged any of the soldiers responsible for this heinous act. They didn't want any interference with their plans to be the boss and for this reason Islam, the Religion of Freedom, Justice and Equality was hated by the White Christians. The Christians hated Islam so much that the Batavia Church Coucil wanted all Muslim schools to be closed and the performance of circumcision to be forbidden. What the Europeans really hated was the Muslims pilgramage to the Holy City Mecca. The White man realized that on the return of the Muslims from Mecca they where the main instigators of rebellions against the Dutch. They feared Muslim hostility and resistance. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us in "The Message to the Black man" that "the devil is the devil regardless of place or time" By observing the methods use to destroy the revolutionary power of Islam by the White Christian Devil in Indonesia and the White Christian Devil in America we will see that they are the same no matter the difference in location of the two Devils. The Dutch began to use the more moderate puppet Islamic leaders to be the voice for the people. These Islamic puppets made speeches that only dealth with issue concerning religious matters while saying nothing about the oppressive Politics of the White Christian government. The Christians formed close relationships with Muslim orginizations and granted some of the wishes of the weak Muslim leaders. Especially the religious, social and educational
matters but non of this ever interfered with the White Christians secular principles of colonial rule over Indonesia. We can find this same principle in America among the White Christian rulers of the West. With all of this so called "Religious Freedom" that these Devils give to it's citizens non of it ever interfers with the White mans agenda. Muslims are allowed to pray before the House of Representatives, and the Christians host "Ramadan at the White House." The Christians of the West have also put on a great show of false friendship with the Muslims in America. Even after all of these puppet Islamic leaders in Indonesia who go along with the Christians and their false show of friendship it didn't stop the Christians from murdering over 430 on the Island of Java. The Christians false show of friendship to the Muslims did stop them from over looking this massacre for 64 years, then to simply make an apology to the surviving relatives. Grow food for Self and Shelf By Sister Cynthia Shabazz ILLINOIS--Food prices and prices in
general are skyrocketing in this dying economy. Messenger Muhammad taught us that these days were coming and here they are. We must not only grow food for ourselves today, but also for the shelf. We are taught as Muslims to buy “one for self and one for the shelf.” In order to save money and also to eat better, grow food for self and also for the shelf. We must grow food for harvest and also preserve the harvest for our shelves. Preservation of food by canning, dehydrating and freezing can keep somuch money in our pockets, brothers and sisters. Canning through boiling water canners and pressure canning is a lost art and one that must be learned again. Dehydrating foods can extend the shelf life for so many foods and it is very easily done through a small dehydrator or in your own oven at a low setting. Dehydrated foods are delicious in soups and other foods. Freezing can also be used to extend the harvest but it
only works as long as the electrical grid does. Another way to extend the harvest is when you find a sale on produce, even if you didn’t grow it yourself buy it and can or dehydrate it. It will make you feel good when you can cook a meal from food you “put up” We must as the Messenger taught us, “Do for self before you will have it to do.” If I can be of assistance, please contact me. are in dire straits all over America. We are out of work, out of money, out of patience, out of control and nearly out of time. The enemy is working to take back every so-called “advancement” or “progress” we have fooled ourselves into thinking we made over the past 50 years. We are naked, hungry and out of doors. Rejected and despised. Killing each other faster than the devil can. Despite these monumental troubles; it has come to my attention that new groups have formed all over the country that are meeting and debating the accuracy of the teachings of The Messenger, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad; and the authenticity of our Saviour, Master W.D. Fard Muhammad, the Supreme Being, God, Himself. The Messenger said “Guard against being deceived.” Now today, all sorts of manufactured questions and answers are being put forth to our people to discourage them from respecting the knowledge given to us by our dear Messenger and to get them to dismiss the only God (and hope) that they and we have. This is the result of boredom and taking on mixed instructions. Right to Vote in the South
These groups represent the disbelievers, the hypocrites and the rejecters of the truth whom Allah has let go astray into a mixture of confusion and mental hell. The root of their dissatisfaction is selfhatred. They claim they hate the enemy but they just want to sit around and talk and try to sound wise instead of doing something for self. It’s easier for them to stay tangled up in religious debates than to go work to build us a Nation. They have no productivity value. These brothers (and sisters) are doing what the blind, deaf and dumb have always done when too lazy to do for self. they turn against anyone or any group who has a realistic achievable plan. They have nothing to replace the Messenger’s teachings with. They are trying to find something to replace doing for self. Another religion that allows them to make up their own rules, curse, be savage, dirty, use drugs, drink alcohol, disrespect women, abandon their children and beg the devil for a living. We have already seen this system fail before. This is called re-

These groups call themselves by various names and they are trying to start a new movement of knowledge, but other than discussing what they think is high science. They don’t even agree among themselves. They have stolen the Messenger’s words and try to add on or take away certain parts of his sayings to fit their idea. In the entertainment world they call this “sampling”. These men cannot convince the original people to replace Allah and the Messenger for another type of mystery God , they can’t identify. Mr. Elijah Muhammad taught us that everything has an origin so everything also must have an originator.
Let’s see how far he can “Run” before we Pop it!
Everything that exists was brought into being by a superior being. If it’s a design, it has a designer. His Islam is this type of mathematics. These principles apply to everything from the 3-billion-letter code in our DNA to the rotational speed of the earth. All of which the Messenger taught us about directly from the mouth of Allah (God) Master Fard Muhammad., to Whom all praise is due forever. We cannot look to the Egyptians, the Moors nor the Hebrew Israelites to save us. They couldn’t save themselves from the same enemy who seeks to destroy us today. The Messenger said, “We do not pay attention to magicians.” Learning history is good. Trying to reclaim your own is good. But it is not good to try to re-make or try to destroy the credibility of Allah and His Messenger. No matter how much mumblejumble they make up, no matter how much they curse and act savage, it will not change the truth from the mouth of God in Person

