Friday, December 6 • 8pm • $10 Arc Iris is the orchestral pop project of Jocie Adams, best known for her work with The Low Anthem. The singer and multi-instrumentalist formed this collective to present her ambitious new songs with cello, trumpet, pedal steel, piano, guitar and much more. NPR All Songs Considered calls the music “Somewhat cabaret, somewhat orchestral folk, a bit of show tune and jazz band.” Arc Iris has already played shows with Calexico, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Diego Garcia, and Justin Townes Earle. The debut album will be released in early 2014.
