Where is water in the city? Why can we not look at the water? With the study of the current on a city and over the topography of Montréal help to create a concept: bring water into blocks . Montréal is an island surrounded with St Laurent river which is not perceptible and make it appears to the inhabitant.

In the University of Montréal campus, all the ground is waterproof: parking, pavement. While the campus is on the top of the Mont-Royal hill, water goes in the storm sewer. The aim of the project was to reduce the quantity of rain in pipes. This water could be filtered and infiltrated in the ground where vegetation could use it or where the groundwater could be recharged.

In this typical 19th century garden, the Buller's brothers insisted on playing with views of the river Loire and of the city of Tours. Actually nobody take care of this piece of history and the project was to think about a renew of design and use. The Olympiades is known as a very good example of architecture of the 70's. Big towers, different layers of living, parking, gardens and shops all juxtaposed. This area was so schemer to me that i worked several times on it. For a movie inside it , revelating the mess and the labyrinthe. Then with photography, i try to understand the feeling of behing a human in a gigantic world, surronded by giant of concret.

In Saint-Louis, Sénégal, the «Jardin d’essai» is known to experiment new agricultural techniques and to be the only green lung in the city. Located in a poor district, this garden needed renovation and help. Be a volonteer, permit to approch closer the population and a culture. Petanque players, gardeners, kids in the street, everybody knew us. We discover a country and a culture through work. We paint the entrance gate, plant mango seeds and we create a petanque field for the local team.
