These days the internet exposes us to a myriad of opinions. There is advice on how to parent, how to clean your home, what to feed your child, how to dress your child, which developmental activities your child needs to live a full life, the programme you must buy to learn advanced parenting techniques...Goodness! I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

Here in Australia, when it’s summer it’s typically the time to get to the beach, enjoy iceblocks and long walks in the evening. However, in winter, jumpers and scarves are more appropriate attire, winter soups are on the menu and nights snuggled up by the fireplace with a good book are a must!

As a mother, you will experience all the seasons of life. Perhaps you are currently enjoying summer. But the seasons will change and winter will come. There is beauty in each season. Discerning what you need specifically for the season you are in is a valuable skill to have. Choosing the resources, activities and people you need to invest in at any given time will help you to maintain peace in your heart and in your home.

Find clarity around what matters most to you. From this place, you will be able to narrow down the important habits, traditions and routines that bring you peace and enjoyment.