Dehydrate your garden harvest By Sister Cynthia Shabazz ILLINOIS--In
the Name of Allah, MASTER FARD MUHAMMAD, WE FOREVER THANK ALLAH FOR HIS LAST AND GREATEST MESSENGER, THE MOST HONORABLE ELIJAH MUHAMMAD AS-ALAAM-ALAIKUM Doing for self is the concept that Messenger Muhammad taught us. This concept is self - preservation. Self Preservation is known as the first law of nature. We are taught to do for self, to prepare and preserve for self and the selves we call family. When we grow a garden, we are not just growing food, we are preserving health and financial resources. There are many established techniques to preserve food by salting, fermenting, canning, freezing and dehydrating. Dehydration is one of the oldest, easiest and cheapest techniques. Dehydration is the easiest way to preserve food. It can be done by the sun in the summer by covering food with a small clean screen or
Sister Cynthia Shabazz cheesecloth,(as in sun dried tomatoes), using small or large dehydrators , by using the low temperatures in your oven and by slicing produce thinly and covering with cheesecloth. Once food is completely dehydrated, it can be put in a covered, preferably glass jar with lid and labeled with the date and name. It is very important to completely dehydrate food to keep it from molding. Dehydrating food is a preservation technique and one that anyone can do but read and study the technique first so no food is lost. This is doing for self and using self preservation. Don’t Let The Devil Provoke You! By
Minister Levi Karim In the Name of Allah, Who came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad. I forever thank Him for raising up His Last and Greatest Messenger, The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad (peace be upon him). As-Salaam-Alaikum! The Devil (WHITE MAN) is doing everything in his power to provoke Black people to start rioting out of the frustration of the flood of recent, more popular, injustices against black people. But as Messenger Elijah Muhammad said, “DON’T GET EXCITED IN THE VERY LEAST”. The “race war” didn’t start this year. Some think it started somewhere between the1930s and the 1960’s. Some of the more wiser ones think it started 400 years ago, when the devil kidnapped Black people from Africa and drug us to America in chains to make slaves ou of us. But the ALL WISE God in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad taught our Messenger that the “race war” started 6,600 years ago, when the work of grafting an enemy for us began. Messenger Elijah Muhammad warned us in his book, Our Saviour Has Arrived that, “The whole history of the white race is written in the shedding of innocent blood...” “...They try to provoke us to strike back at them -- innocent people upon whom they prey.” The Messenger goes on to say: “They go in carloads and truckloads, raiding the poor innocent Black sections to take our lives without any cause or provocation whatsoever -- wrecking our property -- knowing that we have no arms. They cowardly, evilly come in great numbers as though they expect a great army to rise up against them. Cowards! They have no respect for good. They bomb our Black Christian brothers’ churches in the South. They Shoot them down on highways, in their homes and on the job -- anywhere he can satisfy his lust for blood; a blood-thirsty wicked human beast.”
Don’t you see that the Allah’s Messenger, to the Black man and woman in America is still RIGHT ON TIME! He warned us in the Last Chapter of the Last Book he wrote: The Fall of America, that “THE WORST IS YET TO COME”. In the May 31, 1968 edition of Muhammad Speaks, The Messenger wrote: They go out on the streets and run down the poor Black man to take his life, with no excuse except their hatred of him and to bear witness to the truth of himself that he is the devil. They have the nerve to tell the poor innocent victim (Black man) that the teacher of the truth is teaching hatred of him! Who could love him? There should be no need to teach hatred of you to a people who were born and brought up under your feet and who daily experience the cruel blows from your heavy boots, because that person already knows that you are the heartless enemy -- who will not let him go free in a separate place here in this wide territory. But You would rather hold them here under your eyes so that you can do evil things to them -- beat and kill them while they are helpless. Your enemies would gladly arm every one of them, but Allah (God) does not want us to bear arms. He wants to show you that he is God. He wants to fight you with His weapons, the forces of nature - rain, hail, snow, and earthquakes; the sun, moon, and the star. As little as we respect that little dried up piece of our planet called moon, which looks harmless, it has such power of magnetic pull on our planet that it could affect our lives. Let anyone read the history of the Muslims (myself and my followers) for the past 37 years. They will find that we have never risen up to attack or to interfere with the government's operation. Nor did we actually fight when we were supposed to fight by the law of nature, the Bible and Holy Qur-
an, when we were attacked at our Temple; shot up; and one killed in Los Angeles, Calif. April 27,1962. Nor did we try to retaliate when we were attacked and our Temple was set afire; nor did we retaliate in Newark, when our Temple there was shot up for no other cause than to try to provoke us to attack; nor did we retaliate in Detroit, Mich; when the National Guard shot holes in our Temple during the riots there.’ Let’s not forget the way Messenger Elijah Muhammad handled things. He didn’t let the Devil get him excited in the very least. He didn’t have his followers take to the streets protesting the actions of the Devil. The Devil is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing! EVIL! We don’t expect anything different from him! But we expect different from those taught by Messenger Elijah Muhammad. What do we look like marching down the street in a “hoodie” with those who don’t know any better. Our poor blind, deaf and dumb people actually think they accomplished something by doing this. And now they are sitting and waiting for Justice in the courtroom of the Devil, who has shown us, since we were dragged here in chains on the slave ship, as Messenger Elijah Muhammad taught, during his audio-taped lecture THE SOLUTION TO PROBLEM IS DIVINE. The Messenger said, “There is no justice in the law of America's courts or Constitution that we can claim belongs to us. There is no law or justice for us in America.” The Messenger goes on to say: “When you go out to try to get freedom, justice, and equality for the Blackman in America, then you learn that nearly 90% of all the whites is against it. There is some that limits this freedom, justice and equality to certain things, but to give it to them 100%? NO! You will not, hardly, find 10 out of 100 that want to see the Negro exercise Freedom, Justice and Equality along with the white man of America, 100%. Civil rights or human rights. Civil rights is limited, but human rights
is universal. We should be seeking, actually, human rights. But the real thing that we should seek, it is the right to leave a people that have always been our enemies and still telling us to face, "We are still your enemies. We will never give to you no equal justice or equal rights among us." Look at what is going on all over the country. Look at what happens in courts. Just go to a court and sit there and look at a poor Black man brought before the judge. There is no equal justice in their in courts for him. This you know. Why should we argue with the American white people over what they have, or over their own self and their own laws? Why should not we unite and ask America to let us go free for ourselves, as Israel did in the days of Pharaoh and Moses? Moses sought separation and not integration. He didn't argue with Pharaoh for civil rights nor human rights, but he argued with Pharaoh for the rights to leave the Egyptians, who had no love for Israel and who had no desire to see Israel prosper. How can we prosper in a government and among people who have no love for us? How can we build a future for our children among the people, who are bent

I said, "Yes." I said, "There is no people on the earth that actually loves their enemies but the foolish socalled American Negro." And that's due to the lack of knowledge. He has no knowledge of himself nor anyone else; therefore, he says a lots of things that sometimes he actually lies. “
Black Police Officer gets 40 years after being shot 28 times by White Officers Even after an eye-witness testified that the Black Man never fired his weapon, Howard Morgan, 56, was found guilty and sentenced to server 40 years behind bars. Morgan, a railroad police officer, was stopped by four white Chicago policemen on Feb. 21, 2005, for a minor traffic violation. When Morgan explained to one of the white officers that he was a railroad police officer and that he had a gun on him, the white cop yelled, “He’s got a gun!” The other white officers started a shooting rampage that left Morgan with 28 bullet holes in his body. During the shooting, two of the
white officers were shot as well. So the four white officers (John Wrigley, Eric White, Timothy Finley and Nicolas Olsen) got together and concocted a lie to say that OFFICER Harold Morgan, jumped out of his van during a ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP and just started shooting and that they fired in self-defense. After seven years of fighting in court, and spending thousands of dollars in medical bills and legal fees, our poor Black Brother, Harold Morgan, was sentenced on April 5, 2012, by Judge Clayton Crane at the Cook County Criminal Courthouse to serve 40 years in prison on four counts of attempted murder.

