Madison, New York Artist Featured in the Gift Gallery
K
athy Shelter-Pegg, from Madison, N.Y., is a new artist featured in the Gift Gallery with work that is representational as well as abstract. Her journey as an artist started as an under-
graduate interested in the technical aspect of art. Photo-realism was very popular at that time and Kathy tried to make her work indistinguishable from a photograph. It was while she was working on her Master's Degree that she took the leap into a highly abstract style that seemed to fit her just fine. She has been concentrating on abstract artwork ever since and loving it. Prints available at the Gift Gallery are of her representational as well as her abstract work.
