Learning to Learn ( Design and Material ) Skills Audit

!

Reflecting back on the Design and Material module I have realised that during the period of my work for the submission, I have benefited greatly. One of the areas that I benefitted the most while working on this module are my abilities in AutoCad. I learned how to create even more complex shapes and models. Most importantly i know how to import and exports files from Sketchup into AutoCad and the other way round.

!

Emphasising on importing files back and forth from Sketchup and AutoCad, this skill i will use repetitively in the future. It has definitely saved a great deal of time for me during this module and it will continue to save valuable time in the future. I did face difficulties trying to learn how to do it in the beginning. I had issues with not have a clean import. The lines where extended, didn't look very clean. However after several tries i was able to figure out how to make a clean export from sketch up and a import to AutoCad.
