SUMMATIVE REPORT ! Sketchup is one of the programs that i already had a fair knowledge in. I used it for my A Levels Design and Technology subject. It is one of the softwares that I encouraged myself to learn and self fought. "

"

Learning Sketchup on my known came with many bad habits. One of the most important ones was keyboard shortcuts. Before attending Sketchup lessons with Paul i had to refer back to the tool bar every time i wanted to change the tool and use another. At this point, i now know most of the tools on the keyboard without having to even think about it. This make my working time more efficient on sketchup and accelerated the total time by at least ten times faster. "

"

One of the new things that i learned in Sketchup is the move tool while hitting the alt key. As i mentioned above those specific keys allow you to make a copy of an object. This is one of the most useful tools i learned on sketch up this year. I used this very clearly in my Design and Material project to copy the 60 replicas of each layer of my bridge, If it wasn't for this technique that i have developed i wouldn't have been able to create a clean and clear repetitive model. "

"

Another tool i mostly enjoyed learning during the Sketchup lessons is the follow me tool. The reason i am greatly satisfied by learning this tool is because i tried many times and failed at using it on my own. Mastering the follow me tool is one of my favourite new things i learned from Sketch tutorials with Paul this year. That is one of the reasons i have clear notes about the several lessons i attended about the follow me tool.
