We can Help the Care Convoy!

We can Help Now! I saw the reports about the rains, flooding and mud slides in Mexico. It was heart wrenching. Then the report mentioned that they are short of emergency services equipment and medical supplies…and I thought about the Care Convoy in Jerome, ID. (The Care Convoy collects usable surplus emergency services equipment & medical supplies and sends them to communities in need.) I talked with Todd Jaynes, coordinator of the Care Convoy. He has tons of equipment and supplies ready to ship and even more waiting at hospitals, clinics and fire departments waiting to be pick up. He is ready to send all of this to disaster areas of Mexico. So, let me summarize. We can help. We can help now. Here in Southern Idaho, we already have needed materials collected and ready to ship. What the Care Convoy needs is the funds to get everything from here to there and the funds to go around the valley to collect even more items. For every dollar that Todd collects, $100 worth of supplies can get to the areas of Mexico that need them. ~ Go to the Care Convoy on Facebook and make a donation. ~ https://www.facebook.com/CareConvoy ~ Drop me a note or give me a call if you can help with collection or transportation. ~ The Care Convoy needs people to help with collecting donated materials and eventually packing and hauling these things to a place where they can be picked up by Mexican agencies.
