Tupac Hall of Fame The definitive hip-hop anti-hero, Tupac wrote lyrics that spark conversations about rap, race relations, and young black men in America today. Tupac is officially a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as of Friday (April 7) after he was posthumously inducted during the ceremony held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The event then turned into an honorary performance where Alicia Keys performed “Changes,” “I Ain’t Mad at Cha,” “Dear Mama” and “Ambitionz As a Ridah” then YG joined Snoop for a rendition of “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.” Treach performed “Hail Mary” and T.I. paid his dues with “Keep Ya Head Up” while dressed in a bandana and leather vest.

Kendrick Lamar Drops DAMN. Kendrick Lamar drops his newest album titled DAMN. This album is one of the rawest hip hop albums of 2017. The album has sparked many debates in the hip hop community from women being more natural to police brutality.

Know the Difference The cannabis plant contains several cannabinoids. Cannabinoids (e.g., THC and CBD) are the chemical compounds secreted by cannabis flowers that provide relief to an array of symptoms including pain, nausea, anxiety, and inflammation. The most well known cannabinoid is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), but as more scientific research is conducted involving cannabis and its ability to be used as a medicine, more and more people are learning about other cannabinoids, especially cannabidiol (CBD). A brief description of THC via Wikipedia: Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), or more precisely its main isomer (−)-trans-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol ( (6aR,10aR)-delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), is the principal psychoactive constituent (or cannabinoid) of the cannabis plant. First isolated in 1964 by Israeli scientists Raphael Mechoulam and Yechiel Gaoni at the Weizmann Institute of Science[8][9][10] it is a water-clear glassy solid when cold, which becomes viscous

and sticky if warmed. Cannabidiol — CBD— is a cannabis compound that has significant medical benefits, but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counteract the psychoactivity of THC. The fact that CBD-rich cannabis doesn’t get one high makes it an appealing treatment option for patients seeking anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, and/or anti-spasm effects without troubling lethargy or dysphoria. THC and CBD are only two of more than sixty cannabinoids in the plant. Many states have already deemed hemp-derived CBD oil a legal and safe product due to its harmless medicinal affects and overall separation from THC-based marijuana, but last week’s DEA decision does not make that distinction.

Benefits of Economic Benefits Hemp has been called a plant of “major economic importance,” as it grows like a weed, yet can be used in the production of food, personal care products, textiles, paper, and even plastic and construction materials.1 Health Benefits The hemp seed is bursting with Omega-6 and Omega-3, essential fatty acids that have heart health and anti inflammatory benefits. Hemp seeds are nutty in flavor and breathe life into salads, desserts, yogurts, cereals, and breads. Hemp seeds can be turned into butter, milk, protein powder, finishing oil, and soap. Enviornment Benefits Hemp plastic is a “material of the future” that could drastically cut down on the need for plastics and their devastating toll on the environment. In some cases, standard plastics may be reinforced with hemp, which may account for up to 80 percent of the plastic’s weight. Hemp can also be used to make 100 percent hemp plastic, which is recyclable and can be 100 percent biodegradable.

Canada’s Legal Weed Trudeau released legislation that would make Canada the first industrialized nation to legalize marijuana. If it passes Parliament, which is widely expected, marijuana will be legally available across the vast nation by mid-2018. While recreational marijuana for adult use is legal in eight U.S. states, and a growing tolerance of weed has cushioned the legalization announcement’s impact, Canada’s announcement is a major milestone for the legalization movement and big questions remain unanswered. Here, a what you need to know about recreational weed in Canada, and what that might mean for Americans.

The Pot List: Celebrities in the Marijuana Business Given the fast-growing number of states legalizing medical marijuana (Pennsylvania became no. 24 just a few days ago), the demand for therapeutic hash is at an all-time high. According to a new report from ArcView Market Research, the legal cannabis market drew $5.4 billion in 2015 (a significant increase from $4.6 billion in 2014), and is expected to rake in $21.8 billion in total annual revenue by 2020. Naturally scores of kush-inclined capitalists are looking to profit off the Green Rush, with herb-loving celebrities among the multibillion-dollar industry’s biggest backers. In May 2008, she developed an interest in the computer retail industry by way of a former acquaintance; took her last $5,400 and co-founded The Computer Café -“Home of the $99 Laptops” and earned over $120K in the first three months of being in business and the rest was history. She continued to manage the operations for The Computer Café until Colorado legalized marijuana for recreational consumption in January 2014. Having been at the beginning of new companies, Khadijah understood “timing and positioning” and began making plans to move to Colorado to get positioned in the “Green Rush” of 2014. By March 2014, Khadijah had sold all of her worldly possessions except for her car, computer, cell phone and a few clothes and moved to Aurora, Colorado to take a position in the cannabis industry in hopes of creating generational wealth for her family. After discovering the truth about the cannabis and hemp plants, their medicinal benefits, and the real reason these plants were criminalized, Khadijah became very passionate about re-educating the communities most affected by the “War on Drugs” (communities of color) with the truth about cannabis, how and why these plants became illegal, and the economic benefits of positioning as either business owners or, as investors early-on. “It’s important to understand where we are today in history since history has been known to repeat itself. Compare the beginning of the alcohol industry to that of the marijuana industry. You’ll find that these two industries are more similar than other major industries; and I’m not talking about the “fad” of the dot.com industry. Alcohol was once prohibited (illegal) in America; and then individual states began to legalize alcohol for medicinal purposes one at a time, until finally the government ended alcohol