THE HYPOCRITES By
Messenger Elijah Muhammad Reprinted from the May 10, 1968 Edition of Muhammad Speaks VERSE 65: “And if thou ask, they would certainly say: We were only talking idly and sporting. Say: Was it Allah and His messages and His Messenger that you mocked?” VERSE 66: “Make no excuse, you disbelieved after your believing. If we pardon a party of you, We shall chastise a party, because they are guilty. VERSE 67: “The hypocrites, men and woman, are all alike. They enjoin evil and fordid good and withhold their hands. They have forsaken Allah, so He has forsaken them. Surely the hypocrites are the transgressors.” VERSE 68: “Allah promises the hypocrites, men and woman and the disbelievers the Fire of hell to abide therein. It is enough for them. And Allah curses them, and for them is a lasting chastisement.” All of the above verses are in Chapter 9 of the Holy Qu-ran THE HYPOCRITES are very much hated ones by Allah, the Messenger, and those who follow him. They come saying “I believe” and go out saying “I do not believe” (Holy Qur-an 2nd Chapter). They are not satisfied with giving up the Truth themselves; they seek to pull others away from the Truth. And, one of their greatest desires is to make people to believe what they are rejecting (Allah, His messages and His Messenger) are liars. This is what angers Allah - for the hypocrites to call Him and His messages and Messenger liars and seek to kill the Messenger, so that their (the hypocrites) lies will not be made manifest. But, this is like playing with fire and knowing not the burn of fire. SOME HYPOCRITES will say “Oh I believe in Allah, but I do not believe in the Messenger - that he is really Allah’s Messenger. Here, again they err, because it is impossible for one to believe in either One-God or the Messenger-and not believe in Both, for the Messenger is the only source of communication and guidance for the people. So, rejecting the Messenger is rejecting God, The Sender of the Messenger. Malcolm’s fall should serve as an example to all hypocrites who wish to scandalize and make mockery at Allah, His messages, and His Messenger. Also, my brother, Karlot’s fall served as a warning to the wistful and proud leaders who want to take upon themselves the honor of the Messenger of Allah, without being chosen by Allah. HOLY QUR-AN Chapter 4 - Verses 142-146: The hypocrites are said - in Verse 143 - to be those who are wavering between this and that, belonging neither to these nor those. THIS IS TRUE. The hypocrite goes out claiming that he is with both parties. He shows a false belief and friendship to both sides. And, this makes him to be an insincere believer or friend to either side. When a believer comes in saying that he believes; and then goes out saying he disbelieves, then he lied at first and he lies going out. This is why a hypocrite cannot be accepted by anyone as being sincere. After you have accepted the truth and declared it to be the truth, if you who come over to follow me to Allah turn your backs on the Truth, we have it in black and white that you
declare yourself to be a believer in Allah and in His Messages, and His Messenger. In fact, you are declaring that you believe as the Messenger believes. Then, he turns his back and calls Allah, His religion, and the Messenger (who preaches that religion) a lie. So, he becomes the most hated person by Allah. This is why Allah says that He will not guide such a one but to the path of hell to abide in it (Find this chapter in the Holy Qur-an). CHAPTER 4 — Verse 145 says “The hypocrites are surely in the lowest depths of the Fire, and thou wilt find no helper for them.” BEFORE the coming of Allah, hypocrites of Islam could get away with saying they believed and did not believe. But today, it is a mistake. A disbeliever suffers the consequences of his disbelief almose at once. It is due to the Presence of God , Himself; the hypocrites rejected prophets previous to His Coming,by using false claims. In the Presence of God, you cannot get away with trying to hide falsehood. This is what He came for, to make manifest the falsehood so that truth may triumph. My followers who turn back suffer such anger and dislike of Allah almost immediately due to the fact that God is present with me as never before to any human being, for I am His first choice and the hypocrite does not know and does not believe that he is really God Who was to come and has come. And, if they believe He is the God, they yet do not believe that I am His Messenger. This makes a disbeliever in both, as the Holy Qur-an teaches, belief in One is belief in Both and disbelief in One is disbelief in Both. LIP PROFESSION --Holy Qur’an Chapter Two: Verse13--And when it is said tothem, Believe as the people believe, they say: shall we believe as the fools believe?” No surely they are the fools, but they know not. Verse14--And when they meet those who believe, the say, We believe; and when they are alone with their devils, they say: Surely we are wtih you, we were only mocking. Verse 15--Allah will pay them back their mockery, and He leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wardering on. IN VERSE 13 where the Hypocrite and disbeliever is said to be making fun of the Muslims (the Believers), calling them foos that believe in the truth, they are really the foos themselves for not believing as the Muslims believe. But, they do not know that they are really the fools. This really mockery of self, when one is trying to mock another one and the other one is more honored than the mocker. The mocker does not know that which he mocks is more in honor than himself. But, yet he lies when he meets those who believe (The Muslims) and says (We believe) and when they are alone with the devils (Verse 14) they say, “surely we are with you. We were only mocking.” THEY GO and tell the devils they were only mocking us, but really they are with them, when they are not really with either one; the devils or the Muslims. In the 15th Verse, Allah says He will pay them back their mockery and this pay-back is followed in these words: “He leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.” This is the consequence of their lying to both sides; the Muslims and the devils. . Allah leaves them blind, wandering, thinking they are going rightly. THE 18TH Verse of Chapter Two refers to them as “deaf, dumb and blind, so they return”. They do not return to light of truth that it may guide them in the way of truth. But,

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad MESSENGER OF ALLAH rather, call the truth a lie, and falsehood the truth. The worst of all is to say you believe in Islam and then later say you disbelieve. We must remember again and again, that Malcolm was an answer for all hypocrites for he came in believe and then went out saying he disbelieved and made mock of God, Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praise is due forever, and His Messenger, Elijah Muhammad. I WARN you, do not play with this truth that I am teaching that came from God, lest you suffer the fire of hell in this life and not after you are dead. Even the Bible teaches you in Revelation (19:20) that the Hypocrites and disbelievers were cast alive in a lake of fire with the devil. The average of our people think that this means spirits. You cannot burn up spirits until you burn up what the spirit is in and the spirit of disbelief is in a person; to destroy it, burn the person up, for there is no spirit (that) has any power to do anything unless it has something of life from which to emit.

Seventy Year Old Black Woman says her Garden is her “Fountain of Youth” By Sister Zakiyah Karim

At 70, AnnetteLarkins has a stunning figure (waist: 20 inches) a flawless complexion, and seems to glow with health. Annette Larkins grows all that she eats in her own backyard. Every corner of her yard has something that is edible. She also collects rainwater to drink and water her plants and according to Annette, her garden is her 'Fountain of Youth." I telephoned Mrs. Larkins to let her know that I would be complimenting her in this edition and explained to her how proud I am of her and what she is accomplishing; and how she has inspired me to get back on my post in following Messenger Elijah Muhammad’s Dietary Law. Mrs. Larkins explained to me that she was introduced to the Messenger’s Teachings of “How To Eat To Live” and the “Don’t Eat Pork” teachings, at the tender age of fourteen. Born in Asheville, N.C., Larkins was reared in Detroit and moved with her family to Miami in her early teens. She was 16 and a stu-
dent at Carver High School when she married Amos Larkins. Two years later, their first son, Amos II, was born; their second, Anthony, followed 10 months later. By age 20, Annette stopped eating pork and meat in general. According to reports, she went to the freezer to take out pork chops for the evening meal, “and just the sight of those chops made me sick,” she says. Annette had always eaten the same as everyone else in black neighborhoods across the country; pork chops, ham hocks and chicken, all of it fried. Her husband worked as a butcher back then, so it wasn't just one kind of meat they'd have at each meal, but two. She had, for a long time, loathed the sight of fat jiggling from the skin of ham hocks, and the thought of eating dead animal flesh, but she had been brought up on it, Then suddenly, at 21, Larkins, a mother of two, a woman with no high school education, became the only vegetarian in the neighborhood. From no more meat, Annette went to no more sugar
and no more processed flour. From there, it was no more cheese and no more dairy. Then, after nearly 21 years, only raw fruits and vegetables. Her husband figures that she got scared off meat after seeing her grandmother die at 36 and her mother at 47, both of cancer, and an aunt died of diabetes.

Messenger’s Teachings on How To Become a Muslim Minister In an exclusive interview printed in the May 12, 1967 Edition of Muhammad Speaks Newspaper, Messenger Elijah Muhammad was asked on three separate occasions: Here are the questions and his responses: Q. How does one become a Muslim minister? A.Any Believer who accepts the truth that God Almighty has brought to us -- in the person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom praise is due forever - is automatically a minister. He may start teaching this truth -- even the women. They all become ministers. Q. How does one become a minister of the Muslim religion? All Muslims are ministers. They believe and they will all minister the truth that they have received. They do not have to be made ministers. They become ministers themselves after hearing the truth... Q. Is every member of the Muslim faith a minister?

