Diploma project of landscape school

to remember Gennevilliers, France

For my last year, i choose an urban site to reveal memory of immigration. In the 1960’s in the suburb of main cities, special houses for immigrants have been created: CitÊ de Transit. In Gennevilliers, a city close to Paris, that kind of housing had existed between 1966 and 1987. Everything had been destroy, my wish is to put forward memory of old dwellers in a particular space not used close to an highway. Full of wildlife, this area could be crossed and transofrned as a walk. A walk where people could come to discover a history of immigration and enjoy a peace moment into the density and the urbanity of the suburb of Paris.

Where is water in the city? Why can we not look at the water? With the study of the current on a city and over the topography of MontrĂŠal help to create a concept: bring water into blocks . MontrĂŠal is an island surrounded with St Laurent river which is not perceptible and make it appears to the inhabitant. Close to the Sainte-Catherine Street, a abandonned parking seems the percfect place to create an open fresh space to remember the old river under this candian city

to cross master of landscape / 4th year

Saint-Ouen, France

Find a way to cross a bowl and draw it to understand technical difficulties of building it. With this exercice I have to draw on CAO as if we will give our plan to the construction firm. It has to be clear, understable and feasible. The bowl under the footbridge is full of vegetation who support immersion at some times. Immersion happen during big storms and can collect rainwater from other streets. Then with a simple plan of a square house I had to adapted it to people with reduced mobility.
