Fun in the Sun

Ages: 0-6 years old with parent/caregiver

Cool off this summer and sing and dance with us during our three-week sessions of Fun in the Sun! Get ready for chants and fingerplays, instrument activities with balls, sticks, eggs, and drums, and movement activities with scarves, parachutes, and dancing! And of course, lots of laughter and fun with other families in a mixed-age class to foster natural, family-style learning. Infants and toddlers enjoy watching and imitating older children, preschoolers learn by leading younger ones, and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together! Each child participates at his or her own developmental level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, exploring, and playing musical instruments. Infant siblings under 9 months may attend for free and any caregiver (parent, nanny, or grandparent) can participate in this family music experience. For children ages birth through 6 and their parent of caregiver. No Sibling Discount. No prorate, but families can register late for a full price. Ages: 3-5 years old

Calling all junior artists! Come dressed for a mess and explore art making in this messy class. Inspired by a particular story and theme presented at the start of each class, children will have fun creating their very own art projects. Drop-off optional, parents and caregivers welcome. Child must be toilet independent or use pull ups. Students are suggested to bring old, oversized shirts to wear as smocks.