EDITORIAL So-called African-Americans Not commonly called Negro anymore By Sister Zakiyah Karim In the Supreme Wisdom Instruction to the Laborers, Messenger Elijah Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to be “right down to the modern times.” Also, during the 1964 Laborers Meeting, in speaking on the Muslim Wants and Beliefs listed on the back of each edition of Muhammad Speaks, The Messenger said, “We don’t want this removed from our paper, but you can revise it a little”. Synonyms of the word “revise” are alteration, difference, modification, redoing, refashioning, remaking, remodeling, revamping, review, change, revision, reworking, variation. Messenger Elijah Muhammad constantly reminded Black people that they were not Negroes, Niggers and Colored People as we were commonly called by self and others, during The Messenger’s lifetime. So our motto on the front page of every Muhammad Speaks Newspaper was this: Dedicated To Freedom, Justice and Equality for the so-called Negro The Earth Belongs to Allah.
Now, in this, “modern time”, it is extremely rare to hear the term Negro. What we hear our blind, deaf and dumb Black people calling themselves and commonly called by other people, in these “modern times” is “AfricanAmerican”. So in late 2011, we revised the Motto on the front page to read: Dedicated To Freedom, Justice and Equality for the so-called Negro (African-American). The Earth Belongs to Allah.

He suggested that before any such revision should take place, the Believers around the country, should be allowed input. We agree with Minister William Al-Malik, based on the fact that we are taught in our Orientation to the Nation of Islam that “The Muhammad Speaks is our only means of direct communication.” Therefore we welcome the suggetions, articles and input of all Believers. ‘George Zimmerman is one of them’ By
Al Calloway Reprinted with Permission from The South Florida Times FLORIDA-- Many people believe that Trayvon Martin was profiled, hunted and slain for being black and wearing a hoodie in the rain. It is an undisputable fact that 28year-old George Zimmerman killed 17-year-old Trayvon by shooting him in the chest with a 9 millimeter handgun. Robert Zimmerman the shooter’s father is a retired judge. Either George strayed far from parental teaching or never received proper moral and ethical, if not spiritual, guidance from his white Hispanic mother and white father. Did George want to kill someone, someone black? Is that why he got a concealed weapon permit and carried the holstered handgun? Talk that may emerge as relevant fact has it that George was obsessed with wanting to be a cop. Did he hang out with close haircut-wearing white cops in redneck bars in and around Sanford? A few weeks ago, I used this space to warn about the churning white nationalism engulfing America from the psychological perspective of Dr. Gordon W. Allport’s definitive book The Nature of Prejudice. Psychologist Allport tells us from 1954, when the Harvard scholar’s book was first published, exactly why “race” (there’s only one race and that’s the human race) is so pronounced in this the age of Barack Obama. Allport cites five stages of prejudice, beginning with anti-locution which is where white adolescents are taught negative stereotypes of black people. Allport’s second stage of prejudice is avoidance, the third is discrimination, then there is physical attack and the fifth stage is genocide. However, still deeper is black psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing’s book The Isis (Yssis) Papers. Welsing asserts, “The ultimate purpose of the system (the white supremacy system/culture) is to prevent white genetic annihilation on Earth — a planet in which the overwhelming majority of people are classified as non-white (black, brown, red and yellow) by whiteskinned people.”
Because of recessive traits such as “numerical inadequacy and genetic color inferiority” — whites, the only humans that lack melanin (responsible for all skin color, of which blacks have the most, then browns, etc.) — developed psychological defense mechanisms. A very important defense mechanism whites developed was “reaction formation,” Welsing writes, “a response that converts (at the psychological level) something desired and envied but wholly unattainable, into something discredited and despised.” Welsing believes that whiteskinned people are the “albino mutant offsprings of blackskinned mothers and fathers in Africa. A sizeable number of these black parents had produced, rejected and then cast out of the community their genetic defective albino offspring, to live away from the normal black skin-pigmented population.” The white tribe moved north to escape the hot sun. That area is now known as Europe, home of the white tribes. So that is who George Zimmerman is, one of them. And after thousands of years, the hate, envy, alienation, anxiety, etc., is the reason, says Welsing, that most white people hate black people and other people of color, as well. I surmise that Zimmerman was going to shoot someone black or

If it can be proved that he hung out with cops, rest assured that Zimmerman knew the ins and outs of how to do a clean shoot that will go down as “justifiable homicide.” Young, slim Trayvon, 11 years bulky George’s junior, was like a deer out in the open. There was no escape from the hunter. Trayvon was dead from the moment George Zimmerman decided to pursue him, just like white cops try to provoke blacks so they can get a shoot or a merciless beatdown. None of them believe “Thou shall not kill” because black males are the deer and they are the hunters. Bang! You’re dead! Messenger Elijah Muhammad made it clear, during his Theology of Time lecture on October 15, 1972 (available on CD): “We want to correct you in the public so the public won't think that we are going along with these mistakes, of backing you up in them. I don't back you up in that which is other than the truth. I don't care what you say, because it could be on me. ‘Mr. Muhammad, you are God, you are Master Fard Muhammad.’ Don't tell me that. Master Fard Muhammad is the One that I'm representing. I am the man who just wants to take my own place, and then leave the place that I don't belong in to the man who belongs there. I have heard some of you socalled believers putting your place in somebody else's place and making yourselves somebody else.What you are making is other than the truth. We want our people to be converted out of un-truth into truth. We don't want to add nothing to the truth, because that will make it other than the truth. We're going to make it a habit of exposing you before those whom you lied to, letting them know that you were not telling them the truth. I don't back you up in telling other than the truth. I am going to force those who are seeking truth to not to back you up in it, and to walk out on you, because I'm going to tell them the truth. If you tell them other than the truth, I'm going to tell them that you told other than the truth right before their face, like you told them other than the truth to their face. I'm going to tell them the truth to their face. I'm not here to preach lies, I'm here to preach the truth.You have lived under falsehood all your lives. The truth has come and falsehood must vanish. We were born under falsehood; consequently, we love falsehood rather than truth. As the Bible puts it, ‘They're born under darkness, we love darkness rather than light; so, when light comes we flee back looking for the darkness.’
You have many things being taught and put out to the people as though I teach you that, so you will get your lies accepted. Brothers and sisters, I do not teach the people other than the truth. What I teach is truth. I'm not here to add anything to the truth. I'm not here trying to make you think I'm something that I'm not. If you think that I'm trying to make you see me in the light of something I'm not, get your book and come on and I will get my book and will prove to you that I don't go beyond the scope of my mission which Allah has given to me. If I say anything beyond what I've been missioned to do, which you can't find me backed up in the scripture of truth, come to me and I'll pay you a hundred dollars for every word - oh no, that's not enough, ten thousand dollars then for every story that I tell you which is other than the truth. If you find anything I'm doing that you can prove is other than righteous, I will give you ten thousand dollars if the answer cannot be located in the scripture of truth. There never was a false prophet sent to the people in the past, and this is not one standing before you. Some of the things that I do, you may label as being other than right, but that's just because you have not read the scriptures. You haven't learned what the Last Man should look like, what he should do or how that the book teaches you that he is a Fulfiller. You don't take the time to read what a Fulfiller is. When a man comes to you and is sent by another one, and tells you that he fulfills Jonah's scriptures, well then , you should go and read Jonah and learn what Jonah did, to see if whether or not this man fulfills his work. Fulfill means to do the same work which that man did. If the man you're talking to corresponds, then he's fulfilling; however if you don't see Jonah's work, in this man's work, then he doesn't fulfill Jonah's work. Fulfill means to do what another one does. So be careful about how you label people to be something that they are not. I want you to know that I don't condone falsehood, and if you
want to do so, you are not following me, you're following yourself. I have some brothers who are just going out making up text of their own and delivering it to you to believe. I'm going to teach you the history of Jesus as Allah gave it to me, but please don't you try teaching it unless you're going to teach the truth. Some of you are going wild, telling everything you think. We don't want what you think, we want what God has taught us. We want His thinking and not yours. This is what gives the people a wrong understanding of us. Here stands a liar on this corner and there stands a truth bearer on that corner. The people don't know which one to believe. The liar just says whatever comes up. All you know is how to tell something different from what you've learned. I don't want that kind of man or woman following me. Don't add to what you hear me saying, nor take from what you hear me saying. It is the truth that I have received. When you go adding and taking from it, you make it other than the truth. I want to tell new people to stop listening to any such talk or teaching that is not the same words that I am teaching. I would rather for all of them to come hear what I am saying directly, and if they find me telling other than the truth, then the whole teaching is other than the truth. You won't find me telling you other than the truth. Not nothing I say. If you think I'm telling other than the truth, come and explain to me what you think is other than the truth and I will give you a check for ten thousand dollars before you leave here. If that's not enough, I will make it ten thousand times ten thousand. My goal to God is to tell you the truth, because a liar reared us and we can't leave that liar with his lie. We have to have the truth to GO FROM HIM. Anything that I say, you're always welcomed to question me on it. I don't run from you just because you want to ask questions. I should say not; I'm here for you to question me on the knowledge of the truth, which I'm teaching. You are offered that freedom by
God Himself, Who taught me to ask Him questions and learn all about myself. I'm equipped with the truth from Almighty God Allah. Some of it you may not understand, but don't try condemning that which you don't understand yourself. Don't fancy out nothing. Just tell the plain old truth. I want to straighten out these false teachings, so that you may know the truth from myself who received it directly from the mouth of God. As I said, I'm willing to pay with my life for lying to you, if you find me lying. No, I'm not going to lie; no sir, I'm going to tell you the truth even if only one of you listens to it. I won't add a lie to it to make a house full of people listen to it. I'm going to teach you the truth. A person could say, ‘I come to a place like this and you mislead me, telling other than the truth of what the Messenger has taught? Well brother, I don't care to walk with you in the Gate.’ What do you think I am, a liar? Try and prove it. I'm here directly from the face of God, as it's written. I didn't come of my own; I was raised up in your midst and sent to teach you the truth. No man on Earth could teach you what I'm teaching you. Why do you add to it? Why do you throw lies into it? As people listen to you, they will tell it, then you will be brought before me one day and I have the power with God to put a finishing touch on you. I'm certainly very dissatisfied with you rising up and taking hold of the truth, then putting it back before the people as lies from yourself. We may not like you after a while and I'm asking you to stop before we dislike you. When saying, "We," I mean God Himself and I. You are doing wrong things. We are here to kill the liar and destroy him who has destroyed the people of righteousness, by misleading them in the way of other than the truth. This is a good way to learn who your brother is. Just make up lies and go tell it to the people, making them think I'm teaching you that. It means you are coming to

