RUNNING A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS COMES WITH A WHOLE LOT OF STRESS AND MUM GUILT.

Mum Guilt is real. It is the feeling of guilt, doubt, anxiousness or uncertainty experienced by Mothers when they worry they are falling short of expectations in some way, and it is often worse in working mums. Being a working Mum is a daily juggle. As a Mum, it is hard to put your self-care first, but I discovered a magic wand. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). EFT has made me feel more present for my family, confident I can run a successful business, grateful for all that I have and my guilt and anxiety is gone.
I was jst an ordinary stressed out Mum, with a supportive husband and two young teenage boys. That was five years ago. My life was about organising people, working in a management position in a hospital, a business coach, a physiotherapist, running on adrenaline and getting upset with people who were unable to work as efficiently as me. Yes, I was very anxious. My friend suggested I try Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). EFT has the nickname Tapping because it involves using 2 or 3 fingers to tap on acupuncture points on the body, primarily on the head, face and chest in a particular sequence whilst focussing on the issue. Tapping reduces both physical and emotional pain, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD- any unwanted emotion. It can also be used to improved performance and motivation.
