Sponsor Profile: C&J Bus Lines

The Music Hall is thrilled to have established a three-year partnership with C&J Bus Lines to create a fantastic holiday tradition on the Seacoast: the Ogunquit Playhouse at the Music Hall. This series brings Broadway shows to the Historic Theater in Portsmouth each December. This year, the classic tale set in New England, Irving Berlin’s: White Christmas, the Musical comes to life on stage as a part of this unique series. According to The Music Hall’s Director of Institutional Advancement Gail VanHoy Carolan, C&J Bus Lines is “the ideal sponsor” for this series. “With their luxury services tying New York and Ogunquit together, along with their commitment to the community and families within Portsmouth and the region, C&J was the perfect corporate partner for this collaboration,” said Carolan. Founded in 1968, C&J Bus Lines has become a regional icon, providing unique, safe, and dependable transportation to over 700,000 passengers each year. C&J offers daily bus service from NH’s Seacoast area, as well as Newburyport, Massachusetts to Boston’s South Station and Logan International Airport. The company also provides daily executive class service from Portsmouth, NH; Tewksbury, MA to the New York Port Authority, and in 2015, began seasonal service from Ogunquit, Maine to New York. "C&J is excited to be the Presenting Sponsor for the Ogunquit Playhouse series at The Music Hall," said Jim Jalbert, President of C&J Bus Lines. "We are proud to support both communitybased organizations, The Ogunquit Playhouse and The Music Hall that bring so much pleasure to so many people, especially families, throughout the year. We think the Broadway collaboration between the two will be the perfect tie in with Vintage Christmas, and look forward to seeing White Christmas on stage!"