I want people who love the results of truth and the result of the lies and the liar. I can prove everything I preach to you, everything. I prove to you that it is the truth, not only that, everything I do can prove that it's the truth. We believe that we have very intelligent people. We want them to listen to the truth, even to something of business which we should be doing and not to a lot of little brothers who don't know what they're talking about, just opening up their mouths saying what they think. I want you to know that I'm not participating in such foolishness and I don't teach any. They're the foolish brother or sister who take the teaching and try making themselves look wise, but are actually making themselves look like a fool. I don't condone nothing of the kind. The truth alone is sufficient to make you admire it or you can disbelieve and leave it alone.”

In order to experience the Reality of Heaven At Once, The Outcome of Heaven At Once, we have to begin truly aligning our Thinking and Desires with God! If His Greatest Desire is that We Sit Ourselves In Heaven at Once We Have To First Be Ourselves! This is the Key! This is The Root That will Bring about the Fruits of Heaven and everything else we need and want in this life. We must HarmoNEW YORK--
nize our Desires with The God, Which is the Reality of Heaven at Once for Ourselves while we are living. Next we must begin thinking in the manner of a Righteous Muslim and connect our actions with the corresponding activity of doing something for self. WHAT IS A RIGHTEOUS MUSLIM, AND CAN I BE MY SELF? What does it mean to be a righteous Muslim? The Holy Qur'an states that Islam is the nature in which He has created us in. Uprightness is synonymous with righteousness, meaning that it's the same thing, therefore when Allah Almighty says, “And Set your face for religion, being upright, the nature in which I created you... He is saying to Be Yourself. Be what I created you to be.
Don't let an enemy deceive you regarding yourself and your nature. Your nature is to display the attributes of your Father (Allah); to be like Him. To serve Him, by being like Him. How can you be like God? Jesus said it best, when he wonderfully declares that• When you see me you See the Father, For I am in The Father and The Father is In Me, I and my Father are One,. I of myself can do nothing, for whatever the Father commanded me, that I do. Prophet Muhammad (peace is upon him) was the same way; in that he completely submitted his will to do the will of Allah Almighty. That is the pathway of heaven. I didn't say necessarily pathway to heaven, but it is The Pathway Of Heaven. Submission to Allah is a way of life, a life of Heaven on Earth. Yes, there may be trials along the way, but anything of value has a difficulty factor attached to it... You're
of value right? And to be born, you experienced periods of pain and suffering to come forth from the womb, correct? That’s the way God ordained life. Allah created man to face difficulties! However, the trials are not permanent! Thank God... So don't be afraid of trials along your journey of a Heavenly life. Just be comforted in Knowing that it is all a part of the process. To past the Test and to be rewarded with even greater blessings we must practice the way of patience, and steadfastness under trial. We should possess the spirit of faith, by gratitude and trust in Allah, until the test is over. and then we can smile together and celebrate the mighty achievement of purification, and development of character. We must always remember that The Master Teacher, Allah, is our True Patron and Is With us at All times, if we are believers.

