DAS REC YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
This recreational volleyball league emphasizes skill development and fun while promoting teamwork and fair play. Teams are coed in this instructional league that focuses on the fundamentals of volleyball and sportsmanship. Younger children learn basics like bumping, setting and spiking. Each player receives a uniform; children must have sneakers with non-marking soles to participate. One practice per week that shall be held between MondayFriday from 6pm-9pm. Season will consist of 10 games and will be played every Saturday. League play is governed by TAAF and local league rules. Awards given at the end of the season. Upon registration you will select a practice day/ time; this will also be your team for the season. Volunteer Coaches needed! Signup available at DasRec.com. Coaches meeting required.

Trying to decide if basketball is right for your little one? Hit the hardwood on Sunday, October 2 for our FREE basketball clinic, kicking off our youth basketball league registration. This fun event, for ages 5-17 will review basic rules and skills in passing, dribbling, and shooting, as well as offensive and defensive skills. OVER THE HILL 3V3 BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Over the hill, but not over the game? New for 2022 is our 3v3 basketball league for men 40 years old and over. This recreational league is focused on keeping you in the game while staying active, having fun, and building friendships. Season consists of 10 weeks. Regular season play will be 8 weeks with 2 games per night. Following the regular season there will be a 2 week double elimination playoff. Games will be self-officiated and played half-court. Max of 5 players per roster. League and playoff structure is subject to change based upon the number of teams registered. Manager meeting Wednesday, September 7 at 6pm via Zoom.

Stay active and competitive in a supportive environment by participating in Das Rec’s Adult Indoor Volleyball League. The season will consist of 9 regular season games plus a 1-week playoff. League play is governed by TAAF and local league rules. Officials fees are included. Please register early as there are a limited number of teams that are allowed. PADDLES & PEARLS LADIES PICKLEBALL MIXER
Grab your BFF’s for a fun afternoon of pickleball at this social mixer with round robin tournament-style games. Limited spots available so be sure to call in or sign up individually online to make a reservation. Preevent beginner clinic at 2:30pm with round robin play beginning at 3pm. Door prize giveaways at the end of the mixer.

Perfect time for new players who have the basic understanding of the game and would like to practice and improve the essential skills of a game. DAS WURST PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT
Don your leiderhosen and dirndle as we kick off German festivities in New Braunfels with the annual Das Wurst Pickleball Tournament! Mixed juniors age 15+, family and generational teams encouraged to sign up! Two divisions open for registration to all co-ed Teams - Rec 2.5-3.0 and Competitive 3.0-3.5 skill level. Tournament format is Round Robin Pool Play with winners from each pool advancing to a Single Elimination bracket. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams will be awarded in each division. Maximum of 16 Teams per division.

DAS REC 3 POINT SHOOTOUT
Come see if you have what it takes to be crowned Das Rec’s 3 Point Champion. Each participant will have 15 balls to shoot, with 5 balls per rack. There will be a 45 second timer to complete all 15 shots. Each rack will contain a “money” ball worth an extra point for a possible high score of 18 points. This is a drop-in event and there is no limit on the number of attempts you can purchase. Prizes will be awarded to top scoring players! Open to Das Rec members only.

Grab a partner and get ready for the Winter Teams 6-week Pickleball Ladder League! League teams must be Co-Ed/ Mixed (one male/one female) and open to all skill levels. This fun and competitive format of play is designed so that teams mostly play with others of similar skill levels. Sign-ups for Division 1 (3.5 to 4.0) or Division 2 (3.0-3.5). Season begins January 9, 2023. Max 16 team spots for each Division.