prohibition and legalized alcohol on a federal level. Once alcohol was federally legal, several families created generational wealth for their families. Take Joseph Kennedy for example. He invested in alcohol before alcohol was cool (that’s before federal legalization). He didn’t just invest in alcohol, but he invested in many of the companies that supported the industry of alcohol, so that when it became federally legal he became the 15th wealthiest man in America. The same thing is happening in the marijuana industry. States started legalizing medical marijuana since 1991, starting with California. Now here we are in 2017, and almost 30 states have legalized marijuana for medicinal or recreational consumption. Well according to statistics “people of color” namely African-Americans and Latinos were and still are the most people affected by the criminalization of the marijuana (cannabis) and hemp plants; and therefore in my opinion people of color should take advantage of the opportunity of positioning in this newly legalized industry early on; so when federal legalization occurs (marijuana prohibition ends), some of the families devastated by the so-called “War on Drugs”; can now benefit in some capacity. Possibly even help rejuvenate our communities and especially our families by creating generational wealth. Joseph Kennedy did it with alcohol, and now many people are doing it with marijuana. Why shouldn’t we?” – Khadijah Adams Still searching for an entrance into the industry, Khadijah wanted to own and operate a cultivation or a dispensary, but quickly realized that she and about 97% of Americans could not afford the high costs associated with the application and licensing process, so she began searching for strategic ways of positioning in the industry; and possibly helping others do the same. She was introduced to and took an interest in marijuana stocks. As a master networker, she

began to connect with industry leaders, and took on a few mentors; and then by November she began investing in a variety of marijuana related companies that sold shares of ownership in the over-the-counter (OTC) marketplace. After three months of learning the basics of investing in marijuana stocks, Khadijah earned her first profit and before long people started asking her to teach them the basics of investing in marijuana stocks. So to supply this demand, Khadijah decided to host educational investment workshops and to her surprise, accredited investors began attending these workshops, but they were not interested in learning about marijuana stocks, they wanted to hire her to connect them to industry leaders who offered private investment opportunities both discretely and discreetly. This new demand prompted Khadijah to form Marijuana Investment & Private Retreat (now known as MIPR Holdings, LLC), and she began hosting private weekend retreats for accredited investors only. Her weekend retreats cater to celebrities and other high net-worth individuals seeking entrance into the marijuana and industries. To date, Khadijah has hosted multiple private weekend retreats and has helped her clients connect to viable investment opportunities within the industry. “Part of what we do at MIPR Holdings is vet cannabis related companies to (a) make sure they are legitimate, (b) make sure they have a qualified management team at the helm because “everything rises and falls on leadership”, and then (c) make sure they have a quality product and that product is on demand (people want it). Once we have completed this process and all checks out; we like to share this information with the public.” – Khadijah Adams During her journey, Khadijah has developed some very unique business relationships and impressive connections throughout the industry. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Minority Business Council of the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) where she is also a member. She sits on the Advisory Board of the Cannabis Cultural Association and is a

member of the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP), and the Cannabis Consumer Coalition (CCC). Khadijah and her team are on a mission to help 1,000 families position in the cannabis and Hemp industries as either business owners or as investors, this year. To help them accomplish this mission, MIPR Holdings is hosting educational workshops in Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, and in Texas beginning in April and ending on June 24, 2017, in Cincinnati, Ohio. One of the companies she’ll be sharing uses and distributes federally approved hemp and CBD nationwide and offer a host of CBD and hemp infused products. Cannabidiol is commonly referred to as CBD. It’s a cannabis compound that has substantial medicinal benefits, but does not make you “high”. CBD can actually counteract the “high” that you get from the compound called Tetrahydrocannabinol aka THC found in marijuana. Hemp is not marijuana; and marijuana is not hemp. Both have their own individual uses and benefits. For instance, marijuana is typically used for the medicinal or recreational psychoactive (“high”) or non-psychoactive effects and benefits depending on the cannabinoid content. She (female plant) has high concentrations of THC and is low in CBD. On the other hand, Hemp cannot get you “high” at all. It’s commonly used for industrial and environmental purposes and has benefited humans since before Christ. He (male cannabis sativa plant) is extremely low in THC, but high in CBD. Hemp is also one of the strongest, most durable, natural soft-fibers on earth. Hemp has over 50,000 uses. Some of the most common things hemp can be used to make are medicine, paper, fuel, oils, plastics, clothing, shoes, housing, plastic, rope, and even food. According to health experts, CBD offers medical benefits that can help with Acne, ADD and ADHD, Addiction, AIDS, ALS, Alzheimer’s Disease, Anorexia, Antibiotic Resistance, Anxiety, Atheroscle-

rosis, Arthritis, Asthma, Autism, Bipolar, Cancer, Digestive Issues, Depression, Diabetes, Endocrine Disorders, Epilepsy and Seizures, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Heart Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Inflammation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Metabolic Syndrome, Migraine, Mood Disorders, Motion Sickness, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Nausea, Neurodegeneration, Neuropathic Pain, Obesity, OCD, Osteoporosis/Bone Health, Parkinson’s Disease, Prion/Mad Cow disease, PTSD, Rheumatism, Schizophrenia, Sickle Cell Anemia, Skin Conditions, Sleep Disorders, Spinal Cord Injury, Stress, Stroke and TBI For more information about MIPR Holdings, go to: www.miprholdings.com or call 720-327-9522 To purchase tickets to attend the next “Opportunities to Invest in the Green Rush” in Cincinnati, Ohio go to: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/opportunities-to-invest-in-the-green-rush-tickets-33600403712?aff=ehomesaved For more information about CBD oils, hemp oils and other products, go to: www.HealthyHempUSA.com