People say, “Oh you were born Nation of Islam, that’s why you say or think that.’ YES, I was born in The Nation but I wanted to MAKE SURE what I was doing was right and was the truth. just like I’m sure YOU do. So I asked questions, studied, not only my own religion, but others as well. I wanted to find a hole, but couldn’t. Not just because my parents say it’s true. and not because “The Minister” says it’s true. THE MOST HON ELIJAH MUHAMMAD teaches us to ask questions and look for ourselves and to even check behind him.
Jesus said, “And you Shall KNOW the truth and the truth shall make you free.” -Bible John 8:32 Once we KNOW THE TRUTH what will we be free from? Truth makes us FREE FROM FALSEHOOD! Free from being lied to. Once we know the truth of a thing, we become free of NOT KNOWING the truth. Messenger Elijah Muhammad made a real good point when he said, “Jesus did not tell you what that truth was, that would make you free, you don't have it there, no. He could not tell you at that time, he was 2,000 years ahead of the time when the truth should be told. We're most hated because we have the knowledge of such truth.” Islam is not really a “religon”, it’s a way of life. We have been so mislead by the white man (devil) we don’t even know our ownself, which is a Muslim. What is a Muslim? “A muslim is one who
gives up his/her will to do the will of Allah (God)” which means, we give up what we wanna do for what He wants us to do. I know some of you think “Islam is Crazy!” because we say that the white man is the devil and the black man is god. Check history and try to prove it wrong. The white man (as a group) has an EVIL HISTORY! The black man (as a group) has a HISTORY of being the most FORGIVING people on earth. Black people in America have forgiven white people for over 400 years of slavery of and mistreatment up to this very day. Most of you think that it’s blasphemy or (a lack of faith) to question the teachings you think you “Believe in”. Malik Shakoor Muhammad Now, to give a more defined explanation of what it means to be a righteous Muslim, we can look together at Allah's definition of righteousness in the Holy Qur'an: He says: “Righteousness is not he who turns his face towards the east or the west, but righteous is he who Believes in Allah, and the last Day, and who believes in His Prophets and Messengers, and His Books and Revelations, His Angels, and His Perfect Judgment, The Resurrection and The Hereafter. One who gives wealth out of Love for Him to the near of kin, the wayfarer, the needy, and to those who ask. Those who keep up prayer, and pay the poor rate. Who are performers of there promise when they make a promise, and those who set the captive slaves free, and the patient and firm under distress, and affliction, and during times of conflict, these are the truthful with there Lord and those who keep their duty.” Also according to Allah, is to be obedient to Him and His Messenger. Allah loves those who are dutiful, and He greatly rewards the dutiful believer. To be dutiful is to fulfill the above description of what righteousness means to Allah. This is the way of life for the true believer in (Allah) God. To be dutiful, We must, not only, accept and believe in the truth, but we must be willing to share the truth and the faith with others, in a wise way (by being a good example). Minister Kemani Wadud July 19, 1972- March 6, 2012 Funeral services were held for Minister Kemani Baraka Wadud, on Saturday, March 10, 2012 in Philadelphia. Believers from around the country joined together to walk the last mile with this well loved and widely known Brother. Minister Kemani’s wife, Sister Janine Ali Wadud, gave birth to their son , Wali Ibn Kemani, just 3 days before his departure. Brother Kemani was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Ronnie and Barbara Maddox. Most of his early life was spent in many different states and countries since he was a “Navy brat” and traveled with his family. He loved to draw as a young man. Brother Kemani graduated from Largo High School in 1990 where he played the trumpet in the band and was a member of the ROTC. He went on to receive his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from college, Brother Kemani became a member of the Nation of Islam. In 2006, he began attending Temple Meetings with Min. Samuel Ramadan. And on August 6, 2006, Minister Ramadan appointed Brother Kemani to be Lieutenant. Now Capt., Bro. Ronnie Ramadan recalls how Bro. Kemani taught him how to check people has they came into the Temple, “He was a very humble brother. He was real patience with me. He was very happy to teach me. He’d show me by checking me. Then I would practice what he taught me by checking him.” Brother Kemani spent most of his
time encouraging others to eat right and to be a good Muslim (One who submits to the will of Allah (God). He studied hard and became a Minister to the followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad (peace be upon him) and frequently held meetings in the DC area. Minister Kemani wrote many articles, which were published in this Muhammad Speaks Newspaper. He earned the title of TOP SALESMAN three years in a row and received many awards for it. He worked for the PG County Clerk’s Office for many years before retiring early due to disablity. Always one to smile, he will always be remember for his kind heart. Minister Kemani was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie A. Maddox. To preserve, perpetuate and rejoice his memory are his dear wife, Sister Janine Ali Wadud, his son Wali Ibn Kemani, his Mother Barbara Maddox, his sister Kemile Palmer, his niece and two nephews, his grandmother, Louise A. Stoddard, five aunts, nine uncles and a whole Nation of Muslim Brothers and Sisters who loved him. Brother Charles X (Morris) of Chicago, IL wrote on Facebook: “He was a beautiful brother, who loved Messenger Elijah Muhammad's teaching...He was genuinely one of the nicest Muslims I've ever had the pleasure of knowning. May Allah in the person of Master Fard Muhammad be please with Bro. Kemani. I am one who will greatly miss this brother.”

Brother John 9X RHODE ISLAND--In the name of Allah, who came in the person of Master Fard Muhammad. We can never thank him enough for raising up from among us, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Last and Greatest Messenger of Allah.
As-Salaam-Alaikum, Brothers and Sisters. Our lessons guide us. Everyday we can see the wisdom of what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has said. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, our Beloved Messenger has spoken out on it. This is why we are so fortunate. We have a guide who was taught by Allah (God) Himself. He wants us to get out of the mud. He wants us to get out of the muck, mire, and the quicksand, that pulls us down. We can be in Heaven here on earth at once! But what about our Black Brothers and Sisters. We are taught to love them unconditionally. Certainly we would rather help them and do business with them than we would with the devil himself. But what happens when these two groups merge. When Black Brothers and Sisters become lying and deceitful so much that they become just like the devil himself. The Messenger said in Message to the Blackman: “Some so-called Negroes, who are in love with the devil,…. seeking friendship with this race of devils means seeking a place in their hell!” The following is what happened to me: I had saved my money over a period of years. I told a Black brother this and he asked me if I would want to invest it. He told me that he knew of property that was very cheap because of the

