offshore energy exhibition & Conference New talent at Offshore Energy

One key challenge facing the oil and gas industry today is finding, recruiting and training a new generation of professionals to produce more complex hydrocarbons. Primarily a B2B exhibition, Offshore Energy also offers its exhibitors tools to spot new talent. Companies using Offshore Energy’s career package will have a job route sign on their booth, job descriptions in the event catalogue and career postings in several media. Dutch companies like Heerema, Huisman Equipment and Jumbo, as well as foreign companies like Franklin Offshore and Saudi Aramco, have already booked their career package.

Official Event Hotel Wyndham Apollo

Offshore Energy offers its exhibitors and visitors a wide range of hotel & travel services. The official event hotel, the Wyndham Apollo Hotel, is located a mere 10 minutes away from the Amsterdam RAI. Exhibitors, visitors and delegates are offered discounted room rates (limited rooms available). On October 10th, event organizer Navingo will welcome all early arrivals for a drink at the Offshore Energy Kick-off party in the Wyndham Apollo Hotel. To book your room in this hotel, or in one of the other selected hotels, please go to www.offshore-energy.biz.

Development Company Holland North remains involved in Offshore Energy

The new location of Offshore Energy in the Amsterdam RAI will offer many new opportunities for the region North Holland North, which will gain international exposure as the operational offshore location for companies in The Netherlands. The development company, Holland North, is continuing its cooperation with Navingo BV, allowing Den Helder to come into the regional spotlight. Holland North has remained an active partner in Offshore Energy since the first edition in 2008. The offshore energy sector is important to the region North Holland North, largely because of Den Helder’s seaport and airport, both of which are very important for logistics and transport of personnel and materials to the various North Sea platforms. Because Offshore Energy is an international exhibition and conference, it provides an excellent platform to display the business advantages of the region North Holland North.

Navingo: possible exhibition hall expansion The 8,000 sq. m. exhibition hall at Amsterdam RAI, which will host Offshore Energy 2011, has rapidly filled up! In no time at all, over 250 stands were sold - well over 80% of the expected number of stands. Offshore Energy is pleased to welcome back a number of internationally operating leader firms including Heerema Group, Siemens, Fugro and Damen Shipyards Group. Next to these returning companies, new participants such as SPIE, Dockwise, MTU, Heinen & Hopman Engineering, Van Oord Offshore, SAL Heavy Lift and Huisman have also confirmed their presence. Given the exhibition forecasts, event organizer Navingo is seriously considering expanding the hall to 10,000 sq. m. This would mean that companies still wanting to book space, but who have missed the sign up deadline, would still have a chance to secure booth space.

Visitors from around the world

The first edition of Offshore Energy in the Amsterdam RAI promises to bring together key decision makers throughout the industry. Exhibitors from around the globe will find their

way to Amsterdam, and Offshore Energy will welcome companies from the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Germany. Preregistered visitors are travelling from Europe, North-America, Africa and Asia, and, judging from current numbers, the total turnout might just exceed the expected 5,000 visitors. For registration for the conference, as well as the pre-registration for the exhibition, please visit www.offshore-energy.biz.
