All-Star Cast Brings Fast Paced and Funny Show Selected Shorts: Live in Performance! Funny Food Fictions September 20 • 8 p.m.

T

he hit public radio series and popular podcast brings a cast of terrific actors to perform live 8 p.m. Saturday, September 20 in the Museum of Art Sculpture Court. Stars Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker will perform luscious and hilarious tales of food and family. Selected Shorts presents spellbinding short stories by established and emerging writers performed live by stars of the stage and screen for a unique evening of literature in performance. Michael Tucker is perhaps best known for his role as Stuart Markowitz in L.A. Law, for which he received three Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe nominations. His film credits include Woody Allen’s Radio Days and Barry Levinson’s Diner. His first play, The Straight Marriage Plays will be produced at the New Jersey Repertory Company in February of 2015.

Jill Eikenberry earned a Golden Globe Award and five Emmy Award nominations as Ann Kelsey on NBC’s L.A. Law. She starred in the Broadway productions of Moonchildren, Watch on the Rhine, and All Over Town and won an Obie Award for her performances in Lemon Sky and Life Under Water. She received the Humanitas Prize for Destined to Live, a breast cancer documentary she co-produced and hosted on NBC. Keyboard Conversations Returns with Schubert and Brahms September 6 • 8 p.m.

C

elebrated concert pianist Jeffrey Siegel opens the 2014-2015 Keyboard Conversations® season with a concert that explores the musical relationship between Schubert and Brahms: Passionate Classicists, 8 p.m. Saturday, September 6 in the Museum of Art Auditorium. This opening concert of the season features the charming waltzes, scintillating impromptus, and fiery pianistic dramas of Schubert, as well as the lyrical waltzes, intimate intermezzos, and super-virtuoso variations on the famous Theme of Paganini by Brahms.

he Museum of Art is now accepting applications for its popular Exploring Museum Careers High School Partnership Program. In this program, high school students learn first-hand from professionals about museum careers as they work with Museum staff on the production of a museum exhibition. Participation in this program requires sponsorship by a teacher or career counselor from the student's school. tin of grandma’s old buttons is the inspiration for hairpins designed by Marissa Olivera of Utica and available in the Gift Gallery. Buttons of assorted colors, shapes and sizes; ones with great detail, ones that don't match and ones so unique you wonder what kind of garment it ever belonged to are too beautiful to be kept tucked away. They deserve to be seen and enjoyed and given new life. Marissa has given these buttons new life as fun, decorative hairpins.

Comfortable seats give every patron an unobstructed view of our large screen. Admission for all screenings is $8 general admission and $6 for MWPAI Members. Admission for students with valid identification is $4 at all screenings. Tickets are on sale 30 minutes prior to each screening. Film Passbooks for discounted admission to 10 screenings are available for MWPAI Members for $55 and Non-Members for $75.