recession and that I could get it at a good price. He knew I was out of state but that he could help me because he was a property manager, so he would manage it for me. All I would have to do is buy it and let the money roll in. By buying it, I would be helping myself and helping him. It seemed almost too good to be true and looking back at it, it was. But I was sucked in. We want for our Brother what we want for ourselves! And I never thought a devil could wear black skin. At first, everything was OK. Rents were coming in steady. I was paying the management fee so that the Brother was happy, and I was getting a decent return on my investment. But soon things started go get sour. Rents weren’t coming in as steady. Then, they weren’t coming in at all. One month the excuse the brother gave me was that the tenants were a bunch of deadbeats that didn’t want to pay. The next month it was that he was too soft, that he couldn’t be hard on the tenants because they were in a bad situation. But the reality was that this brother was crooked. He would get cash from the tenants and instead of reporting it would just skim it off the top. With checks he would deposit them into his management company account then give me the crumbs. Everything went right into his pocket. He used me to set up a business for himself. It was perfect for him. I bought the properties, I paid the taxes and repairs, yet he got the income. Brothers and Sisters, it took me months to figure it out. I couldn’t believe that my brother would treat me so unfairly. But then I started to analyse the situation. He was a devout Christian. His wife was a white woman. He smoked like a furnace and used bad language like a salty sailor. He was a Brother but he was just like the devil himself. We want to trust our Brother, but the Honorable Elijah Muhammad doesn’t want us to be fools! We keep our guard up for the devil with steel blue eyes and pale white skin. We know that he is a mischiefmaker who causes the shedding of blood. But sometimes the devil looks
like us. It is because some of us love him and his world so much we would do anything. We, as followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, must remember that our only friend is Allah, Who came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad. We thank Allah for His coming to us in the Person of Master W. F. Muhammad and for raising up our Messenger, Elijah Muhammad. Allah says in the HQ 57:28 “O you who believe,keep your duty to Allah and believe in His Messenger. He will give you a light in which you shall walk, and forgive you. And Allah is forgiving,Merciful” . Brothers and Sisters it can’t be stressed enough for us to keep our duty to serve Allah and follow his Messenger’s Teachings.It is in fact true that many Spiritual Leaders, male and female, have stood fearless through out our time here in the hell’s of America. If I start naming them, an important person who fought in our struggle would be left out. In All they were one and the same fighting for our cause In The Name of Allah. Today Messenger Elijah may not be here, physically, but we still have his many lectures and books to continue to guide us. For Muslims and like minds, let us remain on Messenger’s, Elijah Muhammad’s side. Look at some of us now, who think they have graduated from the Messengers teaching and found another Islamic persuasion. They barely want to give you the greetings of Peace. Like they are ashamed of their identity and from whence they came. This is a new Islam that we have, void of hypocrisy, dope and all of those Un Islamic behaviors that they bring in our communities.The Holy Quran
Says: HQ 4:86 “And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet with one better than it, or return it. Surely Allah ever takes account of all things”. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said “ The nearest of people to Allah are those who give a greeting first.” This topic can also be explained from a lecture by Messenger Elijah Muhammad titled “ The Meaning of As Salaam Alaikum”. Where is the true love in Islam? Believe me it’s here among a small group that truly love The Messenger. Not caught up in glamour and fame. Many of the gangs in the communities show more love for each other than I have witnessed in a long time. What do you think would happen if this message, that we were given, would settle in the minds of so-called gang members? That would be a tremendous impact! Devout young men and women accepting the teachings. If we look at the picture since 1975, when Our Nation fell and what we had was lost and stolen from us by Hypocrites. Since then, Muslims have opposed one another, argued over leadership, made false claims, reverted to an unhealthy lifestyle. Leaders have come in and pushed the Messengers teaching aside and are now misguiding our lost family. Jesus taught us about the Devil in sheep’s clothing. Fire breathing Ministers, Fire breathing Captains, Fire breathing Lieutenants, Fire breathing people who try to fool you into thinking they Follow Allah who came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad. Islam is common sense and common decency, family. The road map to true happiness has been given to us if we follow the example that has been revealed to us. Without a solid foundation of Divine principles in our lives allows room for any unstableness.. It is a challenge on ourselves to follow and believe what the Messenger said.The Economic Blueprint has been laid before us. It’s time to ban together, arm and arm, and really mean what we say and work toward these goals. How many of us have Family Care Homes for the Mentally Challenged, Retirement Homes for Pioneers of The Nation of Islam, Foster Care and Day Care? I have had these businesses and they pay well. We must be true to ourselves when we take a business adventure. We can capitalize on these
funded economic resources and enhance our well being. Just look at the impact we could make in our communities caring for our own. Every where I have traveled, outside of this country, people have cared for their own, not depending on a system designed for them. I have met with religious leaders and scholars, and was a student of Shiek Abdul Aziz Ben Baz of Medina Saudi Arabia and still my love for Messenger Elijah Muhammad’s Teachings never diverted. In Our Savior Has Arrived , Messenger Muhammad Says: Allah’s greatest teaching and warning to us ( the so-called negro) is “Be yourself ” what is our own self ? He answers that “Your own self “ is a righteous Muslim, born of the tribe Shabazz. What has happened to the men that used to represent The Messenger? They have turned their backs on God! For the record there are still some devout Pioneers and their offspring that follow the Messengers teachings. We were taught to make our word bond according to the Messenger’s teaching. For some of us, it appears that those are only false sayings now. Some brothers say “Insha Allah ( if it be The Will of Allah )” knowing all the time they are lying the entire time they had no intention to do it in the first place. DIETARY GUIDLINES! Why is diet so important? How far will your car go with no gas or oil? A true God-sent Messenger brings LAWS! Among the laws are dietary ones. Allah (God) ALWAYS sends guidelines on proper, life-giving eating. WHAT TO EAT AND WHAT NOT TO EAT! First...Get the people going and feeling well. So...recognizing a TRUE MESSENGER IS MOST IMPORTANT! Has God ever sent dietary laws by the politician? The King? The President? The ever present promeinent preachers? The eloquent? When did you EVER receive dietary laws from these people? The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, The Messenger of Allah, is the only one to bring the so-called negro in North America a proper diet. One designed to clear body and mind for harder times. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, who Allah raised from among us, loved us so that in 1967 he published a book titled, “HOW TO EAT TO LIVE”, an appropriate title. Filled with dietary laws for the body, mind and spirit.
In 1972, he published another book, titled, “HOT TO EAT TO LIVE, BOOK 2”. These books are still being sold and read. It is clear by the success of His mission, who Allah chose and raised to lead, out of Hell, those who have eyes and hearts. All praise is due to Allah, we have been given a BLUEPRINT to heaven! No so-called leader has EVER done this. Some will tell you to, “Eat a well balance meal.” Do they ever explain what that means. It is one thing to write a book or give advice on what to eat, but when you not only spend money but devote your life to making sure black people get the message, you are truly from the Creator. Proper eating is one of a series of steps bringing us to the full realization of judgement and bettering our lives in the process of redemption. There are few things better than good health, physical, mental and spiritual. The Messenger tells us to be dutiful in WHERE we purchase our food. An eatablishment name MOO AND OINK should caution a wise person to STAY AWAY as the pig and cow will certainly be mixed. See page 76 of “How To Eat To Live,” regarding the Trichina worms, destroying humans as termites destroy timber. So many ailments are mis-diagnosed, actually being caused by the deadly Trichina worm, which is also found in poultry, fish, lamb and beef. Page 124 (HTETL) “We are by nature vegetable and fruit eating people.” The Holy Quran and Bible continually warn against the eating or touching of swine. Some food has pork in it as shortening. Much gelatin is pork When bread or any other food simply states,”shortening”, it is pork or lard shortening. LEAVE IT THERE! There are some manufacturers that will put signs on their food to let the wise know it is safe to eat.. The signs to look for are: “ K....P (Pareve) made without milk, meat or their
derivatives...U...and made with vegetable shortening” IF THE WORD SHORTENING APPEARS ALONE (without the sign), LEAVE IT! REGARDING RAMADAN See pages 49-50 (HTETL) This was given to us for the month of December to keep us away from the Christian way of celebrating the birth of Jesus in a month he was not born and to stop the intake of Whiskey, wine, drugs, etc.Ramadan is actually the ninth month of the Arab calender. It means excessive heat.

Brother Minister Samuel Ramadan: Witness the Beauty of the Wildflower BALTIMORE--Born September 18, 1934, Minister Samuel Ramadan is one of the most remarkable Brothers you will ever meet. After Messenger Elijah Muhammad (peace be upon him) died (February 25, 1975) , he and his wife, Sister Ferdine Ramadan divorced. She returned to the church, and Minister Ramadan was left alone to raised his seven children (5 daughters and 2 sons). Minister Ramadan knew the plight of a child being abandoned by his parents all too well. His own mother, whose whose name he never learned, died when he was a baby. His father, Samuel Barnett, drank himself to death

It’s difficult to get people to understand the difference between street and club jazz. There’s a lot to contend with on the streets. I’ve got to be watchful, because I don’t know

My aunt used to tap dance at the theaters in New York and all. She took me to New York when I was a boy. and I used to hang around the Apollo Theatre and Birdland. That’s where I saw the giants. (John Coltrane, Sarah Vaughan, etc.) Earl Bostic was my main inspiration. He’d just take standards and do beautiful things with them. What I love about street jazz is I can reach the people, ‘cause I’m right there with them. You might see some guy who’s messed his whole life up, miserable as hell. You’ve got to put some life in him. Somebody’s walking by, deader than a brick, You’ve got to make them feel good, man. And I can reach children. Little babies will be looking around listening --
that’s the sweetness of it. Some of them might even touch the instruments, you know. And their families appreciate it because it’s an education. Some ki)ds might not ever get that close to a trumpet player again. You’ve got wildflowers and you’ve got hothouse flowers. There’s a big difference. But some folks are able to see the beauty in the wildflower. And that’s what I really am.” Brother Capt. Ronnie Ramadan, who could easily be mistaken for a family member, but is not, proudly bears witness to the beauty of this wildflower: Brother Capt. said, “Minister Ramadan is a remarkable man. I met Min. Ramadan in the 1970s on the music curcuit. I played bass guitar. When I met him he had been a member of Alcoholics Annoyomus (AA) for 19 years. His chiildren never seen him take a drink. Clean and sober. When I came around, I gave him a fit. I was a terrible cocaine addict and alcoholic. The Minister helped me with my addiction. I’m clean and sober now.

