TOUR NEWS:

VIDEO NEWS:

Wheelhouse Records singer/ songwriter Elvie Shane will launch his first-ever headlining run, with his My Kinda Trouble Tour set to kick off on 2/17/2022 in Chattanooga, TN. The multicity stint will see Shane play major cities including Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN and more, and will mark some of Shane’s first live performances of his debut record Backslider. Joining him on tour will be Country newcomer, Frank Ray. Tickets for the tour are on sale now at elvieshane.com.

American Idol alum Alex Miller’s first official music video, “Don’t Let The Barn Door Hit Ya,” was shot in Alex’s hometown of Lancaster, Kentucky and at his grandfather GB Miller’s farm, the clip features several members of the Miller family, friendly locals and super-model/KY basketball TV and radio host Maria Montgomery. Cinematographer Steve Kinney made the most of the “country boy vs. city girl” concept, capturing the differences in the characters while also portraying the dichotomy between the beauty of the farm and the realities of rural life. The “just this side of slapstick” video opens with Montgomery tappin’ her toes and waiting on Alex to pick her up. After a brief truck ride, the “new gal” arrives at the farm, and is immediately put to work helping ready things for that night’s barn dance. You can learn a lot about stage presence by playing a tree,” he adds with a laugh. More at https:// alexmillercountry.com.

Shane’s tour announcement follows the recent celebration of his hit single “My Boy” topping the charts at country radio and being certified Gold by the RIAA. “My Boy” is taken from Backslider. Shane co-wrote the set that embodies the crunchy hooks of classic rock, the nostalgia of country music as well as the emotional electricity of Gospel and R&B. “I’ve never been more ready to break the chains!” shared Shane. “Getting to go out on the road for my first headlining tour is something we’ve been plotting for a while and feels like just the kinda trouble I could get into. I can’t wait to get out there and play this record live.”

VENUE NEWS: Ole Red is headed to Sin City. At a press conference, Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties’ CEO Colin Reed announced plans to open the sixth location of the iconic venue in Las Vegas with an opening date set for 2023. The Vegas Ole red will be located in front of Caesars Entertainment’s Bally’s Las Vegas. Shelton and Reed said that the company intends to spend around $30 million to develop the site, the group’s first venue in the western United States. It is planned to be a four-story structure with a main-floor dining area and two more floors that will overlook the central stage below. There will also be a 4,500 square foot rooftop area with spectacular views of the Las Vegas cityscape. As with the other venues, Ole Red Las Vegas will feature a menu of Shelton-inspired food and cocktails. It will be the brand’s largest location to date. “I’m proud that we’re building a network of places where artists can get the kind of exposure playing live that is so critical for growing their fan base,” said Shelton.
