“This video really captures the lyrics of the song, those moments of me working and out on the road and getting to come home,” says Nichols. “I love that my family is in it. I loved having my wife and my kids, my mom, and my sister in it. That’s what I really miss when I’m out on the road. It’s the first time my wife, Heather has been in one of my videos so that was a lot of fun.”
BAND NEWS: For multi-Platinum hitmakers Eli Young Band, the past year at home offered a chance to reset and recalibrate following two decades of success in the music industry. The Texas-based band has used the time for focused creativity, amassing a deep catalog of new songs. That renewed sense of excitement going into their next project is evident on a brand-new song available now via The Valory Music Co. Lead singer Mike Eli crafted the feel-good, singalong love song together with Laura Veltz and Jimmy Robbins, who also served as producer alongside Eric Arjes. For more information, visit eliyoungband.com and follow on social media @EliYoungBand. “I wrote so many songs in 2020, which was obviously a scary and odd time for the band and the world,” shares Eli. “This song was written towards the beginning when we still had a good handle on optimism and hope. It’s one of the things I love about this song. It’s about finding that person you’re meant to weather the storm with!”

CHRISTMAS 4 KIDS NEWS: The 2021 Christmas 4 Kids kicked off in style on November 22 with the annual benefit concert at the Ryman Auditorium. The stars on stage included Eddie Montgomery, Steve Dorff, Texas Hill, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Russell Dickerson, November Blue, Craig Wiseman, Jeffrey Steele and Brett James along with host Phil Vassar. The annual bus show is set for December 13 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hendersonville Walmart where you can get an up close look at the tour buses and meet some of the music industry’s top stars. It is easy to forget that there are families in the community who are less fortunate. It is sometimes a struggle to survive and many have no hope of providing extras (including toys and clothing) for Christmas. On December 14, volunteers and chaperones will accompany children in need to Walmart. Each child receives a new winter coat and $150.00 to spend however they choose on themselves and their families. More about Christmas 4 Kids and how you can donate or become a chaperone at christmas4kids.org and facebook.com/ Christmas4Kids/.
CLASSIC COUNTRY NEWS: Jeannie Seely and Jack Greene Together Again has been released to retail and digital music platforms by Country Rewind Records, that has established a well-known tradition of bringing unreleased traditional country music into the contemporary country era. This album consists of recordings made exclusively for radio broadcast and, although some song titles may be familiar, these specific recordings have never before been commercially available. The original master tapes were rescued by Country Rewind’s president and executive producer Tom Gramuglia and put in the safe hands of producer Paul Martin who brought the recordings up to twenty-first century audio quality. “I was thrilled that these recordings were still in existence and that they would be available to the public once again,” said an excited Jeannie Seely when she heard that these long-forgotten tapes had been re-discovered. “It will always be special to remember the years Jack and I worked together with an incredible group of musicians.” More about Country Rewind Records at https://www. countryrewindrecords.com.