We cannot deny the fact that the Christian West is responsible for this universal corruption in the land and sea. From the same corruption that their own hands have wrought will come their doom. The Christians preach that which they do not do and cannot do; such as "Love thy neighbor." I have as yet to meet one who loved his neighbor as he did himself; "Thou shall not kill." I have as yet to meet such a Christian. They even fight against each other, rob and kill each other, but yet represent themselves as world peacemakers -- with whom? The great deceivers of the world will reap what they have sown. Have they not corrupted many people and nations under the guise of good, peaceful, loving Christians? The Christian West is full of the worst crimes, practicing evils and indecencies to the fullest and seeking to practice them on other nations as well. Universal tempters are ever parading before the world their bold half-nude girls and women. They are before your eyes in almost everything. Murder, gambling, robbery, drunkenness, drugs, adultery, lying -- there is hardly any end to it. Their land and seas are filled with deadly weapons of war; their islands of the sea are filled with corruption by all the nations of earth, for they are proud and boastful and are now hated and despised according to their wishes. Their religion Christianity is a curse to us (the Black man) and is full of slavery teaching. They have poisoned the Bible with their adding to and taking from the truth. Now their doom is in sight. It is their own work. They command the sea with their powerful navies, parking them off the shores of other nations. They secure air bases on their soils to place their deadly bomb -- carrying planes within easy striking distances of those whom they fear to be their enemies. Is this not the
easy way to make enemies? Is this the act of a real Christian, the followers of Jesus whom they preach came for the peace of mankind and to teach the sheathing of the sword and the turning of the other cheek? Where is a good Christian among this race? They love meddling in other people’s affairs. They are in every fight or war -- it matters not with whom or where -- but yet crying "Peace! Peace!" with every deadly weapon of war to provoke other nations to war. Shall not the God of Peace and Justice deal with you and your troublemaking as He did with those before you? I warn every one of you, my people -- fly to Allah with me for refuge. As I warned you, the judgment of this world has arrived! Get out of their slave-making Christianity and into the right religion, Islam. The house you are in shall surely fall and never rise again.

The long-term research, conducted by Yale University, found that ten years ago, this same group of people viewed the problem of so-called “global-warming” (aka the divine weather-related destruction of America) was a problem that might happen in the distant future. Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication, reportedly said, “What's interesting about these results is that it suggests Americans are beginning to internalize climate change, to bring it into the here and now.” The survey of more than 1,000 Americans (white people) ages 18 and older between March 12 and March 30, 2012, showed that 72 percent of Americans believe socalled global warming worsened.

The Muslim Program What the Muslims Want This is the question asked most frequently by both the whited and the blacks. The answers to this question I shall state as simply as possible. 1. We want freedom. We want a full and complete freedom. 2. We want justice. Equal justice under the law. We want justice applied equally to all, regardless of creed, or class, or color. 3. We want equality of opportunity. We want equal membership in society with the best in civilized society. 4. We want our people in America whose parents or grandparents were descendants from slaves, to be allowed to establish a separate state or territory of their own...either on this continent or elsewhere. We believe that our former slave masters are obliged to provide such land and that the area must be fertile and minerally rich. We believe that our former slave masters are obligated to maintain and supply our needs in this separate territory for the next 20 to 25 years...until we are able to produce our own needs. Since we cannot get along with them in peace and equality, after giving them 400 years of our sweat and blood, and receiving in return some of the worst treatment human beings have ever experienced, we believe our contributions to this land and the suffering forced upon us by white America, justifies our demand for complete separation in a state or territory of our own. 5. We want freedom for all Believers of Islam now held in federal prisons. We want freedom for all black men and women now under death sentence in innumerable prisons in the North, as well as the South. We want every black man and woman to have the freedom to accept or reject being separated from the slave master's children and establish a land of their own. We know that the above plan for the solution of the black and white conflict is the best and only answer to the problem between two people. 6. We want an immediate end to the police brutality and mob attacks against the so-called Negro throughout the United States. We believe that the Federal government should intercede to see that black men and women tried in white courts receive justice in accordance with the laws of the land - or allow us to build a new nation for ourselves, dedicated to justice, freedom and liberty. 7. As long as we are not allowed to establish a state or territory of our own, we demand not only
equal justice under the laws of the United States, but equal employment opportunities - NOW. We do not believe that after 400 years of free or nearly free labor, sweat and blood, which has helped America become rich and powerful, that so many thousands of black people should have to subsist on relief, charity, or live in poor homes. 8. We want the government of the United States to exempt our people from All Taxation as long as we are deprived of equal justice under the laws of the land. 9. We want equal education -but separate schools up to 16 for boys and 18 for girls on the condition that the girls be sent to women's colleges and universities. We want all black children, educated, taught and trained by their own teachers. Under such schooling systems we believe we will make a better nation of people. The United States government should provide, free, all necessary text books and equipment, schools, and college buildings. The Muslim teachers shall be left free to teach and train their people in the way of righteousness, decency and self respect. 10. We believe that intermarriage or race mixing should be prohibited. We want the religion of Islam taught without hindrance or suppression. These are some of the things that we, the Muslims, want for our people in North America.
What the Muslims Believe 1. WE BELIEVE in the One God Whose proper Name is Allah. 2. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Qur'an and in the Scriptures of all the Prophets of God. 3. WE BELIEVE in the truth of the Bible, but we believe that it has been tampered with and must be reinterpreted so that mankind will not be snared by the falsehoods that have been added to it. 4. WE BELIEVE in Allah's Prophets and the Scriptures they brought to the people. 5. WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the dead -- but not in the physical resurrection -- but in mental resurrection. We believe that the so-called Negro's are most in need of mental resurrection therefore they will be resurrected first. Furthermore, we believe we are the people of God's choice, as it has been written. That God would choose the rejected and the despised. We can find no other persons fitting this description in these last days more than the socalled Negro's in America. We believe in the resurrection of the righteous. 6. WE BELIEVE in the judgement; We believe this first judgement will take place in America. 7. WE BELIEVE this is the time in history for the separation of the so-called Negro's and so-called white Americans. We believe the black men should be freed in name as well as in fact. By this we mean that he should be freed

We do not believe that we are equal with our slave master in the status of "freed slaves". We recognize and respect American citizens as independent people and we respect their laws which govern this nation. 9. WE BELIEVE that the offer of Integration is hypocritical and is made by those who are trying to deceive the black people into believing that their 400 year-old open enemies of freedom, justice and equality are, all of a sudden, their "friends". Furthermore, we believe that such deception is intended to prevent black people from realizing that the time in history has arrived for the separation from the whites of this nation. If the white people are truthful about their professed friendship toward the so-called Negro, they can prove it by dividing up America with their slaves. We do not believe that America will ever be able to furnish jobs for her own millions of unemployed, in addition to jobs for the 20,000,000 black people as well. 10. WE BELIEVE that we who declared ourselves to be righteous Muslims, should not participate in wars which take the lives of humans. We do not believe this nation should force us to take part in such wars, for we have nothing to gain from it unless America agrees to give us the necessary territory wherein we may have something to fight for. 11. WE BELIEVE our women should be respected and protected as the women of their nationalities are respected and protected. 12. WE BELIEVE that Allah (God) appeared in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, July, 1930; the longawaited "Messiah" of the Christians and the "Mahdi" of the Muslims. We believe further and lastly that Allah is God and besides HIM there is no God and He will bring about a universal government of peace wherein we all can live in peace together.
